One of my fav Kimi performances during those Lotus years. Singapore 2013 is truly fascinating in retrospect after reading that truly fantastic Akk Hintsa biography. (that 2nd and unfortunately the last book is worth a read too)
i like the fact he says things as it is, instead of making hypotheticals. unlike a certain Spaniard in Aston, who is praising LANCE STROLL of all the people
That overtake on Buton was impressive and clean but that same overtake on Maldonado was brutal and clean given we know how much is danger Maladonado. One of the few drives where you don’t need to be flashy on the start, making over the top overtakes, blistering speed and forcing people off Just using your experience and amazing racecraft and talent, working well with your strategies, maximizing the strength of the Lotus car which was tires being able to last long and taking the situation one car at a time.
God-like.....Absolutely God-like. If only not for his back problems and bloody lotus sabotage, Kimi would well and truly have won in 2013, even with the ridiculous tyres changes mid season.
Yes, especially pre-hybrid. He was the best driver in the second half of 2012 and the first half of 2013 before the tyre change and Lotus deciding to disadvantage him when he announced the move to Ferrari.
@somenormalpie The car wasn't suiting his style in 2017 and in 2018 he had 4 DNFs none of which were his fault and he was 39. At Lotus, some 7 seasons prior, he could have had the team possessed a bigger budget.
@@ciaronsmith4995 I read it somewhere, but I don’t remember anymore and I ask you to clarify - what was more in line with his driving style - rods or pushers?
The best f1 driver in the 2000's up until Seb Vettel enters F1 and be the best in the 2010's also again its only my opinion but I do respect yours if you think Kimi Raikkonen is the best f1 drivers in the 2010's then I respect that.
Old videos are returning.
You know Kimi's serious when he wears his sunglasses after dark
Lmao
Sickening for me how they just made him second driver when they got him back at Ferrari.
Kimi's Lotus year rivals his McLaren prime years like 2005. That man is a F1 legend and we all miss him.

Kimi embodies pure passion for racing
What a race Kimi did that day! Kimi is one of my inspirations. I miss you my favorite finn mate
Kimi is by far my favorite driver of all time! That clip where he full sends it thru the rain and fog is just legend status!

Alonso and Kimi, my favorites of 2013, were crazy that race

thanks man!
There's a dedicated group of Alonso and Kubica fans that have reported every single video I have, so I don't expect it to be up for long.
Kimi has absolutely no fear

Lotus kimi was even more prime than the 1st ferrari kimi imo lol
He was because the Pirellis suited him in late 2012 and early 2013 before they were changed mid-season.
Even Maldonator was afraid of Kimi😁... It's a pity, a great pity, that he stayed in racing for a couple more years...
Do you have the Kimi vs Perez’s battle from Silverstone 2021?
do you think kimi could've fought for a wdc in a competitive car in his 2nd stint in f1
he had one in 2017/2018, but Vettel took the fight to Hamilton instead
Definitely. RB was too strong tho
