Gamesir G8+, to me, is hands down the best mobile controller! I mainly use it for my Z Fold 6, and recently tested it out with my tablet and Nintendo Switch. It being Bluetooth and able to expand to the length it can is such a huge plus, in my opinion of course! With a foldable phone you don't always want a direct connection controller, for obvious orientation reasons. I notice zero input lag in every game I've played as well! Overall, it is definitely one to consider if you are interested in a mobile controller.
If you are using the controller can you charge your phone while playing games? Or you have to disconnect the controller to charge your phone ?
Also he didn’t mention the vibration motors and native switch compatibility with usb c connection and Bluetooth

What a unique niche and the dad life inside of me is all for it.
The idea of Turtle Beach ATOM controller is nice but because of Bluetooth connectivity I don’t think I will get it. Hopefully they will make another version with usb-c and customizable back buttons
The kishi ultra Razor controller is wonders for me. Love the buttons and triggers and on how everything felt. The grips of the controller felt very comfortable in my hands. Great phone controller 👍
the majority of these controller makers don't realise is that a lot of actually have cases on our phones. I can't use my backbone because i have a sturdy case on my phone, so it doesn't connect.
Then the consumer needs to decide what works for them, I suppose, as it's not realistic to expect they'd accommodate every case on the market for any given phone.
You can with the second gen. You can remove some holders inside. It’s held by magnets
Gamesir G8 has one critical weakness. The hinge holding the USB C connector is a 5mm tall flimsy piece of plastic that can break any minutes, rendering it completely useless.
G8+ is 2x better even though it's Bluetooth, it's insanely good
@@mythydamashii9978 That's exactly what I got. It seems more durable than the regular G8. But the only downside is that you can't charge it through G8 anymore. Also no earphone plug from G8.

@ known issue, yes. Documented, no. Personal experience, yes. I dissembled the thing trying to fix it. No luck. I threw it in garbage and got the G8 pro bluetooth and it’s awesome.

The bells and whistles on these controllers are nice, but ultimately a controller's primary purpose is to provide great controls. The Kishi Ultra is best telescopic controller despite its price. Best d-pad, full size analog sticks, great buttons and very comfortable to hold.
Does it have back buttons?
And does it have Zero input lag?

You should state which one works with a case on the phone
A lot of them don’t take cases into account because of how many variations of cases there are. So yes there are case friendly ones but it all varies on what case you have.
@@MrEddyedrThat's such a mootpoint... Any controller able to accomodate an all around 3mm thick rugged case would be able to do so for 99% of cases out there. Don't try to justify what has been evidently overlooked...
@@del8681 otterbox, also a lot of them are meant for caseless for size management, this is no one size fits all like caseless especially for the ones that use a port instead of Bluetooth.
I don't think the USB C latency matters over the Bluetooth, more so if you are playing over wifi
Which controller is best for both ioS and Android? I don't know about games. I'm a new user.
My first ever mobile controller is the Razer Kishi V1. It works amazingly and I love it, but only problem I have with it is that it's not diverse to all sizes.
I had to modify it to fit my s23 ultra but ended up breaking the ribbon because it was stretched to the max. V2 is far superior but I've recently ordered the g8+

ROG Tessen is my pick, the portability, innovation, build quality, and aesthetic is just way ahead. Not only that, it got RGB, rear paddles, console-grade joystick, 18W past-through charging. Best mobile controller for sure.

Probably because of the wireless controller latency and also they will run out of battery so you have to charge them before a gaming session which can be annoying.
To me the best budget moblie controller is the gamesir T4pro plus you can use it for your pc or switch

Call of Duty Mobile and Xbox Game Pass (you can stream games like you're watching a movie, sometimes it works like a charm, other times it lags a lot, but it's still a Beta program)
If you're okay with bluetooth i would also suggest an 8bitdo controller! They work with pc/console as well.

Hello, I have a problem connecting a gamepad to an iplay 60 mini pro tablet. After connecting the gamepad (Gamesir G8 Galileo) to the USB C port, the controls on the controller suggest that there is not enough power from the tablet for the controller to work properly - they slowly blink (the gamepad works properly with the charger connected to its port, after disconnecting it does not work again and the controls blink). The gamepad is fully functional because it works properly with the POCO X6 Pro phone and the iPad Pro tablet. The problem only occurs with the Aldocube tablet. Can I do something about it or is the tablet the culprit?
The backbone is flimsy, but you can't beat their frontend app - makes the whole process of gaming on your phone that much easier (and cooler). However, stuff all that because the Gamesir G8 looks like it was developed with big phones in mind! Despite what some others have said, I'd take a chance on it's flimsy USB-C port for the extra rigidity.
Unfortunately, the SCUF nomad doesn’t support in game virtual overly :(

Does anyone know if there are controllers that are as wide as these that doesnt need a mobile phone in it that works for pc? My wife doesnt like the original xbox or playstation controllers as they are to narrow. She wants a controller that almost is as wide as here shoulders.
Well, xbox hast the xbox adaptive Controller, for people, who cant or wont use the regular, cause of shoulder or health issues or so. Maybe that helps.
Razed Kishi ultra from this list can be used as its own controller on PC. It is shown to be doing that on the razer website in the pictures

Just buy a new iPhone. I would not support lightning anymore for any new product. It just makes no sense. It's obsolete. And on a normal 2 years update cycle you would now get USB C on iPhone.

I ahve the Backbone and have to be honest, I dont understand the love. I really dislike the joycons. Sprinting in fps especially is awful. Maybe it's me and my thumbs, but the right stick is kind of spastic in terms of response.

I just ordered the Legion g7 controller which looks like a Gamesir G8 rebranded and modded to fit tablets. Honestly the first company to use a USBC connection that will fit phones with cases will win the market just a simple slideable notch to extend the USBC by 2mm is all it takes.

Slight input delay, may disconnect randomly, something you have to remember to charge, no pass through charging.

I don't want a controller that's gonna RAPE my charging port by forcing a conection in there.
After retiring a perfectly good phone because the charging port wore out, I now have a machine nub in the port and change with a magnetic cable.
I want a controller that will let me slip my own cable to my phone so that I can charge while playing.

I wish power a made an updated version of the power a moga pro controller with the usb c port while still retaining the internal battery to charge the device that the controller is connected to. I still have my power a moga pro controller with it's internal battery to charge my phone but it uses micro usb and power a stopped supporting the power a mobile app. The power a moga pro controller app only supports older android games and barely receive updates when the controller was being updated before the app stopped receiving updates. I had to find another 3rd party app to map the power a moga pro controller to be compatible with newer games. I even tried the panda game pad pro app to map my power a moga pro controller but the panda game pad pro app says that it bans 3rd party controllers when I tried to use the app to map buttons for my games such as call of duty mobile.

You have to be an idiot to buy a controller for more than 40-50.00 dollars. That goes for anything.
Game sir not only wouldn’t let my phone download the app so not map able so junk tech support stunk they say my android is so rare problem - not so what a non game sir controller for my android s22 I use only for fire strike fps online game designed for touchscreen so making without a freaking subscription or more $ would be great

Because of Bluetooth, which isn’t good and reliable for gaming.
@@Theboss00077 Nah, my XBox xontroller is Bluetooth on my PC or the XBox and it works fine. More and more channels are covering it now, it just took forever and a day to happen.
