I wanna solo travel there but I’m nervous about it. It looks lonely e.g. eating by yourself in a restaurant. I’m hoping that I would just enjoy my company and try to connect a bit with locals. But as an Introvert/ someone with social anxiety, that’s easier said than done. It would be cool to hear about interactions with others, speaking Japanese and how you deal with that.
i solo travelled for the first time ever around europe this year and it was so so fun, i decided to hike around switzerland for my next solo trip in 2025. Thanks for inspiring other girls out there to give solo traveling a try!
really cool vlog!! I did a solo trip last May to Japan and these vlogs are bringing back all the memories omg. the tim hortons watter bottle was very relatable lol
Another question 🥹 I’m debating if I should stay near Kyoto station or Gion, the main reason why I want to stay in Gion is because I’m planning to wake up as early as 3:30AM to go to Ninenzaka & Kiyomozudera lol because apparently now even at 5AM there are a lot of people 😢 so my question is the next one, if I stay near the station how did you manage to go that early to Ninenzaka if buses start running at 6AM (per google)? Are there taxis at that time?
Immaculate and ethereal are not even strong enough words to describe the experience you’ve had! Doesn’t it make you wanna live in Japan full time? Like migrate permanently? 😅 ps: loved your video, hope to see more!
It was amazing! Honestly the rural areas are so beautiful and peaceful I would consider the move 😂 but I could sense the underlying intense hustle culture in Tokyo so maybe not there haha. Thanks for the wonderful comment!
Thanks! I didn't have enough time to hike more intensively, but you could climb to the very top of Fushimi-Inari (which I didn't do) or I heard that the Kurama to Kibune hike is fantastic (2-3 hours with great views)
Wow just subscribed! I clicked on this video because I’m going to Japan in September with my cousin but your vibe and video style is actually amazing so I can’t wait to support your future videos!! 🩷🩷

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good, but thanks to the rain the greenery was beautiful. Japan is a safe place for women to travel alone.

It was just the river on the way to the monkey park! Don’t know what it’s called…but you’ll pass by it no matter what if you’re getting to the park :)

Could you do at the end of the Trip a haul from everthing you bought? 😋❤️
