I met my fiancé when I was a lawn maintenance foreman ($20-$30,000 year salary)and I was assigned to a nursing home and she was a lpn ($50,000 yearly salary) I HELPED her through her obtaining a Nurse Practitioner license and she makes around $98,000 now(13 years later) I knew she was going to get a high scale pay raise and I went on to become a Spray Tech making $40-45,000 with doing hella overtime right now. She pays car insurance (buys policy)mortgage & phone bills (2 daughters and hers I have my company phone and vehicle)last mortgage payment is in March 2020) I pay electric,cable,water,gas,groceries. We have a clothing expense CC that she pays for also. I don’t pay for anything else. Never has she made me feel like I wasn’t the man. I even took a case for her. She constantly tries to encourage me to start my own small business doing what I do now. I know I have to step up but I love my workplace scenario (no worries,no manual labor,flexible hours and salaried). I never felt any type of way because I built that up (her being the breadwinner) all that feeling weird is insane to me. Nothing like opening up your trunk and 5 pairs of new kicks just because I took off work for my daughters flag football game. I may be spoiled but I HELPED MAKE IT POSSIBLE for that. Good day people
