Awesome thanks! If you then select the text box that you turned into a link and move the box, does it also remove the link? It seems like that is what happened when I rearranged some links but it doesn't appear to be consistent so I'm not exactly sure what happened. Like some links still appear to be in the same place that the text box was but others arent and I'm not sure what I did differently.

That is an interesting question! I just tested it out and when I move the text box, the link does move with it. I'm not sure what would cause the inconsistency you are experiencing. I encourage you to report the issue to Adobe if you think it could be a software glitch, in case others are facing the same problem. I wish you all the best with your PDF project!

@erinwrightwriting after I asked that I noticed too that 2 links moved with the text boxes. I had to rearrange an alphabetical list to fit other items in, and most of the links seemed to stay in the original place the text box was in, some were just gone altogether, and 2 moved with the text boxes. Haha I don't know but this was helpful to know what it should be doing to see what I may be doing wrong. Thanks so much!

Hello. I am trying to create a link in my PDF. I have tried to highlight several areas with the cross cursor, but it never highlights or selects the area. Please let me know what else I can do. Is there a setting that I need to turn on or off?

Thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately, I can't be sure what is causing your issue. However, if you can reach the step where the cross cursor appears but then it doesn't select anything, you may be facing a glitch rather than an errant setting (assuming you can still make other changes to the document.) If you are an Acrobat subscriber, I encourage you to reach out to Adobe for assistance in case it is a known problem others are also reporting. Good luck!
