I enjoy videos that show the 'hiccups' that often occur. It helps us to understand the process much better. Your demonstration was fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
I have found when making this...using a plastic bag (cut open) under the project...it separates when it's dry SO SO much easier... I love these napkins!!! So pretty
Those are gorgeous!!!!!!! These would be so expensive if you were to buy them in a boutique. Our holidays were small and quiet--very nice. I'm knitting socks these days, and I'm about to start some dishcloths because we're totally out of the "good ones." I received my Happy mail today. Thanks so much. Bev
It helps to go around the edges after the napkin is covered with the glue mixture and with the paintbrush push the edges in a little, creating a raised edge all around. This makes the peeling off much easier.
I just dampen, not wet, my fingers a little bit and then stick them in the corners one on top one on the bottom and pinch and pull away real quick and the Plies come off

Thank you so much Davon. I'm so glad that I was able to inspire you even just a little bit.

Oh good Beverly. I'm so glad you got it.
I love doing this . I like that you made them transparent
You can also use those destroyed plys! Just moisten your thumb and finger to separate those plys.
Thank you so much for the tip on just moistening my fingers I really appreciate that.

Thanks so much Vania. They are fun to make and use in journals.
Great tutorial- Any idea why mine seem to get more crunchy, not nearly as pliable as others I’ve seen. Thank you🥰
I’m not sure. Do you use Mod Podge?
Use freezer paper, shiny side!!!!!
I'll try this next time. Thanks

You can put a smidge of glue or mod podge on your fingers to help seperate the plies as well.
