- This is my instrumental cover of the Final Fantasy 7 battle theme based on the original by the amazing Nobuo Uematsu ^^
I didn't really have time to buy and play smash when it came out, but after seeing the Cloud trailer on the Nintendo Direct, I'm totally gonna get it!!! I still cannot believe it! How did Daddy Sakurai manage to pull this one off? This man has no limits! Anyways, consider this a special (Version 1) for Cloud making an appearance in Smash! I found about this song because of etika. I've listen to this exact song while working out. Thanks to this I made it to my varsity wrestling team. I was once 175 in my sophomore year but with enough training I went down to 145 and was pretty lean. I love you etika.. long live the sm4sh days.

+13thEmblemLord nah, it can be complete without 7. If you don't play any ff games though, you're missing out. (I say not 7 because in my honest opinion there are better games, like 13 for example.)

+Koromok I'm gonna be honest, 13 obviously had better graphics because it was on PS3, but don't go saying that the despicable game that is 13 is better than 7 mah boy D: I've played every FF game (except 11) and 13 to me was a dissapointment, with a Light being an annoying girl type version of Cloud (and Cloud is my favorite character after Zack). In terms of games on the Playstation consoles, FF7 was my favorite, so you've hurt mah feelings T^T Now that we will have the remake for PS4, you'll be left speecheless of it's magnificence when it comes out (as we'll all be). Now if you had said that 10 or 9, or maybe even 8 was better than 7, I would have left it at that - truly, those games are also one of my favorite (with great story). No offense though, I respect your opinion, just wanted to show my love for 7 ;P

***** Also, I didn't love FF 13 for the graphics, but they are nice. I've played 7. When i said "not that much" I meant in comparison to 13. I love every FF. I have easily 10 100% files of FF7. But I have over 22 100% FF13 files.
Lightning is also my least favorite character. Even I can see that she is a bad rip-off of cloud (Who is awesome btw, top 5 ff characters imo). Fang is awesome though.
Also, reason i love FF13? The battle system. When you ignore Auto-Battle, it's a lot better and more engaging.

This is amazing. I used to be against the idea of Cloud representing the Final Fantasy series in SSB4 and preferred Black Mage but after seeing Cloud in action I'm so hyped for him. He makes sense since he's the most popular Final Fantasy character

I must applaud you how wel this is done, honestly I wish this would make it into the game because of how well this was done. Particularly what gives it that epic feel is when it starts out in the beginning like the original soundtrack then the sound slows down and drops then kind of explodes into the remixed theme. It really just has a great feel and im sure i will find myself listening to this as I battle friends and foes as cloud.

Want to know what sucks Nintendo only released 2 tracks for the midgar stage in smash bros wiiu and 3ds and they where the originals no remixes not that I have any thing against the original tracks its just that Nintendo could have put some remixed songs and mabey a little bit of tracks from other final fantasy games instead of just having 2 tracks only mabey they will release a update for the midgar stage with more music
