What internet service did you get in Japan and how did you get it?? thank you so much for the tips i love your vlogs!!
@@treeko3 I got Ubigi eSIM and it’s an app you download! You just make sure your eSIM setting in you phone is turned on, and follow the rest of the steps outlined by Ubigi to implement the data. Thanks so much for watching my vlogs! ☺️
how was the weather like ?
Did you change your camera settings at all on your iPhone? The quality is amazing and I would love to create something similar!
love your vlogs!!! wondering if you could share where you get your bgm from? 🥰
i also lived ib this hotel in tokyo soooo nostalgic
"Tokyo looks amazing! Your solo travel vibes are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing this adventure! 🗼✨" Fyi.
I wanna solo travel there but I’m nervous about it. It looks lonely e.g. eating by yourself in a restaurant. I’m hoping that I would just enjoy my company and try to connect a bit with locals. But as an Introvert/ someone with social anxiety, that’s easier said than done. It would be cool to hear about interactions with others, speaking Japanese and how you deal with that.
this was so helpful thank you!!!!
idk why i died laughing when you went back for yet another strawberry mochi on your last day lol
Dude I love your editing style, and music.. *Chefs kiss* sooo good. You're my new favorite youtuber 🤘🤘
@@BrandoMizuno thank you for the kind words!!
i really love your vlog!! made me so excited to go in Japan!! May I know where is the crib?? or was just that an expression or that's the exact name of the place? hahaha
haha crib is just an expression for where I’m staying! The hotel was called Hotel Risveglio
i solo travelled for the first time ever around europe this year and it was so so fun, i decided to hike around switzerland for my next solo trip in 2025. Thanks for inspiring other girls out there to give solo traveling a try!
you saying this too is inspiring me to solo travel! my need to adventure is outweighing my anxiety lol
I was wondering if you remember the name of the hotel in Kyoto
nvm I saw it during my rewatch lol I'm hopeless kkkk
seus vlogs são únicos, seguidora nova 💗
your videos are really informative, i appreciate it!! do u have any advice around avoiding tourist scams? like tax free stuff, unnecessary tourist items?
Great song choice! Odoriko is definitely one of my favorite songs
I'm planning my first solo-trip to Japan in Jan 2025, also planning to spend 2 weeks but only going to be in Osaka and Kyoto area. I watched all your JP vlogs and feel like I have similar vacation vibes. Did you enjoy Kyoto or Osaka more? Which area do you feel like you should have allocated more time to explore? Thanks!!
Hi!! I liked Kyoto more - I really liked how peaceful it is and has more of a historic, old charm to it, which made the city more special to me compared to more urban cities like Osaka and Tokyo. I actually have been saying to people I wish I transferred one of my Osaka days to Kyoto. The Gion district in Kyoto was so lovely and there was so much to explore and eat! I wish I spent more time there as I kind of rushed a bit to hit all the major spots within 3 days. Hope you enjoy Japan, it's so fun!
@@kchovlogs Thanks!!
Hi I am Thai people. While your Vlog is truly wonderful, I would like to give some real information about Elephant in Thailand. Well, first of all, Thank you for trying to be a responsible tourist but unfortunately, most of the information about Thai elephant on the internet written by.....WHITE PEOPLE......is a myth. In reality, there are only two categories of elephants in Thailand: domestic and wild elephants. For domestic ones, they have been with us and bred within the households for many centuries so they cannot survive in the wild just like domestic dogs. On the other hands, it is illegal to capture elephants from the wild and it is very hard to tame one so we no longer do it for centuries. Domestic elephants are taken care by mahouts who need to be trained and pass standardized tests before handling one. It's important for elephants to learn some basic commands and can be controlled for the safety of humans and the animals themselves. As it's responsible for a dog owner to leash their dog so it doesn't run off and bite someone, it's also necessary to use chain and hook on elephants in order to make sure that it won't harm somebody including the mahout. However, they are not kept in the cage like prisoners as they get sometimes to relax together with the mahout in the forest. In many self proclaimed elephant sanctuaries, mahouts are killed frequently by the elephants and the news is suppressed so it doesn't affect the donations. Moreover, they only let the nonaggressive ones roam freely while keeping the aggressive ones in the cage which is equal to life sentence. As elephants are a part of our culture and we are taught to respect them as a family member, we know how to handle elephants better than some....ENTITILED NGOS.....who don't even have one in their countries. From what I have seen so far, many of them raise donations by acting like saviors, posing pictures and spread lies on the internet while getting easy money and know nothing about elephants( some involved with human trafficking and transnational crimes). Moreover, we have animal welfare law and many standardized organizations which really care about the wellbeing of elephants such as Thai elephant alliance, Thai Elephant Conservation Center in Lampang and etcs so we know what we are doing and can take care of ourselves. About elephant tourism in Thailand, riding elephant is not considered as abusive if they carry suitable weight which is 15% of their body weight and not overworked. If westerners can ride a horse, riding an elephant with proper limit is fine too. This goes the same for elephant performing tricks as long as they are taught by positive reinforcement just like how dogs are trained. You know it's not easy to force big and smart animal to do things they don't want to. On the contrary, many sanctuaries are against chaining and riding elephants which results in the death of the mahouts and the death of the elephants in emergency situation such as flash flood because they cannot control the elephants. Well, I cannot say that all of them are ethical but Suan Nong Nuch is fine as the elephants as they care about the elephant welfare. The elephant there are well fed and provide proper healthcare by the vets. It's such as shame that correct information is moslty in Thai I hope that they will do something about it in the future...
Here is the reference from Asian Elephant Foundation of Thailand, please stop spreading misinformation. Here, we have standards and real elephants. : drive.google.com/file/d/1KudqQl4FHulnVLYUm3JawT9hJtM9HVWs/view?usp=sharing

Did you use some sort of tripod in Arashiyama or did you just ask another earlybird person? :D
Hey! I used an Amazon portabel tripod but honestly it kept toppling over, highly recommend this one though from Kraft Geek - got it recently and I found that it's a lot sturdier and also portable! kraftgeek.com/en-ca/products/kraftgeek-vlogging-selfie-stick-tripod-216?ref=KRISTEN&+for+216+Max&Kristen+Cho
Did u feel lonely when you were there? Ngl I’m on day 3 of Japan and I’m so lonely that it’s hard for me to want to explore.
Are you still on trip and feel lonely? How did you overcome it? Will be having my first solo trip there:”)
@@venyzulviana4434 No, im not on my trip anymore. I actually couldnt handle being alone there so I booked a flight home and left on day 4 ahaha but maybe you'll have a better experience than me when you're there!

fellow vlogger here and I struggle so much with choosing the music too 😭 But omg, found this video on my recommendations page and it felt like fulfilling my own Korea dreams - even the 1million dance class like??? Excited to watch more of your content, definitely a new sub 💗
i have another question, did you prop your phone somewhere to take pics of yourself or did you offer someone to help you?
Hi! I used a portable tripod to take pics of myself - it was so handy to use I rarely asked people to take a photo me (I also wanted to take my time so I could get the perfect photo haha)

very chill, soothing vlog. having to work for the rest of your life seems very daunting but also think about all the great opportunities and experiences you will get - with your coworkers and clients and all that. you'll come around to it eventually, no need to sweat it, or sweat the fact that you are sweating it. i've been there! can't say i still don't think the same way sometimes but it gets better. good luck!! rooting for you!!
