Can anyone tell if these Christmas cakes can be made with Jaggery also instead of Refined sugar.
Refined sugar causes sugar spike.
For diabetes people it will be good to have Jaggery , alteast once in a year then can taste christmas cake.

Yes jaggery can be used. But jaggery and white sugar both contain sucrose which causes insulin spikes. Hence both are not good for diabetic patients.
