David Peel started the Rock n Roll university .
A plan from which he and John Lennon had dreamed up !
    A free school in NYC.
To educate and voice the people in music and the arts.
Rock n Roll forever ~forever Rock n Roll.

Once we are financed and running I will be able to share all of the footage that remains from the original broadcast shows. So hang in there...

One thing Lennon didn't get about NYC was that it is always jam packed with wanna be non talented bullshit artists.....something I'm sure appealed to Yoko , since being around talented people she couldn't " control " would have revealed her own lack of talent and artistic abilities.....One thing she did have in common with John was the ability to string a few words together to give the impression she knew what she was talking about......in other words " the art of bullshit " ! And oh yes !...David Peel was one of those big mouthed ego trip bullshit artists that hung out in the parks of the city back in the late 60s early 70s...saw him many times down by the fountain in Central Park singing about "Marijuana " with that raspy voice.......some people think you just have to be seen.....but eventually your gonna have to show some actual abilities....David had none....nor Yoko for that matter....but she had John....a built in limelight !!!!

Actually, after leaving The Beatles John could go anywhere and not be mobbed. No one really cared about his solo "celebrity". He went to LA with May Pang, travelled the world mostly alone on those trips Yoko was always sending him on, Bermuda, and had no problem -- if he was even recognized. Yoko just wanted to isolate him from his family. friends, support network in the UK. That's what narcs do.

Seems like anyone who got near Lennon gets their 7.5 minutes of fame (discount on Warhol’s generous allowance…) and for almost all, they pale in the light. This “park performer” is no different. You get a moment of the Beatle laser beam of fame and that’s all you got? Sheesh!

This video proves Lennon was a musical genius. I've listened to that guy Peel and I'll be damned if I can hear anything but a tin-ear leeching off a celebrity. Whatever Lennon saw in Peel is beyond me, but he must've had something to deserve the Beatle's attention. Me? I'd rather listen to Yoko.

John Lennon loved the Underdog, Successful people bored him. John Lennon was real and was a regular great talented guy. He knew Yoko's so called friends were hustlers but he had so much money he didn't care. Jerry Rubin and Abbie Hoffman were pretty smart but not smarter than John. John just wanted to be a regular guy in New York and he loved that nobody really hasseled you in New York. If he wanted to go out for coffee he would go out for coffee. He could not do that in England. RIP John Lennon and George Harrison.
