- I’ve been pretty impressed with this Ganzo 803. Really nice features on the sheath, and it performed well in the Woods. Just wish the sharpener didn’t have those stupid screws!

Got this for my boy for Xmas. Perfect Learner beater without spending 3 times the price because it says Bear Grylls on it
Heck yeah, this knife is perfect for that.
I love this knife for money. Even the screws down and you can sharpen easily. Easy fix. I personally love the lime green....just different.
Good deal
I chose this color figured it would be easier to find. It's a good buy.
Agreed, I still use this one when I go camping. It’s been a good knife.
Been looking at this one for a while now.. and d-171 from hx outdoors.. d2 they say.. hmm
This one was definitely not in D2. It’s in 8CR14MOV, which is a Chinese steel similar to an AUS8.
@@OhioBladeandCutlery oh I know.. d-171 is d2
its not bad for the second version, but it needs a better retention strap closure.
Yep the retention strap is in need of a snap
I'm not a fan of that steel for an outdoor knife, but it does look like it's performing well for you. Guess it's not much worse than AUS8 though, which is common on budget blades. You would think they would at least counter sink those screws on the sharpener. Guess those who make them never use them or they'd know better. All in all, not bad for $30. If your on a budget, you could do worse. Not sure about the survival part, Don't think I'd want to trust my life on it, lol..but an ok camp knife.
Yep, pretty similar in performance and hardness to AUS8. Not a terrible steel at all, but there are certainly better ones. Can’t expect premium steel on a $30 knife though. I figured the coating would come off quickly but it had almost no damage to it. I was fairly impressed for $30. The sharpener is just poorly designed.
Lol looks like a cheap copy of the Bear Grylls knife
