Very nice, Amber! The weave of the hessian itself and the ribbon weave are both really effective textures. Where are you from? …just noticed you mentioned Bunnings in a reply. I’m in Australia and we love Bunnings!😊
Hi again Erica. I’m across in WA. How about you? I’m glad you liked the video. That hessian weave makes a really interesting print doesn’t it! The print has gone into my stash. I’ll be interested to see what it becomes in the future. Everyone finds their perfect place in a collage sooner or later! 😉 🤭
@@AmberBennisonArtI’m from Sydney. I’ve never been to WA but I would truly love to… so much natural beauty. We recently had family friends moved there… they absolutely love it. I’d like to see where the weave print ends up too😍
Thanks Sam. Generally you can get hessian in craft or fabric shops. It may be sold as a larger piece that you could cut into strips yourself. The hessian I used, actually came on a roll. I bought it in a DIY Hardware store (Bunnings). It was sold for securing trees to stakes! So you’ll probably find it in garden centres too.
So fascinating to watch!! great technique!
Thanks Colleen, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
👍🏼 very cool Amber!
😎 - thanks for watching. Look out for the next one 😜
Great effect
Thank you. Yes, you can really see the weave.
Very cool!!
Thanks. It’s a fun process. 😎
