It's the way you conducted the interview for me!!! You didn't try to demean him or project your views on him. You asked some questions that people would want to know and kept it cute and fun. I liked the flow. Nicely done. People don't have to agree with the way the way that he chooses to live his life but it's HIS life, worry about your own.

He's in his 40s, I believe, so you really have to think about the 90s and being a teenager in those years. Without social media, it was extremely hard to get discovered unless you already knew people. You really had to be outside somewhere, going places, putting in work in the 90s for people to notice you. Like nowadays, really since the 2010s, social media is the tool to get your work out to the world. You don't have to go anywhere. Just upload whatever it is you want to get seen. Credit to him for having that hustle mentality to get discovered by Will smith. It's hard to understand if you weren't alive back then.
In also because there were no social media and you had to go places, and do things to get discovered back then, you had to be able to make money somehow to even be able to travel to places like soul train, the Apollo show etc. Like again, nowadays you don't have to have any money to start. Just a computer or even a phone to upload your videos or work, etc. Just mentioning the fact how hard it was for people like him in the 90s. The ones who made it in the 90s were real hustlers. Not taking anything away from today's generation because they're great in their own way.

I like how Nick said his baby mamas don’t have a limit on what they spend. What they ask for they get. He does it this way so he can still connect with them in a way instead of just throwing money their way. He thinks of his family as a whole in a way. Like sister wives. This is unconventional but I think he’s in like a good friend to the babymothers and a godfather in a sense to the kids. People wonder about the emotional impact on the kids in the future but it’s their mothers reasoning them mostly so I think they’ll be just fine. I’m sure people will rather have Nick Cannon as a dad than most.

I once was in the studio with Nick Cannon at the age of 16 with the Bomb Squad and I was in a group called South East1. I was born and raised in the Lincoln Park neighborhood and always wished we could connect on some talent writing levels again but he seems untouchable and that's what's difficult for me to understand for him reaching back to his own community.
