If it feels small it's going to feel even smaller when it's full of furniture! Especially with littles I wouldn't compromise on size/outdoor space

Even if you end up getting a place with a bathtub-I highly recommend the Stokke bathtub! It’s not inflatable, but plastic and folds away nicely. I put it in our bathtub so we don’t have to fill up the big tub for a toddler bath! it saves a lot of water. It’s also super easy to clean. When we didn’t have a bathtub it was the perfect solution for us. The inflatable ones are kind of icky.

So exciting! I'm sure whatever you ended up picking will be great and just being able to save $ and have more space is such a plus. I live in Dallas (moved here from Boston due to the outrageous housing market, cost of living and more). LA is on another level.

My family and I just moved last month, and at the time I was 9 months pregnant with two kids (7 and 9). I know the stress all too well. To top it off, it was dumping rain every time we went house hunting. We ended up getting accepted to our second choice. We also live in CA. Sending good vibes your way! 🤞🏼
House 2, we moved into a house that didn’t have furniture, it now feels bigger with the furniture in plus you have an extra room that could be a part living room. Good luck either way though!

I worked in banking for 7 years and you might consider speaking with your branch where you purchased the cashier checks about placing a stop-payment on them! It may be easier than contacting shady landlords!

Moved 7 months pregnant 1400 miles and bought a home and moved again with a 6 month old. Very stressful but so happy now! Hang in there!
Hopefully you find one with a tub! If not amazon has a foldable tub that is pretty awesome.
Oh interesting I've always felt safer with my bedroom at the front of the house. So you can hear if someone is coming in the front door? In Australia most main bedrooms are at the front and kids are at the middle and back
Definitely trust your gut feeling above all else when it comes to where to live! My ex-husband and I chose between 2 houses and he had the final say; he picked the one I didn't really feel at home at because it was located in a super safe area and one of the neighbors was a sheriff. I was hoping the house would grow on me but it didn't. It was a lesson well learned though and I will definitely be sure to not ignore that feeling in the future :)

Honestly the yard isn’t really a big deal breaker if you guys have a small area that might be good enough plus she will be going to gym class maybe and to your parents as well as her dads ?

Wow, so interesting to watch. In europe no one ever would buy a renovated property with appliances. Everyone wants to chose it by themselves. Very interesting to learn something new about other coutries

I'd go with #2 for awhile. Save money to be able to buy a house that will fit your future needs.

I only posted the places I didn't choose, I looked in a large 40 mile radius, and I added an overlay so the images couldn't be back searched. I would never post a photo of the place I was move to on the internet!

you'll always do the right thing! they all look nice too.... hope the markets not to bad rn for u.... im in Aus n there's a major rental crisis myself n 2 other friends of mine have all lost our homes this year...due to landlords raising the rent by hundreds, there's no shelters free either or emergency accomodation... even doctors r finding themselves homeless! its completely messed up lol. so I 1000% know the stresses your going through, I have a 2yr old daughter as well - were now couch surfing applying to all rentals n houses even public housing waitlist... the worst part is that most homeless people in Aus rn actually make decent money... there is just too many people, not enough houses and inflation has made landlords selfish with rent increases lol!!
anyways if u read this ily n enjoy watching ur videos much, always cheer me up n feel more positive - stay strong!!
