      @@deanpurks7474 Hey there, Dean. I’m not sure that I fully understand the question actually. The cut wrappers do not display degrees of rotations but rather only dimensions. The rotation is built into each wrapper and is clocked on the tube appropriately by aligning the reference line with the center of the tube on the outside radius. Does that make sense? Again, I’m not sure if I am tracking your question so let me know.

      travismadefab Hey Travis now that I think about it you might be right for example if you make an S Bend and it connects with a top tube and a bottom tube the bottom tubes is a 90° cope and the top is say 37° on a 37° rapper all by itself printed on the wrapper it’ll say rotation 180 I guess it’s telling meThat the wrapper or the bends are opposite 180° already figured in and they just print it on there for information never had any problems I’m just one of those guys that needs to know why all right thanks again. For the cleaning of the tube. It is a great habit because if you bend with a metal shaving on the die it can put grooves in the die. This will transfer imperfections into future tubes.

    I've been following along with these tutorials you've made and I'm having one consistent problem. Every time I cope or miter, the part doesn't show any change. It just goes right through the other part. But my cut list seems to be showing the cuts correctly. Any ideas on how to fix that?

When I create pick points and have multiple pickpoints in my drawing...How can I see what I have set those pick points to be? If that makes since. For example, lets say I pick a point 20" ceiling and 4 inches back from the middle, then go to the right 20" and 4 inches to the ceiling and add other ones as well....I forget when I am drawing what I made those points to be in my example....How can I find out what those are?

    Excellent Video!! I have a question. I have a VW Sandrail, I am modeling the frame in BendTech Pro, so I can model changes I want to make. I'm having issues in getting accurate measurements off the frame into Bendtech. What do you think is the best method for measuring the frame? This maybe a very open question and I'm sorry about that. I just want to make sure when I redo the top of the rollcage that my A and B pillars line up with the body. Any help is appreciated.

      travismadefab I'll definately let you know if I think of an specifics I'd like to see. I've owned Bendtech EZ3D for quite a few years, but I'm currently building a cage for my SxS and decided it was time to upgrade to bendtech pro. I was having a hard time using the tri-star and figuring out how to actually find my pick points. Bendtech does a good job with their tutorials, but it wasn't until I watched your videos that it all really "clicked" in my head. Its one thing to see a tutorial of building the assembly in bend tech. Its another to see it using a real life example along side of it. I still have alot to learn, but I'm becoming alot more confident in using AND trusting the program.

    this is great, the bendtech tutorials are good as well, but it always helps seeing someone do it real time on a real project. I would love if you would be able to do one where you are offset bending. In other words, bending, then show what you use to get your rotation right before the next bend. Thanks again! liked and subscribed!

    • @travis3341
      @travis3341 6 років тому

      Consider it done!... and thanks for the awesome feedback! When you say 'offset' bending are you referring to a single part with multiple bends on different planes? I will get a new video worked up for that!

    • @tulsadave2003
      @tulsadave2003 6 років тому

      Yes Sir!, a single part with bends on different planes. I understand the concept, and am getting the hang of bend tech, however i'm not sure how i'm going to implement it in real life. I've considered a clamp block on the tube to reference my rotation degree angles, but I havent come up with a solution that is simple enough for me to not waste a bunch of tube.
