Finally, people who don't immediately shit on RE6. This game may have done a lot of things wrong, but it also did a lot of things right. Especially when it came to the bosses.

Derek Simmons will always be my favorite boss in the series I watched a gameplay video on him when the game first came out and I was like damn Holy shit didn't know resident evil was cool like that and I dunno why but my heart always starts beating extremely fast whenever that fly shows up I might be the only guy who would love giant wasp battle I'm re9(I'm autistic) still derrek is the reason why I played and loved resident evil

Ubistvo is murder. Lepotitsa is a very pretty woman. Brzak is a fast stream/river. Ustanak is revolution, in the politcal sense not in the spinny ball sense. Tho I guess he does that too sometimes. Maybe a pun about how he keeps on going or whatever. Iluzja (Ee-loo-zee-ya) is illusion. HAOS is, as ya'll mentioned, our word for chaos. Thank you ❤. Also no way that isnt a sonic reference. Big water monster named Chaos? Cmon. Also also, never played the game, but fighting against the spin master blind go go gadget murder claw zombie mutant man seems like some of the most fun you can possibly have.
Ubistvo just being straight-up murder is hilarious, thanks for the cool intel on that. As for the sonic reference, anything is possible as far as media existing within the re universe. Breaking bad is mentioned (which references resident evil, paradoxically) so it’s open season on that front

RE 5 and 6 are Co-op games and unfortunately aren’t really balanced around single player very well. I had a great time playing the two games with my brother but single player is rough to say the least.
I have some pretty cool names for Simmons' transformations: 1. "Hellhound" - Simmons' dog-like monster form 2. "Centaur Lord" - Simmons' centaur-like monster form 3. "Death-A-Saurus Rex" - Simmons' T-Rex like monster form 4. "Beelzebub" - Simmons's gigantic bug-like monster form. Named after the legendary demon king Beelzebub, also known by the title "Lord Of The Flies"
If you played it on professional, you will change all the rankings. Because that’s the real gameplay. Ustenak is unforgiving, annoying, and more than hell.
I have to say this now, I say RE6 is bad not because of gameplay but because of the story, the complete absence of horror, completely neglecting character history and development, lazy af reused assets like it's so obvious, Annoying and long boss, a difficulty that is so unbalanced that RE5 is a cakewalk in comparison. A complete fuck you to the lore and greater effects on the universe and world building. I say this, You can have fun in this game, you can make something fun out of something that is bad. But saying this is a complete quality game that has refinement and polish is obscene, or you were high, drunk, crossfaded (both) or just a masochist who got their crazy scratched better than a crazy nympho at certain scenarios. I don't like RE6 don't try to say this is a great or even good game because it sadly isn't. Just like I said earlier, You can make something fun out of this mess. There ya go. But I still get behind or understand your defense for this game. Please don't take it fully as me completely shitting on you for having this. Rather I want you to make something like this. But instead of saying this is great or good just say I had fun playing this. You have all the right in the world to say fun is something that can be have during this game. Calling this actually good is lunacy. Still love the vid tho subbing now!
A small note for the Ubistvo (train) fight but I don't think it's supposed to feel like he's been beaten, because, well, he isn't. The sign you see him smack into at the end of that fight is the same sign you see him smack into right at the beginning of Jake & Sherry's first fight against him; the animation in both cutscenes is extremely similar and it explains why Jake & Sherry see him smack into a sign. On a kinda unrelated note, I feel like some of these fights are either better or worse if you're going for any medals specific to them. As some examples, Ubistvo (train) is way worse because the medal for that fight is to have him kill all the crawling zombies in his arena and that's just a pain to do; Ustanak (drill) is honestly kinda hard but feels rewarding because his medal is to beat the stealth section without killing any of the bugs, which you admittedly can just cheese in co-op but in solo it's actually kinda fun to plan out a way to get through the final stealth section without getting spotted or killing anything; and the Ogroman Duo is relatively unchanged since their medal is just gettingrhe finishing blow on one of them with a QTE, which is already the best way to kill them anyway if you want the 4000 skill points they each drop. I doubt you two were factoring in the medals for these rankings at all, as very few bosses have them and I feel like most people don't care about the medals, but they can sometimes add a bit of complexity (or frustration) to the fights.
Many times I wonder if the people shitting on the game are even playing the same game in the same franchise as I am. Easily one the most interesting, content rich, and entertaining games in the RE franchise.
it really is just the definitive way to go through it id say. not many people have the luxury of knowing another guy willing to play re5/6 so i can get why some wouldnt feel the same fondness for it that we do, but its really a totally different experience
Great video, Guys! The only RE games I've played are RE 1 Remake and the OG versions of RE 2, 3, and 4, but I had fun with those games. I know RE 6 receives a lot of criticism, but it's good to hear that it has a better boss roster. By the way, Ultrakill Layer 7 just dropped a couple days ago, and it's outstanding. I'm currently trying to P-Rank the new levels, and that will definitely keep me busy for a bit. Anyway, I'm enjoying your content as always and look forward to your future uploads!
Ultrakill is awesome, I was actually streaming that in vc during the game awards once I got bored lol. I’m better than I expected at it which was a pleasant surprise
@@Cytonox Yeah, it's a very challenging FPS, but you get better at it the more you play it. Starting off, I didn't think I'd ever manage to P-Rank the levels, but my skills improved the more time I put into the game. I will say that the Prime Sanctum Bosses are definitely worth it, and they're the only reason I bothered to get the P-Ranks in the first place. Also, Ultrakill has the best boss roster of any FPS I've ever played, no contest. The first Prime Sanctum Boss in particular is phenomenal.
@@Cytonox I finally managed to P-Rank all the levels in Layer 7 of Ultrakill, and, holy crap, a couple of those gave me some trouble (and I only play the game on Standard). 7-2 took me a total of 8 hours to P-Rank (over several gameplay sessions), and I nearly threw in the towel on that one. Still, this might very well be the best layer thus far, and I can't wait to see what Hakita does with the remaining two layers. How far along did you get in the game, Alex? This is a rare example of an FPS that I think gets better as it goes along, and, as much as I like the first few layers, I think Layer 4 onward is where it really starts to shine in terms of level design, themes, and combat encounters. Based on what you've said before about your preference for certain level themes, I'm sure you'll love Layer 4, too. Ultrakill has actually managed to unseat Dusk as my favorite New Blood game, which is something I didn't foresee happening. Anyway, I hope you guys had fun Christmases!
