Before understanding this topic in-depth let us understand the circulatory system of our body. Arteries carry blood from your heart to the rest of your tissues, and veins return blood from the rest of your body to your heart, so the blood can be recirculated. To return blood to your heart, which is a bit harder as the veins in your legs must work against gravity. Muscle contractions in your lower legs act as pumps, and elastic vein walls help blood return to your heart. Tiny valves in your veins open as blood flows toward your heart then close to stop blood from flowing backwards.
If these valves are weak or damaged, blood can flow backwards and pool in the vein, causing the veins to stretch or twist. These twisted, swollen, dilated veins are called varicose veins.
Risk Factors for Varicose Veins
-Prolonged Standing is one of the major reasons for varicose and in order to prevent varicose we can take a break or a short walk if you are standing for a long period.

Home remedy for Varicose veins

I am 28 years old and suffering from varicose vein which started after an injury to leg. I ignored swelling in ankle, after 4 years I started see dark veins. Laser Surgery might br effective only in inital stages. It's of no use after doing in 3rd or 4th stage. It's just a waste of money if done in later stages
