This man tells you How to get the factory crimping tool off the hose. I literally squeezed it with the pliers and moved it around...and it came off. Every other channel skips this part, does it off camera, or cuts the hose, (so the hose doesn't fit anymore). Thank you!
Always use the second screw on the bottom of the valve. It really holds the valve in place securely. Without the second screw, the valve when literally move, and you can see it moving when the flush pedal is depressed.
You did a real disservice by acting like the factory hose clamp seal was simple to remove… opened two knuckles and still can’t get it off. So much for doing this on my own
Just got off the phone with Dometic trying to diagnose an issue as the bowl won’t hold water after replacing the seal. They acknowledged a manufacturing issue but won’t do anything about it. The two parts with the issue cannot be replaced and said the entire toilet would need to be replaced, at my expense. Basically, it’s a throw away POS! I’m shocked by their arrogance!

Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for showing how to replace the valve

Not sure what you did but it should come apart easily. It’s a very simple fitting.
Exactly what I needed to see! Quality video. Thank you very much!
Great video. Short and simple. Thanks.
Thank you I called a rc tech I was told I need a new toilet thanks I will be able to fix myself
Glad you will avoid buying a new toilet!
This valve too will start leaking. There is an valve on Amazon with 2 o'rings in the plunger housing. Bought 1 for my next leaker. And it's cheaper
Link?
New one leaks also
