Ive been an athiest my whole life but reciently have found something that speaks to me in gnostic christianity. The parellels to contemporary science and the contridiction in traditional christianity. I might just have something to believe in outside myself for once and I think its wonderful.
Be careful. Anything external that you put your trust in can deceive you. As a hardcore seeker of many years, I would suggest you look for all the answers INSIDE, by getting in touch with your inner awareness. You are the divine creator being, do not sell yourself cheap for some false promises as you will end up being lured into the religious mess. Seen it too many times!
I think it's worth mentioning that Jesus did not come here to start a religion. Any thoughts one may have about how man handles his relationship with God is certainly different. Why so many denominations? Your walk with Jesus is a personal one. It's so personal it's nobodies dam business but your own. What you choose to share is also personal. In the end, it's just going to be you and God. Nobody you listened to about god will be there to defend you. You need to decide what is true and what is not.
It seems that many if not most people are not ready, or not interested, in a true spiritual path.. Church is usually a social control system, not a place for spiritual guidance or to recieve information.
You are absolutely correct, Jesus had no intention to create a religion. Based on what he received during his formative years, between the age of 12 and 30, in India, Persia, and Egypt, he was teaching against religion and was very critical of the sacerdotal class.
Jesus didn't come to start a religion? Why then did he say: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will BUILD MY CHURCH, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." ? Matthew 16:18
I was raised as a Catholic and it was unthinkable to question the Bible's teachings. As an adult, I have come to realize that what we know as Christianity was a political move by the Roman empire to keep people in line and repurpose pagan beliefs into Christian ones. The Catholic church gradually added more unrealistic aspects to its doctrine: Mary Magdalene was a prostitute and adulterer, Mary the mother of Jesus was not only a virgin but was conceived without original sin. These teachings have done nothing more than diminish women's roles in the Christian faith.
I too was raised catholic. questioning the tenets was considered heretical. In my opinion, I believe the catholic hierarchy sees questioning as resisting control. To me that is what Catholicism is all about. The amassing of power and wealth through the control of the masses who are kept blind.
Katherine, you have leapt from one misunderstanding to another. 1) The Orthodox Christian Church of the year 150CE eventually became the Christian Church of Rome under Emperor Constantine in the year 365CE as the result of Constantine's dream in which his army was victorious in the battle that made him emperor, marching under a banner that combined the Christian cross with the image of the sun god Helios, whom Constantine worshiped. Constantine ordered the bishops of the Christian Church to present him with a formal doctrinal statement, upon which Constantine sanctioned the Church, ending State persecution and bringing the Christian Church into Roman culture. 2) The confusion of Mary Magdalene with the prostitute Jesus saved from being stoned is a confusion of the laity and not a doctrinal position of the Church. The history of the Catholic Church includes many female Saints and Doctors of The Church, among the most famous being Theresa of Avila and Katherine of Sienna. 3) The history of Christianity and all its variations and off-shoots is quite complex, worthy of years of study in both its history and theology. That would include the esoteric understandings of the Immaculate nature of Mary The Mother, and the virgin birth. As a beginning, you might examine the notions of, "You become what you do," and the transformation of being that marks a completely new person, exemplified by Saul of Tarsus changing his name to Paul the Apostle, to signify that he was no longer that other fellow. In the esoteric studies and practices of theologians, mystics and contemplatives, these notions are both deep and broad, and are within the vast realms of psychology and transcendentalism.
@@EternalRecursion Wasn't it Pope Gregory, who, in the 6th century CE declared that Mary Magdalene was a "sinful woman"? That belief would continue until Pope Paul VI, in the 20th century, deemed that she had not been a sinful woman . So Mary Magdalene spent 1,400 years being considered a sinful woman.
I've been studying Gnosis for over 60 years, ever since my grandmother told me I once would have been burned at the stake for asking my catholic school nuns and priests my many heretical questions. Naturally then I immediately began addressing myself to the smoking remains of heretics and their infernal doctrines. I tell you this in order to congratulate you and thank you for giving us the finest synopsis of the Gnostic texts I have heard to date. Achieving such a complete overview of these, often times confounding writings in less than 12 minutes is astonishing ! The accompanying graphics and your speaking voice are at once marvelous and enchanting. I shall now subscribe and begin exploring the rest of your content while stoking up the Bar B Q.

The Darkest teaching of the Gnostic Gospels was left unmentioned! It is that Yahveh (Jehovah) is the *demiurge* who pretends to be the Supreme God, and, essentially being a usurper, hence is very insistent that you worship only him and no other (see the first 4 commandments).
@@matriputra2624 the gnostics also believed that not everyone had this "spark", or "Christ". That's also what a lot of people are sort of leaving out when venturing into gnosticism. They were kinda culty to be honest. They held their services in secret and didn't share their beliefs. It was only for the people they felt understood this knowledge. It reminds me a bit of scientology, if I'm going to be totally honest.
@@matriputra2624 Jehovah was the God of the Hebrews, Christ Jesus is the God for all mankind. Of course only those who accept the Christian event understand this, but the apostle Paul said it best" there is no jew nor gentile, no slave nor freeman, male nor female, for all are free in Christ Jesus " Galatians.
I prefer gnosticism to regular christianity. It makes much more sense. But why title this video "The Darkest Teachings.." ? That makes no sense at all.
This all makes perfect sense to me, it all lines up with what I feel in my heart is the truth. Jesus was never meant to be an idol, he was used as a tool, and his message distorted into a control tactic. Worshipping Jesus in that way is actually sacrilege.
@@stypa1717 stop, regardless of any divinity or religion, Jesus was real. This isnt a religious thing, you can ignore all of it, he was a real person, its like saying Socrates, Aristotle, or the giga chad Diogenes never existed. Some individuals had a lot of warrant to be remembered back then, especially with how fucking insane recording them was. It wasnt until maybe a few decades after the printing press did spreading knowledge via text outside of oral become normal.
I struggle to see what side of the dichotomy that "Jesus" was on. More accurately named Yahusha or Yeshua Ben Joseph...Did he sit at the right hand of Yaoldabaoth, or was the Gospel of Judas right? Is he the aeon cristos aka autogenes from the pleroma and he actually denounces Yaldy Baldy as a true God in a pleromic sense? It's hard to know for sure because scripture has been malevolently canonized for so long now as a form of control, spiritual misdirection, and confusion. Which makes sense, if the dumbass Romans brutalized his physical body, why would they not also try to destroy his character and his message by repackaging it as something else aka the council of nicaea
Autogenes as Jesus can also be looked at from a jungian archetype way and make sense as well which is cool but abrahamic faiths are all likely just archontic deception from their original source and onward

@@zb496 What makes sense to one person may not make sense to someone else, depending on that person life experience. The human brain is a place for processing sensory information. It is also a transceiver for information from the collective Conscience, or the Universal mind of which each human is an aspect. It could be said and has been, by some people, that the Universal mind which all humans are connected to, is "GOD". That we we create GOD as a collection of spiritually focused minds. That having so many minds now on Earth makes GOD more powerful, and our thoughts have more power to create greater positive change because their are more of them. This is why I believe non spiritual people, those trapped in the materialistic view of reality, may play a lesser role in the Universal mind than others who are intrinsically a spiritual nature, the light as it were of GOD, and it is those materialistic souls, who would prefer that there were fewer people on the planet to contribute to positive change, using directed or focused thoughts, which has a spiritual basis.
Yes, this made sense to me! Modern christians don't understand that the dozens (or hundreds) of different types of christianity resulted from Jesus being fully happy with Judaism and never giving rules and beliefs for a new religion. So their version of christianity evolved from the easy-believism that was catholicism which focused more on the teachings of Paul than the teachings of Jesus, Gnosticism was one of the earliest forms of christianity that was for deep thinkers and truly spiritual people, not the hypocrites that gravitated towards the popular forms of christianity.
Jesus was at odds with the Temple priests and so was his brother James. Jesus was arrested by the Temple guard and James was killed by being thrown off the roof of the Temple.
I was once very puzzled by a story in the bible and tried to examine it from many sides. On its surface the story did not seem to align with who Jesus Christ was supposed to be. After a month of pondering, every night before bed, suddenly, for a brief moment Jesus let me see thru his eyes, I saw the event as he had seen it…. And then I understood. Jesus is available if you are earnestly seeking. 💖
Gnostic does not challenge Christianity because grifters only pick out a few pages to talk about, but they ignore the real strange, dark stuff that you will find if you read the books yourself.
I was born knowing many of these things but was told to not call myself by any religious name. Names can be hijacked by evil, just like Jesus's name was.
So called “experts” are still dismissing the gospel of Thomas while quoting from it regularly from mostly Matthew, and Peter, John etc. Jesus said, I have cast fire on the world and see, I am guarding it until it blazes. The fire was the want for truth in the heart of man. The religious authorities wanted that fire extinguished as it was a threat to their power and wealth. Despite what the current “experts” are preaching, I study and follow the gospel of Thomas daily, and have a close relationship with and live for Jesus. It has changed my life. All glory goes to God.
This definitely makes sense to and resonates with my ideas of spirituality. I've long held ideas about the confluence of humankind's 'spiritual' nature and modern physics. I've recently reached the conclusion that the material world is truly ephemeral. When in fact there is more space than actual matter, we are really nothing more than thought in imagined bodies. Thank you. I will be diving into gnosticism going forward.
I'm thinking this is why the Gnostics spoke unfavorably about 'matter', not that there really is such a thing as hard, inert, solid objects. They probably realized it's spirit or consciousness that's been made to sink low on the vibrational scale, which is an imprisonment for it just as it is for us in these bodies.
Check out "The Hidden Gospel of Thomas". by William G. Duffy. He uses Coptic and Gnostic texts. There is a difference in his interpretations in his commentary. He believes Jesus' quotes should be interpreted from a non-dualistic perspective and makes excellent observations in his research and comments. I'm about 3/4 through the book and it is by far the best book on Jesus' teachings or any spiritual teachings I have read. I've been reading books about spirituality for a good 50 years.
This made sense to me based on what I already knew before watching the video. The Gnostics are the true torchbearers of Jesus real teachings. The original Christians would refer to those who have created today's Christian religion by the appellative 'Adversaries.' The adversaries of genuine Christianity, which was a school of thought and not a religion, have betrayed Jesus and his message from the inception of the today's Christian church. The main reason why that happen was that Jesus was teaching actually against religion. In the Gnostic churches women were receiving the same consideration med did. They were very active in the debates, and as even Paul acknowledges in one of the texts included in the Bible, with him too being a Gnostic, women were often leaders of the community, respected teachers.
@sorellman this view is not historically supportable. Gnosticism arose later when Christianity came into contact with Greek culture. Gnosticism was an ahistorical appropriation of Jesus christ by people whose worldview was based on neoplatonic philosophy. They just superimposed their existing beliefs onto Jesus. Paul's gospel creed in 1 corinthians 15:1-5, is acknowledged even by critical atheist Bible scholars as dating from within a decade of Jesus' death, probably within a couple of years. This creed verifies early belief in the atoning death and physical resurrection of christ, proving that this was the earliest and original Christian belief. The full teaching that biblical Christianity is based on was in writing before 70 Ad. By comparison there's no evidence that any gnostic " Christian " writings existed before the middle of the 2nd century. Academic consensus agrees on gnostic gospels as pseudopigraphical , dating to 2nd ,3rd and 4th century. The new testament writings are the earliest and most widely attested witness to the life and eachings of Jesus. This isn't in dispute. There's a lot of misinformation on this subject.
Christian doctrine is known as Pauline theology. Saul/Paul never met Jesus and admitted that he had no clue what he taught. That's why he just made stuff up. Jesus' disciples were so incensed at Saul/Pauls lies that they angrily confronted him to cease and desist. [This is why he fled to Greece] Saul/Paul was called out as a liar so often that he leaped to his own defense by saying 'How can my lies be a sin if it furthers the glory of God?' [Rom 3:7] Lying for the Lord is seen as perfectly acceptable by far too many Christians over the years.
@@paulgrey8028 Paul was not a church theologist. Most everyone knows today he was a Gnostic, and that when he abandoned Judaism, he abandoned religion all together. Jesus too was teaching agains religion, and despised the sacerdotal class. You have no idea what the verse quoted by you is saying and why is there. Paul makes the case agains the very thing you try to pin on him. This is the complete quote: "Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say-as some slanderously claim that we say-“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!" He makes a point by proposing a hypothetic situation, and his argument is, that even if your lie "enhances God's truthfulness," it is justified to condemn that: "Their condemnation is just!" The emerging church, also know as the church of the Adversaries of genuine Christianity, the church of the "holy lying", which is precisely what Paul is criticizing here, hated Paul with a passion, the same way he hated Jesus and Mary Magdalene's message, for exposing their corruption and their ignorance. Other than that, Paul did not flee to Greece, as you claim. He went three times to Greece to do missionary work on behalf of the Gnostic school. You must be a Catholic, or someone who is running his own religious scheme. Your comment is a collection of vile lies.
@@sorellman ah right, so you believe that every other Christian has been deceived and only your version is correct. Sad and quite delusional. Just like your interpretation of Rom 3:7. It's very straight forward what Saul/Paul is saying; "So why are my lies a sin if they further Gods glory" but I guess since it's a free world you can pretend that it means whatever your fantasy dictates I guess. That you think that truth is "vile" speaks volumes.
@@paulgrey8028 please don't cherry pick quotes out of context. If you read the rest of Romans, it is clear that Paul was discussing circumcision and the hypocrisy of some circumcised Jews. You should know that Paul was defending against accusations that he was lieing, when he said that uncircumscised gentiles also could be righteous to God.
When I was in seminary decades ago, it occurred to me that, if Jesus was “destined” to die on the cross and Judas’ actions led to that, then he was, in fact, facilitating the culmination of Jesus’s mission. My query regarding this didn’t go over very well….
Great video. I wish more Christians would venture outside and question what they have been taught, and cease to trust or believe, out of hand, that the people who assembled the biblical canon did so with no selfish motive.
I agree. But many Christians calls Gnosticism "Satanic"! For the simple reason that in Gnosticism you are a co-creator and our souls are sparks of perfection but with a fog of amnesia of our true soul origin. We are not free beings on this planet. We have both the Archons and the ET Orion group who ruled this planet as a prison for 200 000 years.

I've had many miracles in my life since that I cannot explain. I have been plagued with disorders since I was a kid. I do not have seizures anymore, I am not bipolar with severe deprssion any more. I beat diabetes! My mood is always steady, I am not moody. I'm in control of my emotions! I can tell because my dogs and cats respond to me well. They are happy animals because I am happy. I am much better with animals! We walk 7 days a week, and I do a variety of other exercises. My doctor says I am in phenominal health for my age. I'm probably her star patient! I do not follow man's religion, I follow God. I observe the Lord's sabbath day which is Saturday. And it all seems to be working out well for me so far. I feel good! The only thing that depresses me is what is happening in our country, America at the present. And you all know what I am talking about. I think we are witnessing the battle between good and evil. Gnosticism is new to me and a revelation. It makes the Christianity we know appear anaemic and wanting in authenticity. Sanitized as well as somewhat twisted and disingenuous. Along with thus being the more intellectual satisfying 'grown-up' version of what we know, aspects of Gnosticism tantalise with a spiritual appeal which integrity leaves me no choice but to explore further despite the fact that I have, up to now, been pretty comfortable in my own skin in this regard.
I agree. I am ✡️ by religion, studied Kabbalah which led to spiritualism. After studying western religion, I concluded that Jesus was a spiritual Rabbi years ago. I am grateful for this wealth of knowledge finally being shared! Thank You! 🙏🏻❤️🦋
Look further we still have 13 moons in a calander year. Way back there were 13 signs in the zodiac. 13 was a spiritual number; culture has altered this and currently precieve it to be evil.
Yes. Pope Leo X remarked "How well we know how profitable this fable of Christ has been for us." Since this was witnessed and recorded by a church historian, the RCC does not deny the quote but rather, try to convince that old Leo meant other than he said.
It made sense to me. In my early "current church" encounters, I loved my comrades. But totally conflicted by the subtle hate & arrogance in these preached beliefs
How do we research this further? How can we find out what texts were omitted at the 1st Council of Nicea? Just knowing what was omitted would give us direction of what to be looking for.
We approach gnostic christianity in the same way as the authoritarian catholic model, that is, how should we THINK about it? What is the model? What are the characteristics? The revolutionary gnostic approach is to look in a different place, not looking primarily in THOUGHT or BELIEF, but WITHIN. Looking within generally requires some type of meditation just in order to still the busy mind and emotions so that the underlying substratum may be revealed. Whatever is said about it will always be limited just because conceptual language can not adequately express subjective reality. This is apparent with love. Love is subtler than the thinking mind, poets write about love for eons, but everything said about love is a limited abstraction.
I'm a rare stone collector in Brantford Ontario Canada, some stones are transparent quartz. You illuminate them with a flashlight 🔦 and they reveal Inscriptions and images no one knew were there. Basically they took the natural form of the "CRYST" and changed the image of God. The Art itself is disguised by nature's original style.
The flaw was in Sophia wanting to create life without the approval of god and a male angel. She conceived without both. She then gave birth to demiurge which was a flawed being and casted her child into a realm by himself because this being was alone it believed that it was the only thing to exist. The demiurge felt lonely which gave birth to material world, Adam & eve and so on
This is the Cosmic play of duality..For a world to manifest their is a need for the opposites..For good needs evil as heat needs cold etc..All is one and perfect but appears dualistic...All is One..
“It Makes Sense To Me”. I have been studying the bible and other religions during my retirement, (21 years). In that time I have learnt a lot, but so much of it causes other avenues of investigation all with their own vagaries and complexities. Thank you for this post for me it is pivotal in my studies. I come across the gnostic gospels a few years ago after I was already trying to dissolve the lower consciousness, simply because I became sensitive of the pain that’s caused by Time terms concepts conditions, and trying to make life better instead of laying it down. The hermetic principles apply to the mechanics of the natural world where nothing is constant and everything is filtered through the central nervous system people who believe that they have a handle on reality or dying on the. Carnal perception, not realizing how narrow it is. We do not even proceed a half percent of the electromagnetic spectrum. Earth is a plane.-t of frequency. I don’t just visit this view here and there I live it every day I’ve overcome addiction to morphine/heroin and benzodiazepines. I haven’t mastered emotions or anything like that yet although I do not react the way I used to. I’ve endured the loss of two very close family members this year and I was trying to reconcile everything instead of laying it all down and turning away from it. The strange thing is I’ve been having very hyper realistic, symbolic dreams that really made sense of everything, but I also keep getting these nostalgic memories of when I was a small child or maybe beforebirth. I don’t know, but things are happening for sure.
@LAStars-sratS That's your perception, and you're entitled to that, but I seem to figure things out weeks before I watch a video that verifies it, but thanks for the comment. Haters are always going to hate but it's pointless to do that because you're just hindering your own growth with envy Anger and jealousy. But it's OK for someone to be wiser than another because there's always someone wiser than one's self.

Good question! If we consider each universe as a unique expression of a particular aspect of the divine or cosmic order, it’s possible to draw a parallel between these universes and the 12 zodiac signs. Each universe could embody the qualities and energies associated with one of the zodiac signs. For instance, a universe corresponding to Aries might be characterized by dynamic energy, conflict, and initiation, while a universe corresponding to Pisces might be more mystical, compassionate, and concerned with dissolution and transcendence. This idea aligns with the Gnostic notion that the material world is a reflection or distortion of higher realities. The 12 zodiac signs, as reflections of cosmic principles, could correspond to 12 different realms or universes, each with its own distinct characteristics.
@@KammiNeko What sign would our own universe relate to? Is it one of the 12? I would guess Capricorn, or Scorpio? Can I leave this one and go to another?
Yes and this is where we've been manipulated for centuries in getting us all arguing about which religion is 'the one true path to god'.. when there are many paths. Although gnostic texts were deliberately suppressed for thousands of years.. People over the centuries worked very hard to keep the truth from being destroyed and they were executed for it. We honour them as their sacrifice was not in vain.
The fact there are multiple universes create a whole new understanding of us today. Infinity is without start or finish . Endless are then the possibilities within our universe. Stop looking for A God in a cloud, you personally are the nearest thing to a god like state. Looking for a God creator is looking in the wrong places. You are god so now you know that look inward not out ward learn yourself. In doing so you will grow more powerful than you ever thought you could be . The duality is simple father’s sperm and mother’s egg . You a two parts making one you. We are also part Anunnaki. Like it or not evolution was messed with . That is why people look to a creator being . We are one messed up species. There is a god in you , and that’s what matters.

Much needed information today … as Yeshua said: "My people get lost because of lack of knowledge." Appreciate bringing this out, again. I have always thought physics and religion worked hand in hand. This is the first time i have even watched anything about the gnostic texts and it is crazy/nice seeing my belief is actually a part of them!! I would love to be able to witness if they ever prove string theory, and prove the existence of multiple universes/parallel dimensions.
I absolutely believe in the Gnostic way of thought. I am very interested in studying and learning more about the Gnostic way, and views. That you for these great vids. Peace
I'm "spiritual" so I shall describe. Most importantly I'm ascetic. My path is Spiritual Enlightenment (salvation in Christian terminology). My focus is service to humanity and raising my vibration to align with 5th dimensional reality. I am spiritually awakened which means I see behind the veil of illusion I was incarnated with therefore I see the condition programming and am aware of my infinite soul which is love. I gain spiritual wisdom from all sources including the Bible. A cheat-sheet for a "spiritual" person is The 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva by Togme Zangpo. Follow it and you too will be spiritual! And a Christian! (I had to repost this comment bcs the original account I posted it from appears to be shadowbanned)
Very good question. In general, "spiritual" has to do with things pertaining to the spirit.... like your soul. There are two parts of you. One is the body/mind, which is material, the other is your spirit, which is immaterial and the true you. Think of spirit as the energy that lives in the body.
All the words placed in use to describe the material which ; your Soul & Heavenly Realms & Manifestation s.....are composed of....are just an effort ,it cannot be understood..... Two Major power s we experience; Satanic & Angelic..... One works on our senses . We have 5 senses.
Spirit is like intuition ´ ´imagination- qualities that can’t be measured or seen but are of enormous value. Some people use soul and spirit as the same thing. Because the world is riddled by Capitalism, things that can’t be seen or measured are belittled. But they are the greatest qualities of the human being. Jesus spoke often in parables- simple stories that could be understood by all. Stories which could be heard by the mind, but also understood at a deeper level by the spirit/soul.
The Word Spirit literally means To Breathe You become a Christ by controlling and directing the energy contained within your Breath (The Holy Spirit) Balancing the Breath flow is how you open up the 7 Seals and stimulate the Pituitary and Pineal Glands to make the Milk and Honey which Anoints you This is done in The Bridal Chamber or Ark of the Covenant
Yes. It makes sense. Since I began listening to the Mythision channel; I understand more than ever before. I can now make sense of much more than I ever could before. Surprisingly; a very a solitary place to be in life.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT)For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
In reading the early church fathers like Ireneus and Clementine of Alexandria and Polycarp, who was the disciple of John one of the original disciples.... There is a story that Polycarp told of being with John at a bathhouse when a gnostic entered, and John urging for he and Polycarp to flee from there right away "lest the very roof collapse upon us." John did not feel that the Gnostic understood or was proclaiming the truth about Jesus and his nature and what he was teaching.
Hindu teachings also describe a multiverse cosmology, so the "ancient" people may have had far more knowledge that we are just now catching up with. But such is the cyclic nature of things.
It made sense considering you condensed hours and hours of explanation in under 12 mins.. The Heavenly Father has many names. The form of the formless being one and another being The body of the incorporeal. This gives the understanding and insight into how he brought forth his own body before anything else. Then he sent forth his Word, which incarnated as Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He then sent forth his Holy Great Invisible Spirit. Everything else was created. And from these creations, more creations were made by the created. This universe was created in error by the created Sophia or Wisdom. She created Yaldebaoth. And Yaledbaoth created everything in this universe with lacking. Duality was set in motion by his ignorance of The Heavenly Father. The rest is hiSTORY. nicely narrated video.. Subbed to see more. ❤

When was he perfected? What does this mean? Who was he? What had become of him? What had he become? I guess we can consider when he was learning, when he was teaching, when his ministry began, what actually was his mission, when was he baptized (as much as it matters), and also when was his first recorded miracle. Read thoughtfully, considering every line, even various translations. Do not assume my point, yet, find your own understanding. (This is majority standard version.) Jn1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Luke2 The boy Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, but Joseph and His mother were unaware He had stayed.... When His parents saw Him, they were astonished. “Child, why have You done this to us?” His mother asked.... Jesus was advancing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and men. Then He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. Luke4 Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath. He stood up to read,...“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Heb5 So also Christ did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but He was called by the One who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.”... Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered. And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal (age-during) salvation to all who obey Him. Matt12 I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations. Phil2 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Luke6 For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. 1Cor12 No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. •†★
The Gnostics. I first read the Nag Hammadi in 1987. Gnosticism comes to us through ancient Thracian mysticism. Their level of ignorance regarding women, the Greeks, with their Thracian ancestors, worship of snakes, dragons, and love of all things male, would blame the imperfect universe on a feminine element. Uni, meaning one, is the name of the Etruscan great Mother goddess. This name is directly related to the Mitanni name Juni...Before light is matter, then sound, then light...even in spiritual matters. Adam, Male/female, came to bring agriculture, grains,...so that the animal man could leave his lower beast self, and bring a purpose grounded in God's representative purpose, for the biology, the living. Because it is hard, it was never meant to last forever, this school of life. Eve made that bridge possible...Gnosticism bias against the holy female divine, should only be relegated for the female gods over war, prostitution...or a castrated Phrygian, Thracian goddess whom the Romans adopted, Cybele.
@@dy6682 Nag Hammadi is the name of the place where the scrolls were discovered in 1945, not the title of a book. There is Robinson's Nag Hammadi Library, published for the first time in 1977. The rest of your comment is an incoherent word salad. Related to that, your nick is very, very funny. By the way, the Gnostics were anything but biased against the "holy female divine." After all, they were venerating Sophia, the Mother of the Living, the bearer of divine wisdom and of the feminine spirit in general. She was also considered Jesus' twin, when not one with Jesus, the Bride of Christ.
It makes perfect sense. It’s what I believe in. I just can’t believe that it’s been hidden for so long. I hope that people open their eyes and see the truth.
Read "The Gnostic Gospels" by Elaine Pagels, American historian of religion. She is the Harrington Spear Paine Professor of Religion at Princeton University. Pagels has conducted extensive research into early Christianity and Gnosticism. (Wikipedia)
The Coptic tradition saw Isis becoming Mary without problem, than Osiris - Horus becoming Jesus,,,and they have ancient hyerogliphic text saying: Our father ,the sun, wich is in heaven...aS prayer that seems much more older than we can admit...So human beleifs have been around for much more long than we are prepared to imagine...
Good outline of gnostic belief, nothing to do with the historical Jesus though. The gnostic gospels were written centuries later. They're mostly fictional conversations put into the mouths of "Jesus" and the apostles as a vehicle to teach preconceived greek/ roman gnostic ideas (eg. neoplatonism). Unlike the canonical gospels they have no historical credibility or evidence to support their authenticity. The claim that they represent a serious challenge to Christian doctrine or the nature of early Christianity is misleading.
Gnosticism is not Christianity in any way. It is separate cult that seeks to “improve “ on Christianity. It takes a small amount of scripture and runs wild with speculation and imagination. These writings were “marginalized “ because they a false, not Christian belief. Gnosticism has much more in common with Hinduism.
Jesus was a Gnostic Jesus taught that You will Do All the works that I have done and more Spiritual Knowledge can only come from Direct Experience The Word Gnosis means to Know what is

These four essential differences between the canonical or biblical Gospels and the Gnostic Gospels are a clear indication that the Gnostic Gospels are not authentically apostolic in their authorship, message and frame of time. The Gnostic Gospels are not reliable sources for the life and teachings of Jesus.

Be careful. Anything external that you put your trust in can deceive you.
Yes. In fact Jesus told his followers NOT to start any new religion based around him.
100%. A condensed version of the bible just says "Don't be a c###."
Also the silly gendering of an all encompassing infinite god as the "father" by nicaean dogma creators was likely a patriarchal agenda move aswell
Pope Gregory declared that Mary Magdalene was a "sinful woman" in the 590s.

[This is why he fled to Greece]
Saul/Paul was called out as a liar so often that he leaped to his own defense by saying 'How can my lies be a sin if it furthers the glory of God?' [Rom 3:7] Lying for the Lord is seen as perfectly acceptable by far too many Christians over the years.
This is the complete quote:
"Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say-as some slanderously claim that we say-“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!"
He makes a point by proposing a hypothetic situation, and his argument is, that even if your lie "enhances God's truthfulness," it is justified to condemn that: "Their condemnation is just!"
The emerging church, also know as the church of the Adversaries of genuine Christianity, the church of the "holy lying", which is precisely what Paul is criticizing here, hated Paul with a passion, the same way he hated Jesus and Mary Magdalene's message, for exposing their corruption and their ignorance.

A wonderful video, that completely aligns with my spiritual view.

How do we research this further?
How can we find out what texts were omitted at the 1st Council of Nicea?
Just knowing what was omitted would give us direction of what to be looking for.
How you can research this any further, for yourself? Just - "..lift a stone.."
I never knew I was a gnostic until falling into this rabbit hole. As I broke away from the teachings of man, alot started to make sense
I have a good friend that is a Harikrishna and I gotta say that this is all very familiar to what he describes in his religion.
If the 12 universe were originally perfect, how then could a flaw develop in them?

Do these 12 universes relate somehow to the 12 zodiac signs?
Can I leave this one and go to another?

hey im a Christian, what does "Spiritual" even mean? im genuinely curious becuz its contrasted with Material, and all i can tell is it means "Ghostly"

Two Major power s we experience;
Satanic & Angelic.....
Stories which could be heard by the mind,
but also understood at a deeper level by the spirit/soul.
The Word Spirit literally means To Breathe
You become a Christ by controlling and directing the energy contained within your Breath (The Holy Spirit)
Balancing the Breath flow is how you open up the 7 Seals and stimulate the Pituitary and Pineal Glands to make the Milk and Honey which Anoints you

They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
I can't say it made sense. I can say it causes curiosity. It causes me to know there are so many different ways to interpret everything.

So also Christ did not take upon Himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but He was called by the One who said to Him: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.”...
Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.

One can have human life with just one X chromosome...One cannot have human life with only one Y...The universe of this type of physicality and biology, was meant to be placed of learning, where the less developed and complicated can develop.

It made sense to me. Now how shall I face mass at church?! LOL
@@simibignall5688 With the new found knowledge 😊
Curious as to the source of this information ?
Gnosticism is not Christianity in any way. It is separate cult that seeks to “improve “ on Christianity. It takes a small amount of scripture and runs wild with speculation and imagination. These writings were “marginalized “ because they a false, not Christian belief. Gnosticism has much more in common with Hinduism.
Jesus was a Gnostic
Jesus taught that You will Do All the works that I have done and more
Spiritual Knowledge can only come from Direct Experience
The Word Gnosis means to Know what is
I agree
Where do I find a gnostic gospel book
@@brianlembcke9129 Go a library or a book store

These four essential differences between the canonical or biblical Gospels and the Gnostic Gospels are a clear indication that the Gnostic Gospels are not authentically apostolic in their authorship, message and frame of time. The Gnostic Gospels are not reliable sources for the life and teachings of Jesus.
Yes, I understand they are later than canonical Gospels and seem to be keen on attaching ‘majik’ stuff on to the emerging faith.
Yes, I'm aware of everything you mentioned as i have access to the material onna divine plane of experience n understanding. I know exactly what the Gnostic views and practices are and were. Thanks for sharing for others. Gratitude n blessings be❤
It made sens to me, it is corroborated by Vedic texts and is closer to the truth than biblical fairy tales used to shape humanity the way WOKE is used today
