If you look at the Zeff Class D designs, from the Audiocontrol stuff to the ARC stuff, he's got a tried and true layout that he typically goes with. He's using it here.
I like the small size and setup for xovr ....but do not like those cheap plastic rca dongles..1..too close to incoming power input which increases subject to noise ..2..after clipping them in i noticed they are pretty weak and movable which means breakage easily can happend...in my experience adults and kids are rough on vehicles..this will be an issue
That brand doesn't deceive. It's pricey and delivers. I'd bet it does more than rated. Still, it would be cool to see a dyno on it. The problem is, I don't think Dean would dyno an amp on camera unless they were sent one and the company wanted it public.
@@JasonWW2000 yea ive done a few installs with them and have been very impressed with the output. Im getting ready to replace my 8.9bit with the forza m8.14 and 2 of the m1d's. Im just very curious to see how they do on the dyno
They basically showed that. You can set two channels for 4 ohm and two for 2 ohm. You'd get 165w and 210w roughly. Rated power is 150w 4 ohm and 180w 2 ohm.

9:55. If anyone wanted to know, the power supply is on the left side. The 4 gray cubes are shielded inductors. One for each channel output.
I love the Bob Morrow avatar…Bob was a wonderful friend and a great mentor.
Yeah, I miss Bob. I think about him every time I open one up.
Arc audio is amazing!
At a dollar per watt, they better be amazing! Lol
I'm always hearing good things about them. I got a couple myself to do listening tests with.
How about Dyno test Arc audio X2 2500.1.
Destined to blast highly distorted midrange at a stoplight near you.

This is designed for motorcycle use and those pigtails will be a lot less susceptible to damage than RCA's built into the amp in that application.
Let’s gooo been waiting for someone to dyno the 720.
I don’t like it. Get an Excelon instead.
No bridged dyno numbers?
could you do a dyno run of the audison forza M1D? i'd love to see if it really makes 1200 at 1 ohm

I would have been curious to see a run with the staggered power. Otherwise a compact powerful amp.

@@JasonWW2000 good call.
