Soil to Soul Restaurant: Regina Montium

In collaboration with Zurich food blogger Sarah Blattner (@zueriplausch), Soil to Soul introduces national restaurants that excel in the production and preparation of food with a conscious focus on the earth.
The Regina Montium restaurant is considered "Soil to Soul" for us because the team cares about people, animals, and the environment. They only use products that grow in Switzerland and from which they know the production methods. The nature cuisine exclusively relies on Swiss ingredients and highlights long-forgotten herbs from their alpine herb garden.
The terroir cuisine is located in the Edelweiss Kräuterhotel, situated at an altitude of 1550 meters on Mount Rigi, amidst an idyllic and legendary landscape, surrounded by a unique view.
Their philosophy is the daily pursuit of true enjoyment, using natural resources from our surroundings in harmony with people and nature.
Sarah Blattner takes us on a visit to the Kräuterhotel where she learns more about their philosophy, their garden, their kitchen, and their daily challenges through conversations with Gregor Voeroes (Managing Director of the Edelweiss Herb Hotel) and Benedikt Voss (Head Chef).
