I'm going to Japan in November and I invested in 2 NB sneakers (the 2002NR's and the 530) to break them in before my trip and they are the most comfy and cushiony shoes to wear in Japan.
been waiting for this one!! Such great tips :D
I recently subbed a few days ago, your videos are great! You're super nice and pretty :). Love how your trying to help others! Also your editing skills are so good, better than most youtubers I've watched! Keep doing what you're doing, your amazing!
Loved this, thanks for sharing.
Can’t wait for the Korea videos!
Enjoying your Japan solo trip-lifestyle talk vlog!!!!
Wow really nice video
日本に来てくれてありがとうg!:) hope u had a great time here:)
Thank you for the Tips I will really keep it in mind we’re going. To Japan in Autumn
Ahh thank you for this video! I said this on another video but I’m going to Japan with my cousin in September and we’re really going hard with preparing so this was so helpful! One thing we’re stuck on is the phone situation (sim/pocket wifi/coverage etc)!
@@Taylor.Nicole should definitely get an esim if your phone allows! definitely the easiest option and works very well. no need for carrying a pocket wifi around and taking up space in a bag 💪 I used Ubigi during my trip
@@kchovlogs thank you!! I’ll look into it 🩷🩷
Interesting tips. I've traveled mainland twice (4 times Okinawa, then went flew to Tokyo 2 of those times). My flights usually took me to Haneda, so the closest station was Shinegawa and I went from there. I avoided staying in the big cities, I don't mind the commutes and I don't plan staying until 12am and risk missing my train. In Osaka/Kyoto region, I found Himeji was cheapest. In Tokyo area, I stayed in Yokohama. And yeah, tourist hot spots you need to go super early if possible, to avoid the tour buses. If you like monkey parks, check out Nagano and the one in Beppu on future trips.
These videos are so helpful, thank you so much!! I can’t believe you have to buy a coin bag 😭😭
I mean you could just bring a ziplock bag or your own zip wallet from home but I think it’s a cute option instead of those Amazon organizers 😭

I’m going to Japan and then Korea too! I’m a little nervous traveling between two foreign countries - did the flight over go smoothly?
@@miyukiy3695 yes it did! a lot of signage at their airports made it easy :)
How much did you pay for those sneakers 🥹💕 I’m going in October, and don’t know if should I buy them here or over there. Thanks for all the tips!!!
@@bymissybee omg best question!! it was good value for me to buy my 530s in Japan because in Canada it’s about $130-$140 CAD, and in Japan I bought it for $90 CAD!
@@kchovlogs OMGGG that would be like $65 in the US - and here they cost $99 + taxes 😳 Will definitely wait until I’m there.
Thanks girl 💕
How did u find using the different train lines? Was a JR pass used for your Japan trip?
Also did you buy a e-sim or pocket wifi?
All great questions!
1. Train lines are quite easy to follow in my opinion using Google maps! The station numbers and colours you see inside the actual stations match up with what you see on Google maps, so it’s very intuitive.
2. I didn’t buy a JR pass because it wasn’t worth it 😭 search up “JR Pass calculator” on Google to see if the trips you plan to take will make the pass worth it for you.
3. E-sim! I used Ubigi as I found it slightly cheaper than some of the other options available out there. Airalo is another popular option but it’s about the same in connectivity quality for a more expensive price
@@kchovlogs thank you so much!!! keep up with the travel content! 👏🏻
This video is very good.
I am a creator who introduces Korea.
Once again thanks for all your tips! Really looking forward to my own trip next month and this helps a lot! 🫶💫
