But as soon as Murli retired ICC changed the deformity rule to No deformity in elbow allowed with in two months. Shoaib Malik became ineligible because of that and had to remodel his action to be allowed to bowl again.

Always loved murlidharan for his calming nature and apart from his bowling when he used to come for batting, I would be like "bhaai ye kahin bhi maar sakta hai..."
