I’m suuuuper curious to know: were any of these nutrition tips new to you? If yes, which ones 🤓
I'm vegan since 1990 so no...☺
Yeah!! Learned a lot more new nutrition tips 🤓
What about Hummus and pepers combination...
Frankly speaking u seriously make me add new dishes to my diet .. ❣️
Try meileaf tea if u like tea so much, avoid teabag with tea dust
Anyone else have a major platonic crush on Sadia? I just wanna hang out in her kitchen and nerd out about beans! SO many great tips in this, made all the better with Sadia's warmth and gentleness ^_^
not just platonic, haha! She's so smart and lovely and gorgeous
Maybe not a crush, but she is definitely gorgeous, and seems like such a nice person!
yep GIRLCRUSH for sure. (ooh i love that song!)
I'm a gay dude and i may actually have a crush on her
@@user-oz1yv4nt9q ahahaa beauty mate! love that! NOBODY is immune to the POWER of Lovely SADIA!
The fact that a single red bell pepper contains thrice the vitamin c than a lemon was absolutely mind blowing😍
Also, eagerly waiting for your videos on minimalism😍
I'm Hungarian and here we all know about that paprika-fact since 5th grade but only because who "discovered" vitamin C (even got the Nobel-prize for that) was a Hungarian biochemist, Albert Szent-Györgyi. He made his research also with paprika. ^^
@@agnesschein7874 that's so cool! Wow! Thanks for sharing!😊
@@manaswitar.7185 my pleasure (to share unsought information) ^^
Yes, for people like me who don't like citrus at all...it really is insane. I might have to try this.
How many plants do you want in the shot?
Sadia : Yes.
A lot of this was new to me! I wish this was taught in school (I'm now 25!). I think it's so cool that you guys provide free resources for us when a lot of people would charge money 🙏🏻❤️
A tip: the water you use for rinsing the lentils and sterilizing the jars you could use it to water your plants instead of wasting it :)
Brilliant idea!
I use it that way everytime i wash my fruits and vegetables.
@@yoag1108 that's such a good idea! i'm definitely trying that next time lol
I would just like to point out how she starts the content straight away and saves the promotion for later. She's so mindful of her audiences needs ❤
Because of that, I still watch the promotions. They're usually interesting topics as well.
One tip to eat more iron: When you're making rice, swap out a third or half of the rice with brown or green lentils and cook them together. No effort but adds some more protein, nutrients and variety to your meals!
I do that, however, I don't cook rice but farro. I love the chewy, nutty texture and taste. I also add quinoa at times. Makes a great hearty grain combo.
Omg yes i do that when i eat kushari, it's a vegan Egyptian dish and i love it so much
Blue Print I looked up the dish, it seems very tasty, can’t wait to make it!
Do you have a specific recipe you’d recommend?
@@sandat8480 i think kushari will be delicious with any recipe because it's the same ingredient but, if you like spicy food you can hot sauce and make sure to squeeze some lemon!! And if you are adding the onions make them crispy ✨✨
@@blueprint2734 Thanks for mentioning this. I just looked up the recipe and it looks amazing. We will make this!
Beautifully filmed as always ☺️🎥 man, those boards are stunning!
We love your channel! 💯 the chili oil is a staple in our family now!
Your channel is awesome! I try loads of recipes from there
Need this collab!
Agreed ❤️
I love both yours and her channel. Some of my favorite vegan chefs.
I’m a Dietetics college student and you just explained it all better than my professors, lol😂❤️
Suggest to them to play this video in the classroom
This was a gentle reminder of who you are by profession.
Who is she by profession?
@@mjsajida Dietitian🌱
As a med student, I think I would enjoy going to class if you were my teacher
i love how these healthy nutrition hacks are only suggestions and are all about what to add to your diet instead of “no processed food bc it has too much sodium” or “you have to eat more leafy greens bc you’re not getting enough iron”
it’s very open which is very nice
how am I getting emotional over nutritional elements 😭❤️ Sadia's words and tone are so warming
Right? I just want to go hang out in her kitchen and be fed.
I would love it if she made an audio book
@@laiatezenas3300 totally!! She oughta work that Audible partnership! 😂
I just love the way you talk I could listen to you for hours 😊💕it feels like peace 😇
My thoughts exactly! :-)
Thank goodness she stopped vocal frying 💕
Yes🙏🏼
She doesn’t even have a regional accent in my opinion but her intonation or the rise and fall in how she speaks sounds so sing songy. I love her voice. She’s so charismatic
She spreads peace like butter... I'm so in love with this channel.. just so underrated and worth watching her spreading positivity❤️
Nut butter lol
This is awesome. I love the practical advice and examples, which is where I often get stuck is with actual combination examples. You rock!
Is it just me ; or Sadia looks happier😃 and more energetic than usual ❤
This woman’s voice is so soothing! I can listen to her speak all day 😎
I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I love how educational this channel is and encourages me to eat more veggies and be healthier ❤
I don't think I love any channel more than I love pick up limes. What you guys put out is sheer perfection.
I didn't even know sprouting is uncommon or like it's a trend rn. Lol My mom has been doing it since like forever. Love from India❤
Same! Moong daal salad is so tasty. I'd never considered cooking of them however.
Industrialized agriculture has made many old traditions unknown. I even brought whole wheat bread to school when I was a kid (in the US) and people thought it was weird lol....
My mom too and now me being a mothet,I do it too.
I would say that it is uncommon here in Europe at least
I think it is in the US, until recently when it became “trendy”
I loved this video! Very helpful in a practical way, rather than 'combine iron and vitamin c' and being left thinking 'yes but how'
So glad it was helpful, Irthe 🤗
@@PickUpLimes I've always thought it was common knowledge though. But glad you highlighted this for others anyway. Btw, can you please post alternatives to using soy proteins in your recipes? They all look so good. Also, is non-soy bean curd a good one? Thx.
Thank you for the great information! Most of these tips were new to me. I can’t wait to try sprouting 🌱
I just love those videos when you mix nutritional facts with practical tips. Perfect!
LOVED IT ALOT!!❤️❤️❤️
I really didn't know the Iron + Vitamin C combo! Thankyou for the tip. 💜
Being a medical student it's really great to know alot of these and very relatable too. Looking forward to more.❤️❤️
I feel so warm and cozy watching your videos. Just lay back and enjoy✨
More of these please! This was so neat, I was expecting to hear things I already knew, but a lot of this was totally eye opening.
Good information. we love the way to talk and expalin Sadia! 🙂
Do you have a podcast or is considering in creating one? I'd love to hear more of your personal perspective and i love your voice too!
Same here ,I would love listening to her calming voice.✨

Thank you so much for the video! I've been struggling with my iron intake in the last few weeks and this really helps me to eat more consciousely! Love from Switzerland❤
Amazing! Very very interesting and educational 😃 You should definitely make more videos like this, focusing on a particular vitamin, mineral or food and the benefits they have on our health👌
Your voice and aura is so calming! Thank you for all the information on nutritional healthy hacks.
This is so great! Thanks Sadia, I hope I can come to the Netherlands one day and meet you! Love from Toronto!
Great information on the sprouts. Would be interested in more recipes that include sprouts so they won't go to waste. Thank you!
Yes! I always make too much and have to end up tossing a little bit :(
Agreed. I just starting sprouting about one month ago and just add them to salads and sandwiches. I’m sure there are so many other ways to eat them.
Perfect music ,perfect voice and perfect video. 😍😍😍 such an lovely youtuber
“Food first - is always a good approach” . Love your content Sadia. So helpful and genuine

I LOVE ITTTT , ITS SO EDUCATIONAL AND YOU ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING , INSTEAD OF WASTING TIME
The iron and vitamin C tip was new to me! Love these informative videos too!
Please do more of this ..❤️ ..the following were new to me.
Tanins, cooking sprouts still retain minerals and not to cook vit c rich foods..
Your video production is awesome! Such an inspiration to my channel. 🙏
Thanks so much 💕
This was so gorgeous and so interesting! I felt like it was a classroom lecture but an amazing one! Thank you Sadia as always! This made my day better :)
Thanks for the video, this came really handy as I’ve just find out my iron levels are low, so definitely will follow the tips ❤️
Perfecto! I felt that I read a complete book.
This was so interesting. I've missed these nutrition fact based videos.
omg sprouting is SO CUTE, i love how they turned out. I dont think ive seen that. Thanks ♥
This was so kind of you to take the time to make and you made it so fun! Thank you so much for sharing the health and chemistry behind foods!
1)iron+vitamin c > iron+tannins
2)sprouting
3)selenium (Brazil nuts)
4)iodine (seaweed, iodised salt)
5)calcium (she has a dedicated video on that)
Have a beautiful time ahead everyone
Sending lots of love ❤
you too💕
I love this channel so much
Love seeing that you are still sprouting after all these years! I still use the mesh tops that I cut from that sheet you gave me! Great video as always Sadia 😀
Excellent video, I always learn so much from this channel! I’d love to see some videos that do a deep dive on topics like sodium, carbs/whole grains, etc, similar to the videos that have been done on sugars and fats. Very educational, thank you Sadia + team 🤗💛
Oooh absolutely, thanks for sharing your interest in topics like those, Kim 🤗
@@PickUpLimes Silly question: is the printable guide just for Iron, or is there a printable guide for everything covered in this video? Maybe I'm not seeing it? Thank you for your help!

Excellent job. Such a detailed and well-planned PDF. In love with your work all over again.
I’ve been waiting for an Iron absorption video for a LOOONNNGGGG timeeee!!! Thank you so much!
Love from Mexico! ❤
I'm definitely starting this "1 Brazillian nut a day" thing.
P.S: I'm always waiting for the bloopers in every video :'D
Love the information & it’s delivered in a beautiful, condemning way - thanks!
You are a pure healer. Thank you for existing in this world🌿💚🍃🌾
Didn’t know vitamin C helped absorb iron it reminds me of how black pepper helps absorb turmeric i wonder what other combos are out there...i did know about brazilian nuts being the best source for selenium but didn’t know it just takes one or two nuts wow!!! Also epsom salt baths is a great source of magnesium! Keep sharing tips and bam 💥 lol thx!
I just feel so happy to see your videos. I always have a big smile on my face. You are like my big sister that I always wanted.
i amm soo here for this! the experience and atmosphere you've set with that music in the background *chef's kiss* need you to get on a podcast! i lovee your soothing voice!
I love bell peppers and eat them lot, didn’t know about the vit c.
Of cours they have a lot vit c and parslay have even more
Pretty much anything that's acidic has vit. c in it. Like Strawberries too, etc.
Hello Sadia!! I am so glad I found your channel you’ve been such an inspiration to me I am 17 and I plan to go vegan soon! I was a huge meat eater and thanks to you I have made better life choices. Love from Oman 🇴🇲 ❤️❤️
Really love this kind of videos! Where you talk and is not just recipies.. Missing Tea Time Tuesdays!
This channel is an absolute delight.
how is your content effortlessly beautiful? I enjoyed watching this content, and your others, its truly inspiring! Thank you for this wonderful content! 💞🌱
for sprouting the easy way : tie them up in a piece of cloth and hang it over the sink. keep sprinkling water whenever you use the faucet. that's how we indians do mostly.
Sadia, would you use this idea?
Are bacteria levels higher?
@@Donna-C I don’t think bacteria would be higher, just make sure the cloth is very clean
@@Donna-C no. I am also an Indian
Your voice is so soothing and makes our mind so calm❤️
Great nutrition tips Sadia! Especially since it's so easy to follow and to apply these to your daily life. I should really try sprouting, it seems like fun!
The water drained every time into the sink can be used for watering plants.
That's actually not a good idea. Most of the time, this water contains worm, microbes and insects that can harm the plants...
@@hedwigfan6089 What do you think soil is??
@@RosesAndIvy it is actually a mixture of all the things that I have stated above but in a very less difused form. The logic is simple. You won't drink the water that is coming out of a water filter right. The contamination is simply high!!
@@hedwigfan6089 you are insane and very wrong
Love you. Just love you ❤️
This was so helpful! I like that you provide readily available options that people can apply to their everyday lives :)
This video was EXCELLENT!!! Seriously I've had recent iron issues so this couldnt have come at a better time. I learned so much from this video, I beg you to make more videos with this kind of info please so very helpful!!!
1:51 so true! We measured vitamin C in different vegetables and fruits in biochemistry lab.. turns out green bell pepper and cabbage had the highest amount of vitamin C!!
But when we cook them it goes away right??
@@user-ys6dr8ub2i not all ita normal for any food that are cooked
@@user-ys6dr8ub2i cook it the right way
@@user-ys6dr8ub2i Yes.. it will go.. due to thermal degradation..

I am really touched by the care you take in making your videos. the content is important but you not only make it beautiful but also very calming.
thank you very much for all of this.
I get a lot of help watching your videos for my nutrition class.. ❤
I love this! (Also: nuts are magical, I try having a handful of walnuts/pistachios before bed! Walnuts and pistachios in addition to their natural omegas also contain melatonin;the sleep hormone!)
I wanted to have some sprouts recently after watching your videos😅 now I know the secret
I needed this reminder. Thank you! Greetings from Italy
I love all of your videos, but these informative ones are my favourite! ♥️
Have you listen to the book “how not to die” it has quite a bit of wonderful information. I’m wondering if it backs up what you know already or if it contradicts other books from doctors
Her info on iodized salt & selenium is incorrect.
In Belgium the government decided that iodine should be added to bread, because everybody had this deficiency. So if you by bread in the store, you got your iodine
They did that in India by adding iodine in the salt in the 80s.
@@supercrazydesi in the Netherlands it is in table salt mostly too. It is slowly disappearing though
I think its nothing new. Salt and iodine are added to everything in this days, even to things you don't expeckt it
@@idakwiatkowska2862 No one said it was something new
Haha, I love geeking out over nutrition hacks! I knew a few of these already, but there were also some new ones. Thanks for the very practical tips!
This was a very helpful video! You are a very good teacher and broke it down so well!
