    I just bought this off a friend. It is by far my best of 7 gain pedals I own. It went right to the top of the list. Ace pedal

      Totally agree, it's insanely good! Once you get it dialed in with your rig, it's such an amazing sound and responds in a very amp-like way.

    Sounds great! The design with blending the soft and hard clipping reminds me of the Fulltone Plimsoul which is another really great drive.

    Just found this. I've been using two amps for the reasons mentioned for years and I do the same with two pedals. An old Reverend Drive Train that only sounds OK on its own but is amazing when you stack a more full range/scooped OD into it. I did something right! :-)

      Is your pedal Drivetrain I or Drivetrain II? Just curious, have had both. Kept DTII, louder more mids. Interested in the Thorpy Gunshot.

      Thorpy released version 2 which is in a much smaller enclosure. This v1 pedal is quite large (I've got one).

    • @rsconnor01
      @rsconnor01 9 років тому

      zamircaleb Collings 290 DC S. They're out of Austin Texas. Ive got a few Collings (electric and acoustic) and they're one of the best medium-sized guitar builders out there.

    great sounding pedal... but I am just a little curious about the compressors being on or are they off? Looks like you may have all three on, if so why are the three on?

      I think the whole pedals are in programmable switch there, that's why they are on. Not necessarily in the signal path.
