@@spoolin05srt we have different views a good sales man can convince you it hot when it's cold, which book offers a more realistic picture of creation the bible or science's, you know the bibles method OK question may need answering however we crawl from the sea as a single species and from one cell we all developed into a single organism there were no deviation in the process 3 arms extra eyes, the lord has given us freewill which allows us the opportunity to deny is presence I am not 100% sure but I like to think that we were created in perfection and continue to destroy who we are 🙏

He is one of the most knowledgeable people in F1. It shows how much each and every person involved in a team has to be this switched on.
I read his story few years back, that guy didn't have much options, no diplomas and look where he is now. I am proud of people like that! I know first hand how difficult it can be, to pick yourself up out of what seems a hopeless situation, but he did it.l, and so did I. ❤❤❤

What absolutely amazes me is that the winning mentality goes down to every person in the team. You hear Christian Horner say it week in week out by to hear it from the actual people on the ground is sobering I absolutely love it

Very fascinating and interesting to hear Calum share his mindset, thoughts and experiences with RedBull and especially Max. It shows that what Max and the team are achieving is absolute magic. They don't get the praise and respect they should (dominant, bla bla, bkring, bla bla). I reckon we should all appreciate what they are achieving and that we're witnessing history here.
O think this man's a pleasure to be around, gives great energy and sure would like to have a couple of beers with him. Great job and keep it up!
Well said, I think people forget that they didn't flip a coin and get a fast car. In some ways they took a big gamble. They made a car with the best research they could come up with. It still needs to all work together. The drivers still need to drive it, Pit crew still needs to service it. The list goes on. And they all view each others as equals as well. I like how RB is always quick to point out "the people back at the factory". They put in countless hours keeping them in the front. Hopefully Checo can keep it together so RB can get the one two this year. If they don't get it this year they might never get it lol
Calum is an inspiration and I'll hope that with his help Red Bull and Max Verstappen keep winning for a long time!

Nice conversation, didn't know Calum was such a role model but it makes sense I guess. You can't really miss him on TV, especially in a season where the Red Bull crew can be seen celebrating almost every race. Heck, he might even have enjoyed more screen time to the average audience than Lewis this season.

Calum is such a cool guy! Down to earth and a very positive mindset ……… so he is the perfect match working together with Max.
this is what one wants in a team. A great individual, hear him talk about the garagemusic hehehe keeps to his honest own taste, importantly: in a non problematic way. One is present to be as constructive as possible, and with him its crystal clear. 👍
Enjoyed getting to know Calum. Indeed, he stands out in the garage and to me it's always nice to meet team members other than the bosses and drivers -- guys and gals who build and fix the cars, do strategy, etc. Next up, Sky Sports F1, get Hannah Schmitz on the podcast.
When i see those smiles of Max and Calum i am truly happy for you both and of course the whole of the red bull team, for me the red bull team are something different compared to all the rest of the teams in F1 some very special people there and Calum and Max are only 2 of them! great RESPECT FOR THE RED BULLETS!!!

It's not Sky as organisation but some reporters obviously are a bit annoyed how Abu Dhabi 2021 went just like many other british Hamilton supporters. What still bewilds me why they still after years blame Max for a weird Masi decision to allow lapped cars to pass. Since then everything reported was kinda negative towards Max and Hamilton errors smothered. Wish that people turn their negativity towards Max into positivity for their favorite and keep it fun for everyone including Max supporters.
Not just a great mechanic, but also a great guest for an interview and seems to be a really pleasant and razor sharp dude. Great role model!
Seen this man race after race being pumped and giving it all, never seen an interview with him before. So good to hear the perspective of one of the team members you only see but hardly ever get to hear. Great interview with this multiple World Champion (because let us not forget that if you are part of a team that becomes World Champion, you are a World Champion yourself as well) Thank you Callum, may you win many more with the team.
Good to see and surprising to see Sky Sports celebrating Max Verstappen and Redbull… didnt know sky had it in them . This seems like an exception to the norm but I’ll take it

I’ll never understand why Brit F1 fans seem to vilify Redbull, a very British team, (especially with awesome people like Calum) yet treat a German car manufacturer team operating out of England with such reverence. Is it really just because of the Brit drivers?
Yup. That's how vile they are. Plus they're still crying over 2021.
As a Brit, I agree with both of you 😂.
This is a tired old rhetoric of anti-British that's just never gonna go away. British bias does exist, but it's overblown by the outnumbered nationalities from the rest of the world constantly crying online as soon as a British person says anything positive about another British person. You can keep crying, every single season has had a British GP winner in the last 3 decades. We make good drivers and other countries are just bitter about it.
I'll try to explain.
This "German manufacturer" has so much in common with Germany that 1/3 of the shares belong to Daimler (currently called Mercedes-Benz Group AG). Another 1/3 belongs to the British INEOS. And the remaining 1/3 belongs to Toto Wolf. So that's it in terms of who own the team.
The current Mercedes comes from Brawn, which comes from Honda, which comes from British American Racing (BAR), which comes from Tyrrell. All thouse except for Tyrrell operates/ed in Brackley UK.

Calum is such a natural speaking on podcasts and interviews and you can feel and hear his passion through the screen.
I've seen a couple of interviews now with Callum, and he is just so nice to hear from and to get that insight into what it's like from the inside looking out.
Calum even makes me understand a lot more about F1.But more important:He really make kids believe that they can become what they want.Very nice person,thanks Calum you are one big motivator.
This was a fantastic podcast! I obviously like hearing from big shots like Newey, Zak Brown, Toto, etc... but please continue to bring mid and lower level F1 people! I love the sport and I think it's great to hear the voices of the people that turn smaller wheels. Their experiences, their story to F1, etc... :D Great job, Mr. Nicholas!
such a chill guy , would be pleasure to work with , and during celebrating a win he , he is never at the for front , such a humble guy.
I like how Calum is able to look at the big picture. Like he knows the team and him and really bring it. He hasn't been around F1 as long as a lot of others, in terms of engineers and directors and such, but he has the outlook of "every single one of us matters". He knows the guy making a bolt, or him turning a spanning, even the guy in food services, it all matters. And he does a good job of knowing that all that rides on the shoulders of Max and Checo. They all put in 100% and they know they will get it back.
Great interview with someone you see a lot during a Grand Prix, but not after. Bloody shame Red Bull has stopped making Behind the Charge. Had some things you normally would not see.
INormally only the drivers and team bosses appear for camera's. t's very nice that Red Bull Racing is giving mechanics the oppertunity to tell their story too.
This was awesome! We see this dude in the garage every race weekend. Now we have a voice and background to go with the guy. It's great to hear about all the hard working people that are there doing hard work.
May or may not have teared up when he started talking about growing to love DTS and how ppl reached out saying he inspired them🥲. Such a great guy all around.

yeah Calum we often see you celebrating at the end in the garage, and you have stood out amongst the rest, even though we know you guys all work together as one but you do stand out and i am glad we see you in this interview, very cool thanks for sharing, i am A Pro Photographer and would love to photograph F1 would be amazing if that could come about somehow as i am racing fan since i can remember as a kid and if that came true would be amazing!
Callum is doing great advertisement work for the mechanic profession and the F1 mechanic profession specifically. His passion makes and his top athlete mindset are really impressive. Great interview!

The "that's a package that no-one else can beat" is only true of a Drivers team mate. I actually love that about F1 it is so unique and nuanced when compared to any other sport. It's not a team sport or an individuials sport for example, it's both!"

Calum Rocks! What a trooper. Sharp n on the spot hes like a central attacking midfielda, that dabei-ness, clear, dares to communicate, solid and calm.
We need more of this in F1 cause it's really about racing instead of all the hate that's been spreading around to feed the so called fanboys.
