There are tons of options when it comes to BB's and we wanted to make a video to help you guys navigate what the best BB is for you to use. From the starting point of .12's all the way up to sniper rounds at .40 there are a ton of great BB choices for you to use.

.28 seems to be optimal for good flight stability while still retaining enough velocity to hit farther targets quicker in outdoor in a long range machine gunning battle rifle (400-420fps) setup in my opinion. I use them with my flat hops and I think it is much better than a .30 with that added speed
Also .30s are double the cost of .28s.
.40 ARE PERFECT for no call nights at CQB locations. try it, trust me, they will call it lol
are heavier weight bbs more painful than lighter weight bbs? i am just having some troubles with cheaters

I use .12g BBs for my 40 mm grenades and hand grenades. I have a nice spray and range with them, specially with 40 mm
.20 I use them on shotguns and AEPs
.25: For my AEGs around 320-350 fps.
.40 are feeding my bolt.
I use tracer BBs indoors. They are really useful where light is low and help a lot to see your trajectory.

depends on the range. a heavier BB will leave the barrel slower than a lighter one, and leave the barrel with the same energy. however, a heavier BB will carry the energy further than a lighter one. thus being able to deliver more energy on impact = hits harder
I use .28 all the time. Works very good for both CQC and outdoors.

I found the .33 BIO G&G pellets to be super accurate at closer range with an AEG.

The reason for black bb's is that it is nearly impossible for enemies to track, and work especially well if you have a well sighted in gun and you know for sure it will hit where you aim.
I like how they spilled the bbs out on the table for that one cinematic shot.
Green peas. You should use green peas. The variable size and weight keeps the enemy guessing (and you doing a lot of cleaning afterwards)

when you say 400fps guns, you mean guns that are chronoed at .20 then switching to heavy weights?

What about 40 mm shells or grenades. It would be cheaper and if they do break, you wont damage a hopup. It would be a cheaper option.
They seem good for cheap springers though.
Agree had 0.12gram bbs for a spring powered pistol lol but for a gas or co2 pistol I recommend 0.20gram for gas
I do run .12s in my shotgun though and in a cheap cyma mp5. I wouldnt use them in anything with a tightbore as I have had them get stuck in a 6.03mm barrel a lot.
Buy .25 .28 .32 and use all three with your weapon untill you find the right one based on the range. Also buy PREMIUM. I play outdoors and use .25 for my pistols all have MapleLeaf drop in kits, which makes a HUGE difference). And .30 in my AEG

HEY! what should i use for a 300-350FPS AEG with extended barrel? its used for both cqb and long range on the same games and the gun is the CYMA CM515 which is a keymod M4 with the longer barrel. i was thinking .25 but any other reccomendations

have a g&g srl and it shoots around 375-390 fps i play indoors,i have to turn my hop up all the way up for the bbs to get a almost straight line but they are still falling short should i switch to .20?

I have a UK Arms MK96 Covert Sniper rifle I bought from Airsoftmegastore I bought a bag of .20 bb's for my pistol and .34 bb's for my sniper rifle, they are both the same brand and both 6mm bb's, and both supposedly 5.95mm diameter, but the .34 are almost double the size and won't fit in my rifle. Is this a fluke? I thought they would be the same size just heavier. What size should I get that would fit my sniper rifle? It fires 460 fps with .20

For .12's what about grenade launchers which are. Just meant to wuicly clear a room wit its extra wide shotgun spread essentially or grenades that throw bb's everywhere. Are those good for that since they are cheaper. No o wouldnt shoot them out of one of my guns unless it was an lpeg or *WALMART* springer. I say that because sniper rifles and shotguns that arent single shot will have issues.

For a rifle that has 350-380 fps 0.2 bb, what is the best bb weight for the best overall length & accuracy? When I use 0.2 shooting outdoor, the bb seems to swing right/left depending on the wind at a range of 8-10 meters. I hope that I can nail a target at 20-30 meters, so please advice. Thanx.

.12 is great because you don't use so much psi compared to a gas pistol
Black BBs go both way. I can’t even count the times where I’ve seen white BBs go towards me and dodged them ONLY because I have seen it fly towards me. So I’d say black BBs are good for milsim style. while white / tracers are good for CQB where you hipfire

436 get .30 or .28g. for your 360 get .20g

Your fps will be lower with 0.25g bbs since they are heavier than 0.2g bbs. How much the fps changes between different bb weights depends on your gun. My gun's fps decreased by 100 when I switched from 0.2g to 0.25g bbs. Not sure what you mean by "does it matter playing indoors?". If you're ever unsure about a rule, just give your local field a call.
