Hi, I’m a cat owner and I love cats.. Like your cat, what is its name?
Most of your viewers must be in the US ... wtf is a Pound
what happened to that Delta P video you were talking about a while back? ive been really looking forward to that
1:53 It seems the new table doesn't have any drawers and the old one has. The old one won't break if you put heavy machine on it, the new one can hold a woman (Okay). It was a mistake to burn the good old table.
Leoko is the orange cat inside and Nappe is the cat sitting outside @@themasterdork2650
You should add a FLIR camera so can see where it gets warm
Yessss !!
5:29 the coating on the steel flaking off gradually is really cool and satisfying
mill scale 😉
that layer is because it being red hot in the forge
"Relaxing shopping time at a scrapyard" is a sentence I was not expecting to hear today.
I like it :D Nice to find out stuff for your new project that you are exited about
“Shit load of steel tube” was hilarious as well.
I know right? It's not relaxing at all, you have to get in and secure the good stuff before the vultures get to it!
Guess you're not a welder or other DIY'er then haha. I love the scrapyard.
@@trulyinfamous I don't weld or scrap so no reason to go to the scrapyard.
Hannas voice is literally the cutest thing ever lol
Proof of a creator God ;-)
You know it's going to be a good day when Lauri starts out with "Here is a shitload of steel tubes". And that Flexispot ad... pure creative genius, and freaking hilarious.
It was especially satisfying to watch the round tubing accordion into a stack of donuts, the consistency/symmetry of the folds really surprised me.
"Steelception. You can tube while you are tubing." HPC Lauri 2024
Yo, dawg....
11:40
@@jlangevin65 Nice to see that memes from 17 years ago are still remembered.
UA-cam, MeTube, We all Tube
Came for the steel crushing. Did not expect Hanna on a desk in a floral dress ;).
Super satisfying watching the mill scale cascading off the I-Beam!
The desk commercial was hilarious, with the cat looking at the desk going up and down thinking to himself "What the hell....????" 🙀😂🤣
Oh! I did not notice the cat. I had to watch again🤣
Hanna laying on the desk and then Lauri sitting on the desk is a simple and effective ad too
Sooner or later the cat will notice the buttons.
Hanna will never find her desk where she left it ever again.
4:59 "Strong as F O C K"
Its one of many standard engineering terms lol.
F O C K yeah he did!
You should make things to sell out of the squashed things to save for a new camera.
I dont think most people have a 300ton press in their garden shed to make their own
I was thinking the same thing. Sell crushed items as artwork! I really liked the cylinders turned into rings.
You are creating Modern Art out of scrap. Make some money from it.
You think a multi years old, 10+M subs youtube channels, with both regular ads and embedded sponsors need to " save " some money ? Or maybe you think he needs to save for a $5M+ camera or something...
He could buy cash an Arri Alexa if he wanted..
@@xl000 good point, likely paid for that press.
Could sell them for a boat at his summer house then
I always skip ads, but this one you made is just spot on funny.
Cheers 👍💪✌
"If it isn't, then it isn't" is the most relatable thing I've heard all day
You can likely sell those hydraulically crushed metal pieces as modern art pieces. Great to display on your desk.
I could listen to Hanna's voice all day.
The moment the H beam starts to compress looks amazing. The rust or whatever the coating there is starts to fall of so symmetrically ;)
you should try compression welding metal plates. like aluminium with alu, alu with titanium, steel and brass, iron and steel, copper & brass
Best sponsor insert EVER 😁
Hanna looking good on her new desk!👏👏👏
“If you’re cheap ass like I am!”
Lmao! 🤣
Some cool steel art you are creating there.
9:29 only you guys could make a steel pipe fart like an old man...😂
You two are such a cute couple!
"To have a relaxing shopping time" ... at a metal scrap yard. I love Hana's attitude! She is awesome!
I know the advertisement was for the Flexispot desk, but that was also an impressive showing of the strength of the old desk. Wouldn't break under the weight of a small tractor, and mostly wouldn't even burn !
I love this channel. Consistently improving entertainment for almost 10 years now!
"STRONG AS F**K"!👍🏻The I beam looked very strange! 👍🏻
Who knew a 300T press could make art👌
Damn, you guys are absolutely the most entertaining and endearing couple to grace the internet.
1:52 What a table, despite all this, it did not break, so much so that they had to burn it😂😂
Imagine being in a sub in the crushing depths of the ocean and then hearing that noise when they pressed the I-beam...
Wow! What a beautiful cat @ 2:22!
I love the cat looking at you and he's like:
"Hey man, you know that this thing gonna crush you on head on the ceiling ?!"
As someone else said, the coating on the I-beam flaking was neat, but I didn't expect it to fail like that...
And I agree, the way the pipe folded in on itself so cleanly was oddly satisfying.
Have you tried a piece of railway track before?
For Part 2, I'd love to see a Go-Pro shot from inside the pipe being crushed. Lay the camera on the base and point it up towards the ram to watch the pipe crushing down on it. Obviously it would be in the danger zone, but with a large enough pipe and all the controls you have, I think you could do it without too much risk of destroying the camera in the process.
You have to crush one of those standing desks 😮
Doesn't fit to the press :D We can test how strong is the leg of one of those if we end up doing more videos with them
@@HydraulicPressChannel It could fit ACROSS the press though! Although I'm not sure you'd be keen on loading the concrete slab with the force of the press!
@@HydraulicPressChannel Then you need a bigger press :D
Crushing the steel tubes would look quite interesting with a thermal camera.
Also, guest appearance of the cat at 1:36 🐈
That would be cool
Haha, what a time for the Big Lathe to be gone now! It would have made easy work of truing up those tubes.
You should seriously consider opening an art gallery to exhibit all those metal pieces that the press turns into literal pieces of art. You might even sell them and get good money, since each of them is unique, and when you run out of pieces to sell... well, it's nothing that a relaxing shopping trip to the scrapyard won't fix. 😄
Forget the epic battle of Godzilla vs King Kong, we have 300 Ton Press vs Giant Steel Pipe.
Let's get ready to rumble!
Get Hanna a damn table already. 😂
They should add a piece of Plexiglas in front of all the cameras in the bunker so if anything doing a big explosion, the cameras stay safe 😁.
You Effin nailed that whole steel-ception bit 😅😂😂
Love the AvE sticker!👏 🙇♂️
Those birds outside got a good view at the 1:19 mark.
More like the neighbors seeing the beautiful Hanna view and I approve of that view LOL
Idk how well it would do for content, but I wonder how far you could stretch a steel pipe using a crusher head that is beveled to a point or near point (so, basically a cone). Would a tube split and peel like a banana? Or would it just get wider and wider?
Also, you might be able to make some good firewood if you used a cone attachment on some firewood lol
Galvanized square steel
💪💪💪💪💪
With wood veneer
it's much softer, because of heat when it is dropped to zink pool.
@@zzzyyyzz It's mild steel not heat treated so it won't likely be any different because of the heat and the super thin zinc plating won't change the strength either.
@@phillhuddleston9445 of it is hot sink it affects, if electric coating then not
contact heat transducer to get a running live temp during crush would be cool.
As a user of flexispot tables
I can assure you won’t be disappointed
It raises and lowers very fast
Has save positions
And is very budget friendly.
It has been pretty cool to see you guys progress from just a small press with basic cameras to this large press with better cameras, a robot for different views, and better audio. The slow motion footage where you can see the metal flake off was really cool as well. Keep up the good work!
Hi Laurie and Hanna. The only way that I can get a band-saw to cut straight is to make sure the adjustable blade-guide is as close to the work as possible and to cut very slow.
Dam that old desk was built to last, holding at least 1/3 of that heavy machinery.
Do a square tube with the biggest round tube that will fit inside the square one.
No thermal shots this time? Awesome video still 😎
I think I have to buy thermal camera people are asking it so much :D
I love how this channel has grown to almost 10 MILLION subscribers!
I don't normally like the youtube ads but I did like Hanna's desk modeling. She "crushed" it!!!
9:00 this one was so satisfying
Thank you for putting the little eyes 👀 on the tubing, I have no idea why but details like this makes squashing things more fun😉😁
Hannah's FlexiSpot ad was top notch! She has a talent for product demonstration in addition to her many other skills.
The creaking of steel is one of the most “this should not be happening” sounds ever
The "Strong as fuck" I-beam... It was actually expecting that to out-do the press being end-on. Crazy
That result is a tribute to modern metallurgy and manufacturing - the way the tubes concertinaed shows how even the alloy is and how accurately they were made. I suspect an old pipe would have just split somewhere.
Excited for part 2 with bigger pipes!
I'm never walking into a skyscraper ever again. EVER.
Peon pipes must Bow before Bob. 😂
The pan down to hannah on the desk totally spooked me. I wasn't expecting a person, and at first, I totally thought it was lauri on the table in a dress! 😆
Thank you for an Ad for a company that I haven't heard a thousand times, is actually useful, you have hands-on experience, is in my price range, and available in many countries.
When you realize that every speed on hydraulic press channel is *technically* RAMMING SPEED
You two created one of kind art pieces!! You should auction them off. And as always great content!!
Lauri is very amusing - while I cannot say for sure, it is like he thinks of the saying/joke in Finnish and delivers it super low-key but very entertaining in English. Awesome channel.
I like how it makes those evenly spaced "ripples".
The way the cylinders collapse so uniformly is awesome. You could easily sell them as merch.
These pieces would easily sell as art!
12:55 is the sound of the spaceship groaning as the tidal forces from the black hole ripple through the superstructure when you're burning your engines at 129% of the safety margin as you try to escape the 12 enemy ships that ambushed you..
"... so you can tube while you are tubing"
Damn, that's an OG meme right there 😄
Work was really bad today for me and getting to watch HPC when I get home can always improve my mood.
Usually booth babes are used to sell stuff but here we have a table babe, or two 😉
4:50 That's actually a "wide flange" beam; its perimeter is square. An "I-beam" has much narrower flanges, and looks like the letter "I". What you made it into looks great. Definitely art!
Where I'm from we call them "H-beams"
Metal art !!
Your paper projectiles that you gave Jeff's channel were awsome!
These videos are very good, you guys are crushing it!
...
Yes, that was a pun. You're welcome. 😁😁😁
I Would sandblast & paint those bits satin black & use them for garden art. Great talking point! This engineer enjoyed this, thank you.
Your channel gives me “is it a good idea to microwave this” Channel vibes. And I’m so glad this exists😊.
I thoroughly approve your use of the phrase "strong as fuck"
You should put a go pro inside one of the square pieces to get footage from the inside. (Not crush all the way tho)😊
I was expecting the “I” beam to be much stronger than it turned out to be. That press is amazingly powerful. Thx for all the hard work you two come up with to demonstrate the differences in shapes and materials abilities to withstand pressure.👍👍🇨🇦
This is some of the best footage you've recorded in months! Keep up the good work! 😃
This was an awesome video! The shapes were fun and often surprising, especially the I-beam. This is easily one of top 10 best videos on this channel.
Watching that millscale crack off was mesmerizing 😊
The bent I-beam looks like a Beggin' Strips dog treat.
Not me having a stroke at 11:36
Hanna looking awesome as always!!
When I was 10 Santa gave me a BB gun. With it I destroyed countless dollars worth of Star Wars, G.I. Joes, and many other vintage toys.I am now 50 and realize I need a 300 ton press because the BB gun would never go through my microwave.
The flaking on the I beam was a really cool shot
In the immortal words of Jezza: "Speed and power!"
And the round ones ended up looking like the average modern day beach body.
The effect on the surface of the pipes just before the pipe gives up is really cool. I was wondering how it would look if the pipe was polished. Also would be interesting to see a chrome plated pipe.
That pancake effect was satisfying.
that one round pipe came out so cool!!!! would be a awesome wall hanger
