Hi! From a girl with children whose husband travels a lot for work. Here are some advice to keep your home safe: post beware of dog signs, never have every light off, have motion detector lights outside, get a nest cam so you know who is at your door, make sure your doors and windows are always locked, get a security system. Also don’t tell dates where you live 😊

@@brittanybalyn also if you can, get a big dog 😊 so many men (delivery, construction, etc) can have commented that no one will mess with my house because of my dog. She has a huge bark but no bite so she really helps me feel at ease at night.

Same situation, husband works out of town. He been trying to get me to carry a gun and I was resistant.
However on Feb 9th, the man in the apartment next to me stabbed the girl who lived under neath me to death.
I now carry a sub compact 9 mm
And I feel much safer.

Does a "beware of dog" sign accept responsibility for harm caused by a dog where you live?
In Australia if you have "beware of dog" or "dangerous dog on premises" sign and someone breaks into your yard and gets hurt your legally liable for their injuries (stupid laws 😂) but a "dog if premises" is totally okay, just as long as there's nothing inferring the dog is dangerous
