Nemo actually has a very sketchy history in chess as well. It is a decently well known in the chess community that it is highly likely that Nemo achieved her WGM chess title by going to closed round robin tournaments in Europe and paying strong players to have a prearranged draw or win for Nemo. There is quite a bit of analysis online which anyone can read for themselves, but it seems extremely likely that her title was obtained through illegitimate measures.

This is pretty common in chess and has been for a long time. I'm not saying it isn't sketchy, I'm just saying that Nemo is not extraordinarily sketchy by doing this.

The story here isn’t the morality of the activity, as immoral as it was (both for this woman and her coach). The real story is the stupidity of both of them to not foresee the backlash. This situation should definitely cause them both of them $10s of thousands of dollars of lost income (much more than the cost of the seat)! The coach should be fired from his company. A poker coaching company should want to distance themselves from anything akin to theft or immoral behavior. For this woman, her audience probably largely consists of simps who throw money at her and probably won’t be affected…”pretty girl” privilege.

She also bought her FM and FGM titles in chess.
She went to private tournaments IN Europe, paid high elo players to draw or lose the match and then gained the norms.
As soon as she left these tournaments, her elo dropped by nearly 150 elo in a year.

@@MusicPlaylistsChannel There was a huge uproar with Mishra Abhimanyu, who broke the record for youngest Grandmaster by doing the same strategy.
Only difference: He is clearly at that level, he just should have not gotten it that fast, but later. He gained over 110 elo in less than 3 months doing that.
Meanwhile she [Nemo] is not at her titles' level and her elo dropped to 2330 one year afterwards. A literal 120+ elo drop in a few months of play.
She should and would have never gotten these titles.
There is a great NYT article titled "The dark side of Chess" that explains everything.
And great statistics to show how popular this strategy has gotten:
Nepomniachtchi (World #3) had to beat opponents whose elo average was 2512 to reach GM. Multiple strong Grandmasters and strong International Masters. This was in 2007. 2500+ elo is Grandmaster.
Meanwhile Abimanyu's opponents had an average elo of 2390. This was in 2021. This is FIDE Master level (2300+). Not even International Master (2400), let alone Grandmaster (2500).

Jean Francois is a loyal commenter of mine and for some reason his comments were being deleted before I could see them. I now have seen many of these pretty young ladies play great chess e.g., Anna Cramling, Botez sisters, et al, but Nemo is the only one I dislike. Once I saw this youngster play her for her number b/c he liked her. I get it, she wasn't into him - no problema, but once the guy lost she started saying how she didn't want the guy's number and embarrassing & humiliating him for no reason just to be mean! Another time I saw her bullying this guy along with some of her friends like some kids do in middle school. She's one of those that is attractive on the outside but rotten in the inside. A ton of hypocritical behavior from viewers around here, and most were exacerbated by the owner of this channel, great job mate. The actions of her do not constitute a scam, they are not proper for a person with good intentions yet labeling it a scam is a stretch and a hypocritical and vindictive way of disclosing such behavior. The owner of this channel is no better than Nemsko or whatever her pseudonym is, just for the mere fact of increasing the severity of her actions.
When someone (ANYONE) needs to increase the severity of the actions committed by the person being critique, that someone has either ulterior motives running in the background (which is not a good sign) or is a total hypocrite, and all of these in correlation to the actions of Nemsko, makes the owner of this channel as harmful as her or worst depending on the situation. This notion applies to everyone.
