It's very common. I believe Angelo's in Philadelphia uses 2 different ovens for his pizza and his bread. Not sure if you tried Angelo's before, if not, it's definitely a bucket list place! Both for the pizza and cheesesteaks.
Room temperature in Rome works because the slices aren't dense and the pizza moves. What you ate was the bakery trying to sell something else and think because they make bread that they can make pizza...not so easy.
Hey Antonio , That pizza topping looked great, but I really wouldn't care to eat all that dough . What I like is that pasta in Vodka sauce, 'cause I've never tried Vodka sauce before. Now on my next trip to a Italian market, i'm going to get an order of that just to see how it tastes. Your dad is way younger than me. Ha , And better looking too. Ha, Chow ya' all !
Yeah, that definitely looks like way too much bread for a pizza, and not well aerated. If they would cut down the thickness and get it more airy, it might be better. I’ve never eaten the pizza quite like that and I don’t really eat pizza at room temp. I would think that if you make a pizza like that, you’d still need to serve it not long after cooling off or else the sauce would just get dried out.
They do that often in pastry shops. They do that with sfincione too, I recently visited a famous pastry shop, during my tour of the Santa Rosalia feast, on my other channel. The pizza was the only savory item available, and served at room temp.
I vibe with your dad. I'm sick of these apps as they're truly ruining society and making people narcissistic. Instead, we should be enjoying & cherishing the time we have with our loved ones, not recording our lives for all to see for clicks, likes and shares. Thankfully I dont have anyone I know who does this otherwise I wouldn't be hanging out of them. Socitry has normalized this behavior when it shouldn't be. Living life behind the lens isn't living in reality.
Well, perhaps you make a good point, but my nieces and siblings would love to see my parents 40 years from now in a video...even though my dad didn't think of it.
Sandwiches pretty good probably because its royal crown owners great chocolate bread they got and prosciutto bread brothers sicilians and Luigi's sicilians best
This spots in eltingville right gotta try it they own that artisan bakers by sharrots red. Looks like an interesting place. The pasta looked amazing, love me some vodka sauce.
That's exactly what I was thinking. The pizza looked more like a focaccia. The pasty and the rice balls looked great. Cheers, Antonio! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
You know that place is for sandwiches. I love the Bella Storia w balsamic glaze.
I had half of my mom's eggplant parm later that night, it was amazing. I wish I reviewed it.
I love the pignoli nuts cookies
I took home some S cookies.
Antonio’s dad shouldn’t get annoyed when the camera is on him. He’s a handsome guy
Haha, I should post of a photo of him when he was younger.
Yeah, without that crisp, it's more of a bread with sauce and cheese. Although, bakeries making pizza seem like a pretty natural thing in a way.

Oh man that pasta looked great. If I could get some shrimp with that then I would be in heaven
It had prosciutto. I do like shrimp with a pasta too. Perhaps a scampi...
I enoyed the video!

Possibly...yeah, it just didn't hit.
Interesting way you use the fork never seen anyone eat like that, anyway that slice you eat the cheese and tomato and discard the rest.

Haha, I'll let him know. If you are shopping for jarred vodka sauce, try Michael's of Brooklyn. That's my favorite brand of jarred vodka sauce.

Definitely looks filling, too bad it was not better!
Too thick and dry.

@@pizzareviewsonthego I fully agree with your point about recording Antonio.
We still have the personal choice to record, post, view, or not be involved with any of it.
More like a focaccine pizza (scone).

DaVinci's Pizzeria on 18th avenue in Brooklyn makes a great Sicilian too.
