Darrel Hair was right
If a man has the balls to stand by his decision and say yes I believe he's throwing what more can you ask for. There where others around this time a pace bowler from Zimbabwe can't remember name called and never seen again.

Darrel barrel was done and dusted by Pakistani team finally
Murali was a chucker. If he wasn't a chucker they wouldn't have had to change the rule. Hair made the correct call.
Agreed. The biomechanics analysis where they said that he physically couldn't straighten his arm is the dumbest thing I ever heard.
@danzigvssartre right. So if you congenitally can't straighten your arm fully, you can't play cricket at all.. you guys are probably just jealous Warnie is levels below him
@@UnbiasedBayernFan Maybe I could enter a walking race and then just run on the grounds that I can't straighten my legs? How dumb.
@@UnbiasedBayernFan warnie didn't chuck
Your legend is a cheat
@@blazer9547 Even Ian Chapell said that some of Shane Warnes deliveries were illegal, yet no one called him on it under the old law. Icc changed the laws because most bowlers had that bend in their arm
What a muppet Hair was
That was clearly Aus cheating through umpires against other countries. The big cheater and most controversal umpire Darel hair.
Big chucker.
Ok action
Hair is a moreon
No umpire will ever have the guts to call someone for throwing in a test match again. I wonder if Bumrah will get to 800 with his dodgy chucking action? That guy could baseball pitch the ball and no umpire would no-ball him.
Yeah, all the threating bowlers who are invincible are Chuckers in your view. And opponents who played Bumrah & Wasim Akram who rated Bumrah best bowler in current generation are blind and don't know rules of cricket😂
An umpire wouldn’t dare call out an Indian for throwing. Given India run the game, the umpire would be out of the game straight away
You people claim grounded catches and sandpapergate... Bumrah does not cheat...ever heard of Sandpapergate whinging Aussie.
@@frasergibson5763Yes and in Australia umpire will award grounded catches... and sandpaper!!!
you reap what you sow Murali became and all time great and this guy became nothing
Well done hair for calling that chucker
Umpire with 0️⃣ knowledge of cricket.
Australian corrupted cricket
Clear throwing. .
Yes. As Benaud said, it's about having the arm bent and then straightening it in the fraction of a second before the ball leaves his hand. Watch this ball on freeze frame and it is a blatant throw.
🤬🤬🤬
@@thebouncer9107you can’t tell anything from a 2D image hence why he was tested and cleared in a lab with scientific 3D imagery used - fact!
Everything else is opinion.
I always have thought he threw it. Seems like a lovely fella and I don’t blame him, but for mine he chucked it. I remember at the time not worry about it until I saw a you kiddy replicating his action at a park in sandgate, Brisbane. I thought then that that was the problem. I had a mate who could replicate his action too, but he was an adult.
Be careful Sir, you'll have snowflakes on here throwing the old racism card at you.
Really who coached in Sandpapergate😂
who came here after watching the movie
Racist Darel or not ?

Cheap umpire
Great umpire who had the courage to no ball a chucker. Pity ithe other umpires were to scared to. King Kohli would of smashed the chucker out of the attack.
are you indian you fucktard ? ashamed of you
In Tests, Muralitharan was found to exceed the then 5 degree limit for spin bowlers, but his unusual action was found to be partially the result of a congenital elbow deformity[4] and after further review, the ICC raised the elbow extension limit to 15 degrees for all bowlers
Ha ha 🤣🤣🤣. A cheater, that's why banned from umpiring due to pressure of BCCI.
Get your brain checked
Too often are umpires too afraid to call out chuckers.
I'm glad he had the balls to do so. As much as I love Malinga and Bumrah, i wish they had to go through the similar scrutiny.
Screw the people calling hair racist.
He was proven by the icc not to be a chucker. By your standard, McGrath and akhtar should’ve been called for chucking as they were found to exceed 5 degrees. Your point makes no sense
Can't say I've ever seen Bumrah chuck. His action is weird because his arm is totally straight even before the delivery. But Shaheen Shah Afridi is definitely a chucker.
@@simonmeadows7961then he should play disabled cricket
@@akshayraghuvanshi3039Illegitimate Aussie shut up Sandpapergate!!
And screw you you bloody Aussies claim grounded catches and blamed Murali because you couldn't play him!!!
Everyone was banging on about him not having a straight arm, but the rule was straightening of the arm, which could go from 10degrees to 5degrees, and is a no ball. But because it’s an Australian he was called racist and dropped from the international arena.
And let’s not forget he was bowling around 100kph in matches but when ‘tested’ he was only bowling between 60-70kph.
Yes, it seems many other bowlers especially off spinners at that time were guilty of that. But ICC somehow didn't want to open a can of worms, so they bent the rules to 'clear' Murali's action. Hair and others who questioned were shut down using the 'racist' card. Nothing personal against Murali, but he clearly chucked.
@@armedtuxedo6632 There were a lot of bowlers who chucked according to the 5 degree rule. Stop lying.
@@EkalabyaMohanty That's what i wrote. Many bowlers, esp. off spinners chucked in that era.
@@EkalabyaMohanty Murali's figures were when he knew he was being tested, the others quoted aren't, apart from those who were reported like Botha.
@@armedtuxedo6632 Main problem was the doosra. Saqlain I thought was okay, but those who turned it a lot, like Ajmal, were chucking. It's not difficult if you can throw.
Agree or not he was a chucker. Those tests done on him were rigged. Just look at his bowling action.
You bloody Aussies are always whinging... you whinged when John Snow bowled fiery spells at you in 70-71 whinged at Douglas Jardine in 1932-33 and claim grounded catches😂😂😂
You bloody know more than ICC stick some sandpaper up somewhere whinging Aussie.
Darryl Harper is a racist. There's no doubt about that. But was Muralidharan chucking the ball? Yes sir, he was. And, it is because of him, chucking became a common thing in international cricket. Sure, they tested his action and all. But in match situations, he definitely chucked. Some others bowlers who chucked imo... Shoaib Akhtar, Saqlain Mushtaq, Malinga, Dale Steyn, Glenn McGrath and many many more. If you've watched and played cricket all your life, in an instant you can tell who's chucking and who's not. Nowadays, seeing so many chuckers in international cricket and the rule changes to suit batsman, cricket has truly turned into a disgraceful sport...
So he chucked
Good on the umpire
Darrell who? 😂
and lozer srilankans coming to australia for better life. Wow go back mate.
Definitely a suspect action, I still think and always will,
there seems to be a degree of chucking In that delivery action.
Well, go and buy a sandpaper!
@@dragon1111ize what has that got to do with the World's best chucker? He should have been completely wiped out of the game. It didn't matter Sri Lanka couldn't play Test cricket to save them selves.
Murli has a congenital deformation in his elbow. This event happened before This was known. So everyone can calm down.
Over a billion people along with the Biomechanics testing unit of the ICC AND MULTIPLE AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITIES disagree with you. Your opinion is basically irrelevant lol
