Greg Mowad Thank you, Greg! You’re 100% correct, having the right tools makes all the difference!

@@travis3341 I have the JD2 Model 4 hydraulic bender. It is a great bender but pales in comparison to the Model 54.

Greg Mowad The model 4 gets the work done too 😏

I'm the one that used to make those plane of bend brackets. Good job explaining tube bending and rotation using the directions from Bend Tech.

Captainfab406 Thats right! I definitely recognize your name. I love that little bracket lol.

When rotating the tube CCW or CW i'm assuming that is looking at the tube from the front coming out of the bender opposite the rotation gauge.Great video's Thanks Dean

@@travis3341 Thanks for getting back to me,got another question on the cutting wrappers i've been using bend-tech for about 12 years and still don't know what the rotation degrees on the wrapper is telling me what to do,you have any idea,i do all my copes in my bridgeport never got a good answer from the guy's at bend-tech.Ok Thanks and have a good Thanksgiving.

@@deanpurks7474 Hey there, Dean. I’m not sure that I fully understand the question actually. The cut wrappers do not display degrees of rotations but rather only dimensions. The rotation is built into each wrapper and is clocked on the tube appropriately by aligning the reference line with the center of the tube on the outside radius. Does that make sense? Again, I’m not sure if I am tracking your question so let me know.

travismadefab Hey Travis now that I think about it you might be right for example if you make an S Bend and it connects with a top tube and a bottom tube the bottom tubes is a 90° cope and the top is say 37° on a 37° rapper all by itself printed on the wrapper it’ll say rotation 180 I guess it’s telling meThat the wrapper or the bends are opposite 180° already figured in and they just print it on there for information never had any problems I’m just one of those guys that needs to know why all right thanks again. Thanks for sharing. Well done. I would love to see how you figure your cope angles and distances into your bending profile. Please.

Welder Sandblaster I use Bend Tech to calculate the various angles, rotations, copes, etc. Check out some of my other videos for reference! I’d love to make more but theres never enough time in the day lol
