Awesome , glad its helping. But is also good to practice transcribing. Try starting with voice melodies since they're more audible , then go to easy basslines. Its a long process but its worth it.

This is a little fast tempo for a total beginner, but you if you really want to play it you can always slow the video down and increase the tempo gradually :)
What scale (if any) is the chorus bass line using? Cause it’s not just the root notes like in the verse obviously, so I’m wondering what theory was used to create that
The key is G# minor , in this case I don't think of it as any scale. The bass is just playing the roots, now it's a matter of finding out what the chord progression is and what chords don't fit diatonically and find out how those borrowed chord were used and their relation to the key.
@@RLomoterenge Of course, I took that way! One of the reasons that I created this channel was to also progress. Recording yourself is one of the best ways to improve , you can really see what you need to work on. :)
