Started watching Godzilla in the 60's and haven't stopped. Big eyed baby is the best baby. And the legendary is my favorite especially his big brute look
Godzilla is my favorite character of all time. I was introduced to the character before anything marvel or DC and have since collected every film in the franchise. Since the franchise is still going strong, I will be seeing both Godzilla Minus One and GxK: The New Empire several times.
It just did for me. Used to think he was so cool as a kid, but he looks so silly until the most recent ones. Even then, CGI transformer-like movies never have much of a story. Cool concept, but has there been any good Godzilla movies?
@@Brian-uq4wu buddy that's because you're generalizing the low budget classic films that didn't age well with the ones that did age well. It's like comparing vs megalon which flopped and had a low budget in the 70s to against mechagodzilla from 2002 which had a higher budget was successful in Japan and aged well to this day. Don't be one of those people who thinks "man in suit=silly and low budget" by that logic, jurassic Park nor predator (1987 and 90) wouldn't look good decades later but they still look good. Also....where have you been the last 9 years? There's been multiple godzilla content from America and Japan
I remember seeing Shin in theaters and it was truly how I imagined a modern '54 iteration would be. The allegories to world destroying weapons were all there. It was the most "monster" of all versions.
Grew up in the 60's & 70's with Godzilla & still watching him today. I like the original Godzilla's best & if the iconic roar isn't right, it just isn't Godzilla. Final Wars Godzilla is a cool design. I have 2 models in my office. 1 in a glass front wooden case still new in the box.
I'm the only person I know that CRIED when Godzilla got destroyed at the end of 'Godzilla 1985'. Loved all the old "giant creatures" movies of the 60s on up. Ray Harryhousen was great. But there was nothing better than a Saturday afternoon, after all the cartoons had gone off and you were ready to drag yourself outside only to realize that DESTROY ALL MONSTERS was coming on!! Brings back memories.
‘Shin Godzilla’ is actually my FAVORITE in the franchise. It was the only one that actually FRIGHTENED me a little on my first time watching…just like the ORIGINAL was meant to when it first came out.
I remember the first Godzilla movie I watched was “Godzilla vs Megaguirus” as a kid It was around the time that Back at the Barnyard movie was out. And once I saw it I was hooked on Godzilla.
I really want to see Godzilla Minus One, Sadly no theater any where near me is gonna be carrying it. Godzilla was my first Superhero. All those cheesy late 60's and 70's movies made him the Dinosaur Superman and a staple of Saturday afternoon TV when i was a kid. The Godzilla Legacy of Monarch on Apple TV looks like it's gonna be good as well. Gonna wait till all the episodes drop and then do a free trail to watch it.
Absolutely excited about anything Godzilla. Since the beginning when I watch the first Gojira all in Japanese. I was equally excited when the states released the Godzilla with Raymond Burr as reporter. Keeping most of the film as possible. Thank you for a amazing timeline. As much as I claim to be a huge fan, you can ALWAYS learn something new. Thank you from Melinda
Huge goji fan and have seen them all... even the "bad" ones. I'm seeing minus one tonight and cant wait to see the direction they take the king of monsters! 😊
Ive been watching godzilla since i was a kid. If my pare ts couldnt find me on su days it was cause i was watching godzilla reruns on tv. Now my kids love gojira just as much as i do
Heisei era Godzilla was where i first was introduced to Godzilla. I also watched both of the Godzilla animated shows. I was a fan of the 98 version as well. However my favorite version of Godzilla is the legendary monster verse version. I also loved Godzilla 2000 and the millennium series.
I can remember watching The big G Man back in the stone age I tell ya me and my friends we all gather in our caves watching Godzilla on our rock made TV he was the bomb back in those days his shows was so horrorfying that it shook our caves whenever him comes
I have been loving Godzilla since the 1960s version of him that I watched on TV as a little girl in the 70s. I enjoyed his personality and how he would step on Godzilla Junior’s tail to help him blow fire. I always thought Godzilla was a sea monster that will come to land to wreck havoc for whatever reason, and then return, I did go see the 1998 Godzilla because it was just a creature looked nothing like him and king of the monster is my favorite one so far. Got to catch up on Shin Godzilla and looking forward to Godzilla minus one soon.
Godzuki is godzilla's nephew, not his son and that character was specifically exclusive to the Hannah Barbara godzilla cartoon from the 70s Other variations of godzilla's offspring are not like godzuki
So ... Wolverine in Kaiju form? ... ... ... I need to see Godzilla Minus One. ( ... and I just confirmed it plays at my local theater Dec 2nd, BBBBAAAaaaby! 😎)
I really enjoyed Godzilla VS Kong and just saw Godzilla Minus One loving how it paid homage to the original. I feel that that is the best Godzilla movie to date but I'll be looking forward to the new Godzilla X Kong movie because with Godzilla for me its always a great time with the titans!
wait...did i blink and miss it? or did you not talk about the 3D Anime Netflix Godzilla? it was like 3 or 4 movies where humans had to evacuate the planet due to Godzillas rampage, the plot was related to them coming back to the planet, seeing how Godzilla changed it and attempting to reclaim the Earth.
Jr would've had to have been Godzilla's kid. I always thought Rodan stole the egg. It wasn't his baby and Jr had connections to big G telepathically, coming back to life from his energies when he died. He didn't pop up out of thin air
Both Biollante and Orga are not Godzilla incarnations, much like how it was a mistake to add both Mechagodzilla and SpaceGodzilla in the video. However in the Anime Trilogy continuity, both Biollante and Orga were theorized to be sub-species of the Godzilla incarnation in that universe
This is my childhood, grew up watching Godzilla and I'm gonna leave this world watching Godzilla. He's just a cult classic.
Ok... but don't leave yet there's still more to see
Same here brotha
Make your own Godzilla film and culminate your voyage
Well stated, Brodie 💪🏽💯💯💯💯💯
This😤
I used to watch all the old Godzilla movies with my mother when I was a child. It's instilled a love for these movies, and I'll watch them forever.
My grandmother used to take me to the drive in when new Godzilla movies came out, and she'd climb into the back and sleep through it.
Man, ever since my mother introduced me to Godzilla when I was 5 years old, I still loved him ever since!
Started watching Godzilla in the 60's and haven't stopped. Big eyed baby is the best baby. And the legendary is my favorite especially his big brute look
This Godzilla video puts the biggest smile on my face you have taken me straight back to my childhood I’ve been a Godzilla fan since the 90s.
Cool I been a fan since I was a kid the 80's.
Godzilla is my favorite character of all time. I was introduced to the character before anything marvel or DC and have since collected every film in the franchise.

There is book where godzilla kills god and devil..that was interesting
Yes, but are you reading Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong?
Godzilla will never get old to me 😂

@@Brian-uq4wuyou’re actually tripping if you think Monsterverse, Shin and Minus One look silly
@@R26789 but those are recent. Are they any good
@@Brian-uq4wu then why would he get old if he looks cooler now? Also Heisei and Final Wars were really good designs imo

There’s one more version that never appeared in movies or television but in a video game: SUPER GODZILLA
Golden Aura plus golden spiky hair?

There is also Snow Gozilla and Godzilla Earth they missed.
And the old animated Godzilla

Final Wars for me was the best Godzilla design.
"I'm gonna be like him dad,you know I'm gonna be like him" from Cats in the cradle.

The Last Mecha Godzilla I was waiting for him to turn into a vehicle and say " Autobots Rollout " 😂🤣😂🤣
Lovely Godzilla 🎗️🎗️🎗️
The reason for the two origin for Space Godzilla is because Biollante happened before time was changed. It's likely Mothra was the reason.
Godzilla the series was awesome 😎
I will always be a massive fan of Godzilla
You forgot a Godzilla, and that was the Animated Godzilla World.
Son of Godzilla in 1967 & Destroy All Monsters is a 1968 also had baby zilla in & he plays jump rope.
Yea his name was Minilla which was even before the one he said was the 1st
