    I love my conti's! There awesome in the rain also in dry conditions. My car doesn't slide or fishtail anymore like when I was running hankooks ventus tires.

    Ive had almost every brand of tire available in the USA..
    I have never been truly satisfied with any tire until i found how continental tires ride. Im an on road almost racer. Everyones in the way.. They drive too slow, accelerate slower than granny on the way to bingo, turn too slow and brake too soon. 9 vehicles and 12 sets of tires... I keep coming back to conti.. Worth the price every time.
    Scared of the price but i may just burn the wallet to see how good they are...

    Great series, very informative. Just ordered the Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06 for my 2004 Thunderbird and look forward to seeing how the car drives on them (replacing five year old Sumitomo HTR A/S). Hoping for better ride, less noise and better handling if the rear wheel drive T-bird gets caught in the rain.

    I just bought these for my BMW X1 3.5i see how they do, He's looking sane dude I didn't realize how good these are, your machine has just so much power and torque and then it's a little wet you might as well just test it see how they drift

    Just bought some today for my 16 lexus is 300. Coming from Michelin AS3 +. There way more quiet. I love the quiet smooth ride. I have a stagger set up. The Michelin where so loud. It just became unbearable. I got rid of them with plenty of tread left on them. It was extremely disappointing because Michelin make pretty good tires. Not for a stagger wheel base. Nice reviews

    Just bought a full set for my 335i xdrive. So far so good. I wanted the GT AS-05's but they didn't have the sizes I needed so went with the Conti's.

    Good video by the way, however where do you have your tire pressures settings at ?

    What tire sizes are you running..?
    I have a 2004 Mustang, with 'Bullitt Wheels'... I have the factory 17x8.5 front, and just changed to 18x10 on the rear.
    255/45 seems to be the largest I can run on front without rubbing something. Rear is 295/35 ... I put DWS06 on front and Sport on the rear...
    I replaced a set of Cooper Zeon tires (275/35x17 rr) .. I was Very pleased with the Cooper tires but they did not offer the sizes I needed for the 18" wheels. (We have almost NO snow here in the Atlanta area, but do get black ice because so many trees shade the road from sunshine.
    But I just put them on a couple of days ago, and haven't had a chance to go to the mountains with them, yet.
    But I can really tell the difference Tires Make in mid-speed handling! There is a road near me, that is a 'parkway'... with a divide in the middle and 2 lanes on each side. Ahh... If only there weren't those pesky pedestrians running and walking their dogs... LOL! But it is a Delicious section of road, going both ways. It is a continuous chicane of curves of different radius with up and down elevation changes...
    And I have 'skunked' a number of cars that "should" have been faster than my V6 Mustang, simply because of the GRIP I have in the long sweepers... especially the downhill sections. While they are dragging some trail braking... I just fly right by them.

    I live in Port Orchard (Kitsap Peninsula), and I'm really on the fence
    between the Conti-DWS 06 and the Michelin AS3+ for my 2018 Mustang GT.
    We get mainly tons of rain like up in Vancouver BC, but when we get that
    nasty winter snow, I'm not so sure about the Michelin AS3's now.. Also,
    black ice has me worried.

      Maybe too late as your post is 6 months old, but I've run both tires and the AS3's were terrible in the snow for me. Conti's MUCH better, and there's not much difference on dry roads. For me, the Conti's are far more versatile and a much better overall value with no sacrificing of performance. YMMV

    Definitely gonna get these for my 17 GT PP. How’s the rear tire wear compared to the front? I also have a staggered setup and my p-zeros are toasted in the back after only 10k miles

      So far these tires are wearing extremely well. Even wear or at least not noticeable to me.

    im waiting on the part 3 and 4 reviews i was hoping to get to see how you say it performs in the deep snows you get.

      Hi William. Last year we only got one big snow fall. It was unexpected and I was at my office with the car. I didn’t not have my camera gear unfortunately. I can tell you that while a mustang is not the best car to be driving in the snow I made it home with no issues. Granted I had to drive at a reduced speed I felt safe the whole time.

    That was cool. Had no idea you had no back seat in your Boss lol. Why did the dashboard flicker like that during your run?

    • @SeanMcGuigan
      @SeanMcGuigan  6 років тому

      Hi Emmanuel, The dash was flickering because of the frame rate of the camera. Same thing would happen if I filmed the headlight on a certain angle. Thank for watching!

    why all the lights flash in your dash and in your radio

    • @SeanMcGuigan
      @SeanMcGuigan  4 роки тому +1

      Just the refresh rate of the camera and the dash lights being at a different refresh rate.

    what does "06" stand for in a standard Continental Tire DWS "06"?

    • @OniMirage
      @OniMirage 6 років тому

      Sixth version/iteration. General Tire (GT) which Conti owns does the same thing for instance with AS-03 to the newer AS-05. Consumers don't always see every single version retail.

    Less than half the rim protection Michelin has...let the wife park the car along curb, expect wheel damage
