- Welcome to my new car, a Mercedes-Benz W204 C63 Coupe Edition 125. I've admired this car since it first came out in 2008, I remember seeing it on Top Gear and reading about it in EVO magazine.. and now I own one! The M156 6.2 litre powertrain is legendary, producing 457bhp and 600NM of torque. Nice! Although I think you're gonna miss the MX-5. This shouts about it's features and V8, the MX-5 shouts about everything it can do without and still provide it's driver with what petrolhead driving is all about. Enjoy it!

As a complete package it looks to be one hell of a machine. I like the exterior, aggressive but understated, interior looks plush, engine sounds awesome. You must feel pretty good rolling around in this! Enjoy. Cheers, Glenn.

Just found your channel, this is an awesome car. Your presenting style is right up my street so I think I'll be watching more of you and the C63 :) I can see a lot of the quirks in this car in my lowly CLK200.
Glad to have you on board mate. Love the shape of the CLK, went in a CLK 6 cylinder diesel once and it span the rears pulling onto the motorway.. loved it!
Bit of a tank after the light and nimble MX5, and of course you can't put the roof down. Nice sound though. It'll be a bit harder (OK a LOT harder!) on the wallet, but if it's what blows your skirt up - great!

Beautiful machine,I've always loved a fast coupe ever since having a ride in my friends dad's BMW M635CSI when I was 12 and been blown away by how fast and comfortable it felt compared to most other cars in 1989.
Your new car will be fantastic on some sweeping roads with fast bends and crossing continents quickly, I would love to see some videos along those lines?
Still think my Mr2 roadster will be more fun on the tight twisties though 😉. Looking forward to the new content.

Just noticed that your black AMG emblem on the back is the pre-facelift one with two angled legs on the A. The correct AMG logo on the facelift W204 is the new AMG logo like you have in the door sills with 1 straight and one angled leg.
Good car 👏👏 but mx5's are more than just a car it' has a great community following so I'm sticking with mine.😊

What an awesome car!
So different from the MX5 - not my choice, but I hope you enjoy your high speed period in life - the only roads I ever drive on, have a maximum speed limit of 70mph or less - but most blokes go through these phases in their early years, at least it's not a motor bike.
Maybe you could make some videos where you do some advanced driving lessons, or go to a skid pan etc. Not only great content, but a car like this could get you into trouble really quick. I'm still planning to do similar, partly just for the experience and partly so I can become a better, safer, quicker driver with skills to push hard, and get out of trouble if I need to!
I did a BikeSafe course with Suffolk Police, and not only was it loads of fun, it taught me a few very helpful bits and bobs too.
Love this idea! Went in with an advanced driving instructor at my old work and it was awesome!

You'll miss the light weight and nimbleness of the MX-5.
Made by the same guy who made my engine, i have an oil leak too at the moment, dont know yet where from. He made the engines for the sls too i think
Apparently he is some kind of AMG legend. The plaque actually says his name (and I can’t read his signature) Uwe Gamber. I believe he still works at AMG and is one of the best. I read somewhere that customers request/wait for his engines on the production line.

A great car with a great sound track, a word of warning, a neighbour of ours had one he was a bit of a dick and became an even bigger dick showing off in it to his mates.
The tyres were £500 each for the rears when I had one 6 years ago .

Love watching all your vids. But got to be honest, I'm not really a fan of the new motor. Undoubtedly a monster of an engine but it's just a bit too lairy and in your face. I don't think you'll have as much fun as the nc as you can't really push it to the edge unless you're ok with putting your life on the line and you'll be hesitant because in the back of your mind you'll know how much it's worth. Sorry to be negative, it was just my feelings a few years back when I did a similar thing. 😁 Hope you have fun though 👍

You can never be scared of pushing an automobile (under 500 whp) unless you’re in high school or a highly incompetent driver. You can’t drive a little Mazda forever !
@@6.3amgt70 if all you do is drive in straight lines then no it's not scary as you put it. But what I'm getting at is that I don't think you can take a car of that power and weight to its limits of traction in cornering on public roads with as much confidence that you can control it and not total it, as the mx5. For me, that's where all the fun is.

Miata to AMG? My understanding is that AMGs are not the most reliable or affordable to repair.. how much does this thing weigh? Why not just get a Porsche at this point? Hope you are happy- certainly not the route I think I will be taking after my NC
Agreed, I would personaly go for a 997 carrera but everyone has their preferences...
Maybe a Porsche is on the cards for the future. But Porsche parts cost more than C-class parts 😂

Its fast, it sounds cool, but it is ugly , horrible color. And the steering wheel is on the wrong side lol, as long as you like it , that is what counts.

All I can recommend is healthy diet and weekly exercise. Don’t overwork and make sure that friends and family come first. Sudoku or a good crossword book helps me to switch off. Don’t forget early nights and a big breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day. A happy belly is the key to a happy life 👌

You did miss the point I didn’t say about being in one or driving one “nice block”. I said the looks are soulless and pretty much the same stuff that’s been doled out for the last 20 years by these 3 company’s. The last thing that I can recall that moved me visually was the 8series. The main point is they are very same across the board
