hi i have phoenix contact power supply support IO link and link to my SMC air regulator which is act as IO link and then EIP back to my PLC , my problem is , is IO can plc can read all information such as voltage consumption and air consumption through plc eds file instead of just browse the IP of io link read the value or data there only ? i want read into eds for some io details then i want put those data on my hmi such power usage , amp , voltage or more ? can io link do like this , instead or just get IO into eds files ?

Hi everyone doesn't use eds files in the same way as Ethernet/IP. I'm leaning about it right now myself
