Great video! Tip for anyone trying to do this: Remove any ad block extension, otherwise Meta won't detect the pixel on your URL and you will not be able to set up the event. When I pasted the URL on the events manager the link would open and then Meta would say they couldn't find any Pixel, but as soon as I turned off my ad block extension it worked immediately.

I didn't like to look at that plugin either, although it was the one recommended by FB, too. I used "Pixel Manager for WooCommerce" and it works just fine.

To create an event for a conversion to trigger for a purchase requires a URL pattern rather than a static URL since the url changes order to order. It would be helpful to not only add this information but to explain how to format the url. So yeah, good stuff until about 10 minutes in.
Would there be a difference when running lead magnet ads going to a landing page. I track the download button instead of the thank you page. Is there a difference?

Ben a huge question I have with setting up the 'add events' is WHY? Without doing this the pixel seems to register these events just fine..? Does it make it more accurate for some reason?
Pixel event set up will track only no. Of times people are viewing your content but if you want to track specific tabs on your website you have to set up those events to track how many people have actually clicked on those tabs for e.g. you wanted to track no. Of purchases or leads on your website then you have to set up those events otherwise pixel won’t be able to track those actions and in turn you won’t be able to run any high intent campaign on the platform. Hi, great videos, I am learning quite a bit! This tutorial touched on an issue I'm trying to resolve. I recently set up my girlfriend's Shopify store and am using the internal "Facebook and Instagram" setup in Shopify admin. I've been able to connect the store to Meta Business Suite, and it seems Shopify has as part of that setup already created a Meta pixel for the store. I am getting some traffic reports via this pixel. However, do we need to create a separate one to manage events on the store site, or is this built-in pixel that comes with Shopify pack in all the events we likely might need? Just not clear about whether the Shopify pixel as already configured is enough or whether there is any more to do. Thanks.

With one business manager you can manage all of your pages. And you must have a separate pixel for your every website.
