Hot Walk in a Pine Forest

- This was a nature walk with an unexpected and unwanted surprise. The pine forest at North Post on Trinidad's Northern Range is for some an easy mini hike and is a place to visit in Trinidad with historical significance and lovely sea views. Amid the pine trees there is a feeling of serenity, of being away from it all. That was the purpose for this short hike but either man or nature partly took away that pleasure.

I always learn something when I come to your channel. I never knew about this place, and it is a lovely trail at that. You went far, I am so cautious (aka cowed 😅) that I was turning back at the first sight of bush fire 🔥 safety first😜 but I am happy you got out safely. Looking forward to your next video.

Things like this happen sometimes and although I did not get exactly what I wanted, I am thankful for what I got.

What possible motive could they have for setting that fire?
Its not like they going to to start farming there or plop down an apartment complex there.
Not doubting your word or anything but what possible motive could they have.
@@gerardjagroo I have wondered the same thing, although there are squatters further along the ridge.
Unfortunately there are no natural forest fires in T and T. This is purely the actions of man either intentional or accidental. it is a bloody curse on our environment. If enforcement of laws and fines were levied, this could be an income earner for the government because there are fires all over the place every day unfortunately. The loss of habitat and biodiversity, not to mention the increased potential for flooding and loss of life and reduced air quality are some of the negative results of these fires. Sorry it spoiled your walk.
Although I did not get to walk as much as I wanted, I still enjoyed what I got.
