I've been reading the comments and my synopsis is this: Violence is traumatic for all. Those who aren't explicitly included as victims feel abandoned and re-victimized. For those who have come here with enough anger and trauma to lash out at a youtube video, I am so sorry. I wish people could reach out to see common ground between two human beings rather than building up walls to separate them. A man abused by his mother, a wife abused by her husband, a little girl attacked by a stranger, a little boy forced into combat.... I am so sorry to you all.

I agree with this. Everyone is traumatized. Even the "baddie" there need to be actual avenues to break the cycle without fear of shame, judgement or repercussions. It seems the thing is to armour up the victims to stomp out evil. Like a witchhunt. Strong emotions like anger and betrayal and stuckness and grief yes, but the whole point is to try heal both sides of the divide in order to break the cycle and ripple this effect. @Jas Yann A green party politician got up in front of the house of lords and claimed that all men should be put under a 6pm curfew, if you're not aware of it then do your research. She said and I quote "i would argue that at the next opportunity for any bill that's appropriate i might actually put in an amendment to create a curfew for men on the streets after 6 pm which i feel would make women a lot safer and discrimination of all kinds would be lessened"

it happends almost as much as women and when it happens 12% of the time the man that calls the police because hes getting abused by his wife/girlfriend, is the one who ends up getting arrested, not the woman

Lots of people say that domestic violence is equal between the genders. If you compare the amount of women killed by men to the amount of men killed by women, you will see that this is utterly NOT true. In 2015, over 500 wives dies in the US due to domestic violence. Only 113 husbands died due to domestic violence.

This is great, but how about showing equity in this so called age of enlightenment.? All violence is wrong. I was stabbed by a woman many years ago but had previously reported domestic violence which lead up to this incident to a female police officer at Sunshine police station. When I first reported the abusive behaviour of my then partner the police woman laughed at me stating "well you are a big man" I received no help or support as a male. The police Woman expected me to handle my own situation. When I did hold my partners arms while reporting to police that this Maltese mad woman was attacking me again I was told that the mere act of me restraining her was an act of "violence against a woman" as I said, by following police instructions I ended up being stabbed. How about some equity and fairness. Violence is wrong period!!! Women should also have an ad saying violence & infidelity & acting a total cunt to a man is wrong. If you attack a man then expect to be physically restrained. Let's get back to reality. Thank you.

Antman At The Moment I know a lot of people who study law and government and they ALL say that men and women currently do not have equal rights under the law in the USA. For starters there is not law preventing discrimination on the basis of gender.
