@@rocker458117it's not supernatural. The processes mutating him were kicked into overdrive through exposure to toxic and radioactive waste. Shin Godzilla 2016 is such that I was able to empathize Godzilla. Also I don't know if many spoke about it that the background scores supporting the events were amazing.
This is primarily a recap of the movies rather than a detailed explanation of their origins, and this video sounds like it's narrated by AI with words pronounced in ways nobody who speaks English would get wrong. Given how frequent the uploads on this channel are, I assume that's the case. Also missed Godzilla Raids Again, which just like the 1954 film predicts, is an entirely different Godzilla, plus Godzilla 2000, especially since the Millennium series uses the bones of the 1954 Godzilla to create MechaGodzilla.
I knew about the atomic breath and the dangerous tail, but I never knew Godzilla had udders. Don’t know what he needs them for, but the video keeps bringing them up, so… milk away, Japan.

However, Alien Weaponry has been shown to be strong enough to wound him with Gigan's Buzzsaw and claw arm ripping into him, and Mechagodzilla had gunned down Godzilla severely wounding him.

MonsterVerse Godzilla isn't a hero or villain. He's an animal/monster. The king of the monsters tries to protect his home/kingdom. We just view MonsterVerse Godzilla as their protector, and he strongly dislikes humans but rather acknowledges humans.

"Megaguirus Godzilla's Weaknesses": Godzilla's bulk and slow movement. A black hole was fired at Godzilla as the craft began to crash land back to Earth. Godzilla countered the black hole with a blast of atomic breath, which resulted in an explosion, with Godzilla vanishing as the smoke cleared, having been seemingly killed by the weapon He was later revealed to have survived. However, the weapon was effective in at least subduing him for a few days.
Well, Dr Yamani actually named the creature "Gojira" in the 1954 Japanese release. The film was released in 1956 in America as "Godzilla: King of the Monsters". Essentially the same movie save for English translation and scenes worked in for an American Actor who played a reporter named Steve Martin. In Godzilla 1985 the character Steve Martin was brought back, but as the comedian Steve Martin was rather popular at the time he was only called "Mr. Martin" in the film. "Kiryu Saga Godzilla's Weaknesses": Chest wound and Mothra Larvaes' Silken Cocoon. "Anti-Godzilla weaponry": MechaGodzilla: A third version of Mechagodzilla, Kiryu, appeared in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. This time, the mecha was built around the skeleton of the original Godzilla from 1954. However, DNA in the bones caused Kiryu to remember that it was once Godzilla and it went on a rampage. Once the JSDF was able to get Kiryu under control, it forced Godzilla to retreat. Godzilla and Kiryu would meet again in Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S., but this time, Mothra would intervene. Mothra demanded that Godzilla's bones (inside Kiryu) be returned to their grave. The JSDF agreed, but only after Godzilla was defeated. Ultimately, Kiryu made the final decision and returned to the sea on its own will, carrying Godzilla with him and plummeting into the ocean.

I'll never understand the hypocrisy of Goji fans that hate 98 for being "too different" but loving Shin Godzilla, the anime trilogy, and Singular Point.
The problem with zilla is that it has nothing similar to Godzilla. It is smaller, very weak, no atomic breath, it's biggest threat was laying eggs and even then it could be taken out with conventional weapons so no it isn't Godzilla. Legendary Godzilla did not fight AGAINST Mothra. He fought WITH Mothra, with the Queen of the Monsters sacrificing herself to boost up Big G in his Ghidora battle.
Nobody talking about shin godzilla having humanoid beings inside itself ?
I don't think it's a natural creature like what you think.
There's also its tail face, and the deleted scene with some of godzillas swprated blood and meat grew eyes
It definitely isn't. There's a supernatural element to Shin that I don't think is acknowledged enough.
@@rocker458117 what I personally think is shins existence can be summoned up 2 ways.
1. the souls of the dead from Japan's history + a creatures that alredy existed + radiation = a being of pure pain
Or
2. Existing creture + radiation + evil itself = somthing beyond pain
@@rocker458117it's not supernatural. The processes mutating him were kicked into overdrive through exposure to toxic and radioactive waste. His cells are more like cancer cells that can *correctly* copy themselves.
Further, cells rapidly altering their structure in reaction to stressors is not unheard of in nature. There are a few temperature sensitive SCOs that have the standard blob shape that transform into an almost squid shape to move if the temperature changes suddenly. Once they're back to a correctly temperature area they revert back to the initial form. Genetic studies show they've essentially got extra DNA they can slot in or out as needed.
Shin is doing that, but permanently.
It was Heisei MechaGodzilla that housed all the souls of everyone who died mad at Japan.
@nicholashodges201 I thought the human that was on the Yacht was hinted to have merged with the early stage Godzilla. Like having his soul or something. I wasn't trying to insinuate it was purely supernatural, just that there's aspects of Shin that are.
Tohou refuse to acknowledge the 1998 godzilla as a godzilla. Its a godzilla like creature, they hated it so much that they later killed it in one of the movies.
They call it Zilla too. They even have Godzilla beat Zilla in one of their movie.
I thought they literally bought the rights to it just so they could kill it on the big screen😂
@t3arki113r I mean, they did, but it doesn't mean we can bring it back to the monster universe. Zella did had eggs and a cartoon show.
@@AliceHobbes thats kinda what i said
@AliceHobbes i kinda like it. The zilla looks beautiful. And the zilla in the cartoon as it scales the building in the intro looks "sexy" and I don't mean in the r34 18+ way.
My favorite takes on the G-Man, are the 60's/70's version from Toho Studios, and the modern Monsterverse Titanus Godzilla.
please NEVER SAY OTHER....love the video
The last ten years have been pretty sweet if you're a Godzilla fan. I know some folk dislike the Monsterverse, I'm really enjoying it. The monster designs and fight scenes are fantastic.
But Shin Godzilla and Minus One are just amazing movies.
I absolutely loved the 1998 Godzilla movie. I was only 7 then, but it totally blew my mind.
I've been a lifelong Godzilla fan and when I first heard Godzilla was coming out as a child, I was so excited... then I saw it in the 90s. I think I should have gotten my money back because that wasn't Godzilla (Zilla movie version). When I saw the first trailer for the 2014 teaser which showed his shadow as Oppenheimer stated he "Now I have become death, destroyer of worlds".... whoa did I love it.
Origin stories depicted:
1. Nukes
2. Nukes w/ time travel
3. French nukes
4. The dark lord
5. Big dinosaur via hollow earth nukes
6. Nuclear waste
7. Anime bullshit
8. Multiverse nukes
Lol, at first I was like the anime BS part was uncalled for but then I realized it's actually very accurate
@@Mr.lookovrtheryeah
You got all of them like 90% right
In "GMK: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" the Japanese military analysts mention that the Americans were claiming that Godzilla attacked New York in 1998, but that the Japanese experts had their doubts about that particular creature's identity. That was the writers at Toho taking a shot at the 1998 Tri-Star Godzilla film, by invalidating him as actually being Godzilla.
Yes, that's why it was dud the naned Zilla because they didn't like that the fact the Americans producer/director have drastically changed Godzilla appearance form the agreement concept Godzilla was supposed to be originally propose in the 1998 film
Can you do a video about all the monsters and Titans that Godzilla had fought in the Monsterverse? You know, the Mutos, Shinomura, Muto Prime, Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, etc... And one about the history of the Skywalker Family in the Star Wars Legends timeline? Or one about the bending arts of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra? This message is for Marvelous Videos, the creator of these videos.
First class video 👍🏾
Godzilla Singular Point to me has the most confusing origin and plot ever. Felt like a complete psycho trip akin to Evangelion LOL
That and snow Godzilla never knew why he showed up in that one specific anime lol
the thumbnail is the coolest thumbnail ive ever seen
I know it's not a popular opinion and I don't like some aspects of the series, but Godzilla Earth is my favorite .
Not my favorite, but I definitely enjoyed it. I love how they went through all that effort to kill Godzilla, only to realize it was the offspring of the original. I don't like what they did with Ghidorah too abstract for me.
I'm surprised that you didn't talk about the 97 cartoon follow-up
Singular point Godzilla is too complicated 😵💫😂
Shin Godzilla is my favorite. He's literally immortal, since he can adapt to any danger and evolve to survive any situation. Very cool
Cool origins.
I knew about the atomic breath and the dangerous tail, but I never knew Godzilla had udders. Don’t know what he needs them for, but the video keeps bringing them up, so… milk away, Japan.
Godzilla minus one will go down as one of the if not the greatest godzilla movie EVER.
Agreed until I see the new version for x Godzilla
@@kyneevans5148 I’m cautious , definitely feeling like it’s Kong oriented and godzilla won’t be the focus
@@kyneevans5148 in fact the only thing I wanted in minus one that I didn’t get was a Megumi Odaka cameo I miss Miki 😂😭
I'd almost go as far to say it could be not only the greatest Godzilla film ever, but possibly the greatest monster movie ever made. Well, 2nd only to Jaws lol. Godzilla Minus One is still some great cinema either way!!!
Agreed
god the Godzilla SP synopsis is pure word salad
Godzilla is a Prehistoric Titan in the MonsterVerse 12:03

"Second Showa Godzilla's Abilities":
Amphibious lifestyle, atomic breath, durability, energy absorption and projection, flight, intelligence, magnetic powers, physical abilities, and regeneration. "Second Showa Godzilla's Weaknesses": Electricity and Subzero temperatures. "Anti-Godzilla weaponry":
Due to Godzilla's size, super-strength, and regenerative abilities, he is invulnerable to most forms of conventional attack. However, Alien Weaponry has been shown to be strong enough to wound him with Gigan's Buzzsaw and claw arm ripping into him, and Mechagodzilla had gunned down Godzilla severely wounding him.
Corrections: Godzilla 1954 was 50 meters, not 50 feet; the phrase is "wreaked havoc", or "wrought havoc", not "wrecked havoc" (havoc is not something physical which one can wreck). I hope this is useful moving forward. I support your channel and want to help.

Godzilla wasn't super famous until 1964's "king Kong vs Godzilla" and that's when he got super popular. also your description of Godzilla's original origin is 50% wrong! he was a dormant prehistoric lifeform mutated into his iconic form.
The most unrealistic part of the earlier godzila movies is that the rest of the country's that are ayllied with them not helping them.

I didn't think Godzilla 1998 was all that bad. I just didn't like that he was CALLED Godzilla. It would have been just fine if it had been named something else. I have actually really liked the MonsterVerse movies.
Godzilla earth trilogy was my favorite
MonsterVerse Godzilla isn't a hero or villain. He's an animal/monster. The king of the monsters tries to protect his home/kingdom. We just view MonsterVerse Godzilla as their protector, and he strongly dislikes humans but rather acknowledges humans.
"Megaguirus Godzilla's Abilities": Amphibiousness, Atomic breath, Durability, Energy absorption and projection, Physical abilities, Intelligence. "Megaguirus Godzilla's Weaknesses": Godzilla's bulk and slow movement. "Anti-Godzilla weaponry":
"Dimension Tide":
The Dimension Tide was introduced as a weapon within the events of the film, being a weapon capable of firing a black hole.

Did you let AI write your script again?
"Final Wars Godzilla's Abilities": Amphibiousness, Atomic breath, Energy absorption and projection, Nuclear Pulse, Physical abilities, Spiral heat ray, Durability, Intelligence. "Final Wars Godzilla's Weaknesses": Subzero temperatures, Monsters X/Keizer Ghidorah, and Modified Gigan.
You got a number of things wrong in your video. You should do more research.
Godzilla earth is actually the original Godzilla from the prequels to the anime trilogy the smaller one is an offspring

"Kiryu Saga Godzilla's Abilities": Amphibiousness, Atomic breath, Energy absorption and projection, Physical abilities, Durability. "Kiryu Saga Godzilla's Weaknesses": Chest wound and Mothra Larvaes' Silken Cocoon. "Anti-Godzilla weaponry":
MechaGodzilla: A third version of Mechagodzilla, Kiryu, appeared in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.
King of the monsters missed a opportunity to make rodan mothra and godzilla work together to beat chidorah. They could beaten that godzilla nostalgia tbh.
Isn't it spelled "Ghidorah" not Gadora at least thats what every mention of the monster says🤷♂
Shin Godzilla makes me feel sad about Godzilla and at the same time makes me terrified of him
This narrator says "udder" instead of other.
Hysterical.
What about Godzilla Minus One?
This video was 3 weeks ago and Godzilla Minus One is basically a remastered/remake of the 1954 classic Godzilla.
On another note I hated the anime trilogy and singular point. Shin was great though as it was exactly what Godzilla was, a nuclear mutant that symbolizes a disaster.
@@MrChristofDracul "a nuclear mutant that symbolizes disaster" is an apt description for Zilla as well as Shin.
I find Zilla to be a close enough reimagining of Godzilla mixed with the Rhedosaurus.
