    Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. i saw him numerous times he was amazing he was not only my friend but a big brother as well. I never will get over his death it haunts me everyday seeing him in video's dancing and singing breaks my heart because i know he is not here anymore my mind understands but my heart never will, i saw him a few weeks before he passed he said kiddo everything will be okay i said E. nothing will ever be okay again, i was crying so hard he gave me a little kiss on the cheek and said i love ya kiddo always remember that okay i said love ya too E. that was the last time i saw my friend alive again. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. Anyway i loved your reaction i hope you will watch more of his music videos love from Memphis Tn.

      God bless you, sir. I know that kind of grief, from losing a family member, which he obviously is/was to you -- my mother died several years ago and I haven't been the same since. That kind of grief doesn't go away in seven convenient little stages! I'll say a prayer for you. All my best.

    Elvis had a routine with his drummer who watched Elvis every second and anytime Elvis moved a certain way or even twitched the drummer was supposed to do something on the drums to respond - of course it always triggered the women as well.

    When I was about 11 years old Elvis came to Largo Md. several years in a row and performed at the Capital Center. He stayed at a hotel in New Carrolton (don't remember which one) When he did, the PG county police were his body guards. My mother worked with a woman whos brother was on that detail. She gave her brother a camera and asked him," if you can get some pictures do so". After the concert when Elvis came up into the room her brother asked if he could take some pictures and he said yes. ( He was very kind hearted) So I have copies of about 5 personal posed (some karate poses) pictures of Elvis in his hotel room. It was after his concert and he's a little sweaty and tired but they are still pretty awesome.
    Another side note, my mother offered each kid to go with her to see him. and when my turn came up my choice was to see Elvis or go to wrestling...............well..............I chose wrestling.......Okay okay...........I know... I know....stop yelling at me..........lol....... In my defense, I didn't think he was going to pass away. I just thought, "Heck, I'll go next year.......but sadly that year never came..... Just thought you might be interested in this story.

      @TCBElvisAPresley No, all I have is pictures on my phone that I took of the photographs. Just because I have had to prove to some people that my story is true. I get it though. I wouldn't believe this story either. If you can figure out a way for me to either text or email, I would be willing to do so.

    //// many firsts......
    first live album.... worldwide audience.... multi platinum.... first recorded in quadraphonic, all to reaches #1 on billboard and go Multi Platinum. Hard enough today, now try doing that with 1973 figures, audience & arena sizes, all without an internet for an immediate hit record!

    Jayy, this is the first video of yours that I've viewed -- great video, LoL you are really cute and very funny! Did you know that Elvis did a full "dress rehearsal" concert, complete with a live audience, two days prior to this? Broadcasting live via satellite was still pretty new, and so they decided the better have a backup in case something were to go wrong with the live feed.
    Anyway, as a lifelong obsessed Elvis fan, I'm happy to inform you (if you didn't already know lol) that the performance of *_Fever_* from the _dress rehearsal_ concert contains one additional verse! For years, the dress rehearsal video was kept away from the public. There were low-quality copies you could get that I doubt were totally 100% proper, as in it was probably being sold by pirates...but...ahem, I owned a VHS copy for awhile.
    So if you're looking for your ultimate _Fever in Hawaii_ experience, check that one out!
    (When I first got to view the rehearsal, and noticed that Fever had an extra verse, it was like finding the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant! lol...)
    _One other little piece of trivia about the rehearsal -- when Elvis watched it back later that night, he was appalled at the way his hair looked! So he called his personal hairstylist, Larry Geller, in Memphis (I guess he was in Memphis...) and asked him to immediately fly out to Honolulu to fix his hair prior to the live broadcast two days later!_

    He was goin through the separation & eventual divorce here. She made one mistake & that was thinking she could change him. That's not how it works, she knew what she was getting into & wanted him to throw his career away and turn him into the family man 'she' envisioned. You can't change people and mold them into something else in a relationship....it's give & take, 2 way road. Elvis did his best, did he make mistakes....yeah but so did she for sure. She knew what she was getting into & found out that's not how life works. He never stopped loving her, blamed himself for everything......he was so dominant yet so vulnerable.

    You know Priscilla fell in love with Elvis when he met her in Germany and she was just 14 Halo Couture Graceland when she was 16 and Mariner 21 I'm saying we're married about 7 years I believe but Elvis could not be faithful to one woman that was proven throughout the years but I do believe that Priscilla was the love of his life because once you have a bond like Lisa Marie and Elvis and Priscilla I think all of the women was second to her I do know that she has said that he called her a lots of times years after they were divorced and there was a possibility that they could get back together if he could only get his life straight and I believe I believe what she says I know he lived with Linda Thompson for four years and the woman that he was engaged to supposedly for 9 months Ginger Alden all of the Elvis Mafia of me and said that Elvis have said to have them that he wasn't ever getting married again it was already getting cold feet about the wedding so he passed away before the wedding could happen I probably would not have happened but I do believe that Priscilla still loves him to this day someone asks the other day why does she still carry the name Presley because she never remarried and unless you want to take her maiden name back legally you usually go by your husband's last night and she did have a son my man about three or four years or maybe later after Elvis died but she never married him so she has that son Witcher has siblings Tulisa half brother his name is never wrong laces half brother's name is never on and then I know she lost Lisa lost her son recently we all know so that leaves her with can't lose her son yes she did lose a son that lives there with her daughter the sister to that son and then twin daughters who is married to Michael Jackson for 2 years but there was no children so husband ever won no Elvis was husband number no Elvis was her father I'm getting crazy here but she had to cancel the first husband none with Michael and then twin girls with Michael right Lockwood who they live in England and they're divorced and he's a a hoe because he Scott partial custody of the twins send he fights her every time she wants to come to the u.s. and bring the girls or bring them to Graceland for Christmas they still celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving just like if Elvis was there and her husband doesn't want the girls like photographed in the media and everything for their pictures of already been in the media so what's the big deal I wish you could get rid of and come back home to Graceland that's where she belongs AKA Elvis Junkie oh I forgot after she was married to Michael Jackson she was married to Nicolas Cage for 2 months I got a bad neck so that makes one two three four husband one that she has now it's the one she's divorced from an England and every time she wants to bring the children to Graceland defiles quartzite saying she can't take him out of the country then she has to deal with that sometimes she wins and sometimes she don't Laura Baxley
