Yeah you’re right there for sure, we noticed this too but there’s been a handful of races where power to weight hasn’t really meant all that much for the 1/4 mile, so we decided to line the two of them up but in this case, power/weight ratio definitely prevailed :) Here’s a few good examples of races that have surprised us when looking at power to weight: Odyssey vs Caravan, the Odyssey loses on paper but squeezed out a win: ua-cam.com/video/uAQAJT_dNBc/v-deo.html Acura RDX Vs. 1.5 Turbo Civic. Civic still lost but it’s got a waaay lower power to weight. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a 2022 Honda Pilot Black Edition with a 2022 Kia Telluride! I am fairly certain the Honda Pilot will beat the Telluride...but...curious ;). These are some interesting races you are doing! Another I'd love to see is an Acura ILX VS Honda Civic Si of the same years :)
Too bad you're in Canada. It would be nice to let you drag race my 2017 Honda Accord V6 Coupe against a newer Accord 2.0T. That's a race I want to see so badly. (Also, against other vehicles, so I know who is faster/slower than me when I'm on the road lol.) But then, I live in Florida, USA.
Yeah that’s a race we really want to see (and are trying to organize) as well! We haven’t found either of those vehicles yet but it’s on our list! If you’re ever up this way let us know haha, thanks for the offer!
Thanks for your suggestion! We can’t do that race for the next video because we have to go find the cars first, then make a time to film and edit/upload, etc so the whole process can take a while. Finding the vehicles is the biggest challenge at times. But if/when we do find them, we are happy to get out there and film for sure, so thanks for your comment! We will do our best :)
The older non-turbo engines definitely! We'll see how these newer generation engines do over time. Although turbo's are a lot of fun, they usually come at the expense of higher maintenance costs and decreased reliability (in most cases). Was fun to see the Accord win the race though!
U guys saying because of the turbo it would be faster ....the turbo is better on a roll race ....u guys need to do roll races ....very disapointed ....
