I will say this until the end of time, America was not ready for an unapologetically open gay man to win that show even though he so rightly should have. No one even remembers the name of the actual winner of that season but we all know who Adam Lambert is.
He can sing anything and he makes this 70 year old lady happy every time I see him. His Kennedy Center performance of Believe and his lead singing for Queen is epic.
Adam didn't need American Idol. He was already a winner in the eyes of the world. Amazing. He is kind. Caring. Great Talent. So happy for Adam in Queen Band.
Adam Lambert is simply unbeatable. He has an incredible voice, can sing any musical style and has a lot of stage presence! Adam was born to be a superstar and in fact, that's what he became.
Adam Lambert didn't win American Idol, but look at him now. Absolutely a fabulous success in the entertainment industry. The same with Jennifer Hudson who finished in 7th place. Now she's the youngest E.G.O.T. winner in history. The show became more of a popularity contest than a singing contest. A few gifted singers used this platform as their stepping stone to greater things. You can't keep gifted talent from revealing itself.
I am 87 years old, I watched him on American Idol; I fell in love with his voice, deliverance, and he has the looks to go with it. He was the winner in my books. So glad to see how he has made his challenge.
This guy has one of the best voices I’ve heard in the past 50 years and I can’t believe he didn’t win the final. I was brought up on 70’s & 80’s rock music and when he sings rock music he is untouchable. No wonder Brian May and Roger Taylor wanted him to front Queen after his performance in the final. The other guy who won the final was average at best compared to Adam. His rendition of Led Zepplins Whole Lotta Love was just incredible. Plus he looks like a rock star when he’s on that stage. Finally his vocal range is incredible.
There was no valid excuse for Adam to NOT win idol. Still to this day he is the most talented person to Grace the idol stage. Every performance was a full blown show. He is a true entertainer. I'm glad he has gone to far with his talents and his career. He deserves every last bit of it. He's a beautiful human being

He should have won American Idol hands down. He has charisma, he’s gorgeous, and a voice like no other.
This guy is not in competition, he was having his concert every week! 🎆🎉🎉
13 years later and I never tire of going back to watch Adam from the beginning.💗💜❤️
The minute Adam came in the stage , a star was born
Omg there are not enough words to describe how brilliant Adam is. I'm a 73 year old who loves him. ❤️

I think American Idol was not ready for Adam Lambert.
OMG H3 DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A CONTESTANT AT ALL. HE WAS A STAR FROM THE BEGINNING
Adam was always famous. We just didn't know it yet.

His cover of “Believe” was absolute perfection at the Kennedy Center Honors!!
He may not have won American Idol
I'm 77 and I adore him. My youngest daughter loves him too. Fans forever.

He's phenomenal!! I got chills when he sang Mad World. Possibly the best singer & performer to grace the stage on Idol!
