The "Legend destination" is the perfect place to bring back the Menagerie, i didn't have the opportunity to play too much pf it, but I absolutely loved it

It was awesome, but I can say for myself I wouldn't play it if it were in the game again now. It just left and could get repetitive. The Season was great, Menagerie alone was fantasic but like any seasonal activity, you can only play it so much.
If they reworked the nightfall loot system to work the way it did in the menagerie but with a weekly rotation of loot I would be beyond hyped for witch queen
Menagerie will always have a special place in my heart because of how fun it was and the ease of play when my friends and i didnt have to try as hard as in a raid

my friends told me it was very hard so i held off on it for so long and when i did do it i had no idea what i was doing and never really played it again
The hole sunsetting is a joke. I miss so much weapons on now with the grandmasters there a so much weapons missing when you'd like to match the mods. And you farmed them all in the past but you can't use them. It goes everytime I play Destiny on my nerves
yackfou2412 The fact you can't seem to find any relevant weapons is likely your fault rather than the game's, since literally everyone else doesn't have a problem with this
@@okruma625 I believe that you haven’t farmed for the awesome godroll weapons, then sunsetting came along, and made those weapons be completely useless
I think, assuming they don't bring it back in the Legend Destination, as has already been suggested, one good Menagerie equivalent they could pull could take some inspiration from this Season. Specifically, the ability to forvefully enter Vex spaces using the Splicer gauntlet. Imagine that we get a call, an unknown but unusually potent Vex sim, perhaps located on Europa somewhere. We enter the sim, and it's a bunch of sims of various now-Vaulted locations and events, with those events acting as the equivalent to Menagarie's stages. They could be slightly modified versions of Public Events and Seasonal Activities that are now gone. Imagine going from a single-tower variant of Escalation Protocol, to a slightly modified Contact, to one of the phases from the Sundial, and so on and so forth. The bosses could, in turn, be from some of these events, such as the EP bosses, etc, mixed with some original bosses for the mode. The lore of the mode could be us routinely enterring the sim to disrupt it, and thus prevent the Vex from getting useful data, with the original bosses being cornerstones of the sim, plus with a similar loot system that gives us some loot from those events and activities, mixed with some new originals for the mode to keep things fresh. I think this would probably be the most likely form of such an equivalent so long as Bungie remain unwilling to dedicate either the manpower to make something quickly, or the time to make something with fewer people, as much of the work has already been done. A lot of the assets for the activities you'd be performing are already made up, with only some tweaking necessary to compensate for the different mode's rules. They've already got most of the bosses for such a mode, needing only a few originals, thus significantly cutting down on that workload. Finally, not only does the same apply to the loot, but minimal editing is required to get the Chalice-equivalent working - change the item, slightly alter the UI, change the currency it works with and the rune-equialent, and then make a few additionaly changes to seperate it from the Chalice.
You also remember that the artifact seasons were still in at the time, meaning the barrier that the hydra was in that it hides in could still be shot at, meaning it had no invulnerability phase if everyone had them.
I remember school ending on the day when season 7 released and going onto Destiny at the end of school. So much fun in the menagerie and watching the day 1 crown of sorrow. One of the best moments of Destiny 2. I will forever miss season 7.
Hey Evan. I have not yet watched this video but I will get to it. Dude Managerie was and still is my absolute favorite time in Destiny at least for me, and I still remember I missed the first entire week because we didn't had internet but when I got my internet back, man I grinded so much and it was the best time I've ever had in Destiny, and my favorite was also the gauntlet. And the Austringer was and still is my favorite hand cannon in the game
I farmed this activity so much during season of the arrivals and the season of the seraph. I really wanted my god roll beloved but I never got it in end. I could've probably gotten it before sunsetting, but when I heard that sunsetting was coming it kinda ruined my passion of the game and trying to farm good rolls on some guns. I wish they'd put all the phased out 6 man seasonal activities into a playlist, where you're given a choice of three different activities to vote on to play each round. Maybe instead of a loot focusing thingy, there could be a currency that's used like spoils alongside the normal chest(s)
I kinda want to see the menagerie come back with the menagerie-specific loot refreshed and the rest of the slots filled with old loot they might decide to bring back and refresh, and the non-menagerie-specific loot could rotate. Throw old seasonal weapons in there, for example. Desire and a purple rune could give a spare rations, Slot in Wealth and a red gives you Perfect Paradox.

The menagerie was so amazing. I miss my Epicurean god roll.
Menagerie is by far my second most favourite PvE activities with Raids being on top
I still mourn over my fallen parcel of stardust... really miss that Shotty
I was still search for qd + opening shot combo that light.gg listed, run a thousands of menagerie, but apparently it was a myth and it got sunsetted.
@@tompramanaaccount8892 none of the gambit weapons could drop their" curated" rolls so they were locked out of some of their best combos
"want to approach the boss with tractor cannon? yeah, good luck" *proceeds to use tractor cannon on the boss and survives*
Altar of sorrow is basically a boss rush in itself.
