Truth is it will be difficult to be in a relationship if you have not fully confronted and dealt with your own internalized issues this is the same principle with being a parent to a child. How do you add value or even teach values of love, support, kindness, and discipline if you were not exposed to those principles when you were a child. But what i appreciate is the spirit of resilience that we can grow and outgrow certain behaviors through development this is called maturity especially if we confront our weaker selves.
