Good video. I've found the safest contact wash method for me is to use a one bucket and multiple mitts. If I take a mitt out of the wash bucket, it doesn't go back in. I put the used mitt into an empty bucket and grab a new one. When I'm done drying, and putting on whatever last step product I use, all of the towels, applicators, etc. go into that empty bucket and I pour the leftover soap into it and let them soak for hours before I put them in the washing machine. If any of the products I've used contain SiO2, it keeps it from cross-linking. This helps t maintain the mitts, towels, applicators for peak performance!
The most satisfying thing about cleaning out the liftgate jambs and such is when you go to the store and open the gate. Seeing it all nice & clean inside. So satisfying! Another great video guys. I don’t know how I went all those years without a pressure washer keeping my cars clean. Really wish you would quit making my Adam’s wash bucket obsolete with that BAD-ASS double bucket. I see another $500 order coming my way from your warehouse and the eye roll from my partner when she sees ANOTHER Adam’s box at the door. Have all 5 of our vehicles now coated with Adam’s Graphene. Joe would think I was nuts getting my new Model X on a lift and ceramic coating the battery cover. Hey Joe said I could coat anything painted, so I did, even the underside of the hood & fender jambs. Hey makes more sense to do it when it’s clean and new!
Lots of good info in this one! I use a steam cleaner for the jambs, then hit it with detail spray... I'm not as slick with my pressure washer aim as Adam lol
Great video. Great tips about using the pressure washer in the door jambs and rear lift gate or trunk. When starting the wash process, do you guys ever pre treat with like a rinseless product or diluted APC? I typically make that my first step. Next, the pressure rinse and lastly the foam cannon. I always feel like the pretreat does a little extra to break down dirt and grime. Then the pressure rinse, in theory, can be more effective. The other thing I typically do is use one mitt for the top section of the car and a separate mitt for the lower and dirtiest portions.
I've got a black car and drive 150 Highway miles a day. It seems like every week I have to decontaminate the lower Half of both sides of my vehicle ( Even with mudflaps And a fresh ceramic coating..) Is that normal?
I appreciate the advanced Graphene spray coating video on the engine bay. Can you go over other use cases for it. Rubber floor mats, fender liners (both felt or plastic). Can you spray on and let dry and self level on fender liners and floor mats? And can you use it on felt fender liners like you can use it as a convertible top protector (same application or spray on and let dry)?
Don't pre rinse. 1. Foam cannon. 2. Let it dwell. 3. Rinse off. 4. Foam cannon again. 5. Proceed to gently wash with multiple clean mitts. I usually use 6 to 8 mitts. 6. Rinse off. 7. Blow dry with drying gun or leaf blower. 8. Finish drying with edgeless microfiber towel.
Adam has been washing for 42 years and is very precision when spraying the pressure washer in the door jambs. Would it be better for a beginner to wash the door jambs with Hoseless Wash?
They have (had) it. The updated version to Rinseless Wash is called Hoseless Wash. They also have a ready to use version called Waterless Wash that's used slightly differently. Both work great!
I am not allowed to wash my car on my driveway in my area. I might be able to get away with it if the shampoos and chemicals are biodegradable. Are your product biodegradable?
@@217Jeezy No, this is a bylaw from the city. They say any chemical shouldn't be washed down the storm drain in the street as the storm water goes directly in the lake untreated. Next house I will build an oversized garage with center drain connected to the sanitary.
I feel like you guys keep on discrediting the DI tanks. the whole purpose of the DI tank is 0 PPM. so sun does not matter. water drying does not matter. the water will not spot. If your going to say oh even with a DI tank be careful and do this and that well than getting the DI tank is pretty pointless.
I came here to comment this exact thing. Nothing like discrediting one of the imo best pieces to add in your car wash setup and the fact they sell their own brand of di system blows my mind
Work fast or use rinseless wash with distilled water and a QD that can be used in sun. Later go back with something ceramic either QD or CS3 when sun goes down.
Yeah who cares… wash it like crap…. Beat it all up… make your polishing and compounding more difficult… this literally might be the dumbest video I’ve seen on the internet.. smh Adam’s…

I do the same, I also find that using more mitts makes it more worthwhile to use the washing machine for all the towels haha
I also add vinegar to the soapy water and let all the rags and mitts soak overnight before washing.

Best product to keep my ride clean and shiny! Thank you for this video. Not all of us have the pro tools used!
Such a solid video; especially the prep aspect of washing! Thanks for the great content! Adam’s is a fantastic company!
Do you ever polish inside door jambs? I always have--I figure whatever areas the carmaker protected with paint and clearcoat should be polished.

I always get nervous letting the soap dry like that. Lol.

The 2 mitt method has been a game changer for me, both for safety from scratches and for speed

great information. Thanks Don
Awesome vid. Especially the drying part.
I think your car shampoo is the best and it is all I use. The mitt trick is right out of my play book. 🇨🇦👍👍

Blast away, thug. You can turn off your pressure washer to have less “pressure” and GPM but still accurate and powerful.
Good video. Looks like Adam was having a great day!
I always just spray my mitt out with the pressure washer
Great job guys 🧽
should not pre rinse the vehicle and instead use the foam as the pre wash
Which wash bucket is that? Love it.
That's the Premium Detailing Bucket
Are you guys working on a rinse-less wash?

Is that a HOA rule?

My driveway is full sun full time. 😢
Same

Wash in the morning or evening, and add in the Deionizer to reduce water spitting issues
Got you beat. I've been washing cars for 51 years.
