omfg comomo is my hero. EVERY dev needs to do this. troll the cheaters, then ban them, and post all their vids of them getting messed with. the hero we deserve right there.
For those that don't know, much like our host here, you can't use Cheat Engine for aimbot/ESP. Cheat Engine is mostly used to modify in game data like currency, items and stuff like that. Cheat Engine also doesn't work on server based games, or most multiplayer games for that matter. Yes BasicallyRetired was cheating, but I doubt it was through Cheat Engine.
Yeah but remember this video is coming from someone who doesn't know how these hacks work. But also you aren't completely correct either. Cheat Engine is a direct Memory hacker modifying things like currency is usually a visual unless there's a breach in the server. Cheat engine can be used to make trainer's which can be used for different types of hacking. You can reverse engineer while its running. It also doesn't keep you from getting banned by different types of anti-hack its more the way people are coding these types of programs, and what methods to bypass security. The difference with cheat engine is that it can modify memory in real time. When people use reverse engineering software you have to inject the .exe with your code edits and modifying those aren't always possible or can lead to ban.
@@Hisui1859 Any anti cheat worth a damn will have ways to deal with cheat engine, since cheat engine makes no effort at hiding what it does In fact, ANYTHING more complex than changing a simple value requires you to attach a debugger, which is VERY detectable Want to edit a .exe? use a hex editor, at least that doesn't have to run with the game, but ofc any launcher worth their salt will detect the change TL;DR: if the anti cheat can't protect against cheat engine, it's just bloatware with an anti cheat tag
Have you seen the new splat feature? I love it. It rapidly increases fall velocity so they die to fall damage from something as simple as jumping off the top of a car. So for Faze, she is justified by showing a yellow box before when they thought she was cheating it was the notorious red box not yellow so anyone could then use the yellow box as a justification to what people thought they saw, cause again thats 2 different colored boxes
If you slow down the footage to 0.25 you can clearly see down through the door as she swings onto the table on the left hand side of the door. When she swings and mounts on the table, you can clearly see a guy crouched in view and then as she looks away from the door you can clearly see the guy is about to move in the direction that the red box ends up in. She is 10000% a cheater, also a big as red flag about it was her tweet about the whole thing "Incels got mad at me and spam reported me so now im permabanned" thats literally what a cheater would say, anyone who was not guilty, wouldn't say something like this, they'd want to clear their name quickly and with grace, not immediately lash out at the audience who are carrying you through life. I believe whole-heartedly shes a cheater, and yes Activision may be pretty good with banning players, but they seem to have a very hard time banning anyone whos a FEMALE and whos an INFLUENCER on tik-tok, see Nadia for example a girl caught cheating in a live tournament and somehow is still allowed to play the game, meanwhile a guy shows cheating software for educational purposes, trying to inform the community on how to see these scumbags, hes permabanned every account??

I heard a story about how this guy made some cheat software that did the opposite of what you think. Essentially, it just did things like make you drop your gun, drop a grenade at your feet when you try to throw it, etc. I think it was for CS:GO initially and he expanded it out. Top notch trolling.
Cheat engine uses packet modification (typically client side packet interactions) which CAN have big effects on smaller non server based games. It does NOT "evade cheat defenses" as suggested by this video, its actually quite a basjc and low level type of cheating program that people even use for single player games. Any kind of basic anti cheat will easily detect it.
Seeing such a poorly researched segment in the video has me doubting the research that has gone into other segments of their videos. I'm not even sure where they got their information, it's so ridiculously wrong it's on par with hacking scenes in television. FYI trying to use Cheat Engine to try and hack in any sort of anti-cheat protected game is a recipe for a non-optional extended break from the game. It will not protect you against anti-cheat, and it will not help you cheat. If you want to use it to finish that NSFW offline clicker game you've been playing and unlock that final art, go ahead. Don't let it touch your online games.
@@Zikeji I'm gonna take a guess, guess you're right but I feel like channels like these are kind of not for people in the know really. The channel name, the style of content and the success all make me think none of the content is researched any further than "gamers who were caught cheating" and downloading the videos that looked good, maybe reading the descriptions too for some story in the video. I do love that term though "non-optional extended break from the game", I've gotta use that
Yea, this guy's lack of knowledge about half the shit he's talking about is arguably more embarrassing than the people he's featuring. Like yea, Aydan got caught using alts to skip lobby wait times, but at least he probably knows that that isn't what "smurfing" is.
Used to belong in a clan in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, we had our own dedicated servers. Hackers were usually dealt with an admin command "!lol ", which caused 6 instantly exploding grenades to spawn right under the feet of the player as soon as he respawned. So after around 5-6 deaths and locked to a 30 second respawn timer each time, hackers left the server very quickly.

16:28 The most telling clip of Aydan is one where he vaults over a tall wall during Warzone 1, which at the time locked your camera facing forward but while vaulting over it, his reticle moved away from the center of the screen to the right, locked on to the chest of an enemy player and when the camera lock was released, it snapped to the right and he started shooting and downing that player.

In an attempt not to appear foolish, I think Nikhil Kamath shows how profoundly foolish he is for thinking that the world chess community would not notice him cheating. I knew that guy cheated the moment he beat the world-renowned five-time world chess champion, Viswanathan Anand, but didn't show any emotion.
6:17 cheat engine is not often used for aimbots and such, it's one of the most detected applications by anti-cheat software. I don't cheat online but I use cheat engine a lot in single player games to avoid grinding for days in order to unlock stuff. Cheat engine's main use is to edit values in the game's memory, like money, health etc. It can be used for more complex tasks like injecting code etc but it's mostly for test purposes before programming a real tool. Cheat engine is also not only for games but other programs as well. Wouldn't qualify somebody as a cheater only because he has CE on his desktop
Exactly, in fact, most anticheat software are usually ok with you having cheat engine installed as long as you're not running it on secured games (obviously)... if you wanted to actually use it on an anticheat-protected game, you would need to get a non-detected version which is usually easier said than done and when you start messing with the game's memory, well, the anticheat does it's thing, lol so i don't see people as cheaters just because the thing is installed

Which is why i say him simply having it on his desktop isn't damning all the games it DOES work on tend to be offline single player games (minus Shadow of war I've run into constant cheaters in the Online mode then again Monolith never had an anti-cheat software and the games so old they don't care anymore)
Cheat engine is just a memory scanner essentially. I really don't think you'd be able to get aimbots or esps from that, it's usually just for giving yourself money in singleplayer games (it's easily detectable)
Was about to say, literally never cheated, had cheat engine installed since ever. Its good for modding certain games, letting you mess with some values without reloading the game.
For all I know, Cheat Engine can only be used to edit values on the game ... Like editing probability, model measurements like adding height/weight , add resources like money, gems, etc.. I used it a lot during my modding days .. I dont think it can be use to an online as aimbot.
It can’t. I think what they’re claiming the cheat engine was used for was bypassing the in game cheat detection. I haven’t used cheat engine in a few years, but there may be a way to freeze an alarm state within the game that is looking for cheats. So no cheating is 0, for example, and cheating is 1. So if the game detects cheating, this value triggers and reports the cheater. But if you preemptively freeze that value to 0, it never triggers the cheat detection. That’s my GUESS anyway. I have absolutely no idea how true that is. That was my interpretation of the cheat engine explanation lol Update: Another guess is maybe being able to change the strength of aim assist? Surely there is some kind of value associated with aim assist, and maybe you can increase it with cheat engine. Not necessarily acting as a full on aim bot, but similar.
@@PtylerBeats I also think like plugging a controller gives you Aim-assist .. so maybe just tricking the system you have a controller and buffing it.. idk

Kids will be kids, wouldn’t even fault him for cheating if he did, except for the fact he didn’t do it on his own time but used it to win real world money, that other players deserved more than him I’m sure
The cheat engine part is nearly impossible, especially using it in warzone. It is a straight forward cheat where it can easily be detected and wont work because it handle things in generic approach. People only use CE on single player games or flash games.
you can still use it for online games using bypasses all cheat engine really is is a memory editor / script engine. not saying people should use it but it can be used
Not true at all. I've used cheat engine to teleport, speed, and fly on online games. I even used it on path of exile back in the day just to zoom out the camera a bit.
The issue with this, is that Cheat Engine can and is also used to get around certain bugs in older games, or to for example; increase the funds you have in a game like the Total War series, if you find a specific scenario too difficult or your decisions put you into a corner and you don't want to reset the campaign

That being said, it doesn't seem logical because it isn't. Humans, by their very nature, are not logical. Humans are emotional creatures, and regardless of how "logical" you want to pretend you are, you always have some emotional biases compounded with having to predict the reaction of any other humans with emotional biases around you. As a shooter veteran I know snapping onto targets doesn't necessarily mean aimbot. What makes Natarsha's clip so suspicious is that she doesn't stop firing during the transition. At such a high skill level I don't think you would continuously hold down the fire button. It seemed more like the snap wasn't done by her.

Smurfing isn’t to speed up lobby wait times, it’s used to get into easier lobbies by abusing the skill-based matchmaking used in most games these days.
Can be used for either. Sitting in queue for 30mins for a LoL gets old FAST. So i had 2 options, throw games, BORING. Or just make a new account and enjoy the game again. I would gladly take a fair and even match, but not at the cost of a 30min queue time, just to have 50% of those someone dodge.... basically an hour of waiting on average for 1 game! Not fun at all.

Cheating in chess is sadly very common, because the only way to detect it is when moves are too good, too often, and played at unnatural pace. Chess engines can just tell you the best moves, so no cheat has to interact with the game directly. The only thing that really gives players a sense of integrity about the game to this day is in person tournaments with no electronics allowed
Schmooey is a fine example of someone who is good enough at the game to possibly get a record themselves, and therefore when they don't get it, feels cheated out of it, so they cheat instead
Indeed. It has been proven time and time again that the best cheaters, for any game, are people who are already good at it. The more you understand about a game, the easier it is to be deceitful and mask your fraudulent behavior. What those people usually fail to realize is that there will always be a bigger fish (someone smarter than you). Some of my favorite examples are cheaters being caught via technological impossibilities. Like the speedrunners who got caught faking N64 speedruns because their footage had audio that the N64 console is not physically capable of outputting.

Or should I lose at the last phase of a 40+ minute boss fight, rather then waste 40 minutes to get back to the same phase just edit the HP values. I essentially use Cheat Engine as a time saver. Course, would be better if we went back to the days where we could save wherever, whenever.

Aim Assist definitely exists for KBM and is also pretty easily abused with it as well. It's not commonly enabled, due to this exact general misconception that it "does more harm than help" and thus "can never be a positive feature", but it definitely DOES exist and work on KBM. And can be very, very, VERY overpowered in games where it functions. And... yeah. Aim assist essentially IS aim bot, but with much stricter limitations. Just look up the huge halo aim assist controversy recently, because aim assist quite literally looked like an aim bot because it was tuned way too high.
@@AtomicArtumas I can't tell you how many times I've been royally fucked by "aim assist" in Apex. I try to kill someone and it aims at all the peoples' knockdown shield around my feet that I already dropped.
My very last upload is someone I believe is hacking. Not trying to grab views.. I just upload junk here and there. Maybe that's why this video was in my recommended. Anyways, I played the prior round WITH the guy that was hacking and I didn't know it at the time. He was just murdering people everywhere. I thought he was just good lol. Then in the next match, he killed me at the end. I didn't suspect anything until I watched the death cam. I was like "omg.. he's hacking." But I also can't tell for certain if the PUBG replays look a bit "off" and maybe that's all it was. But there's definitely ridiculous snapping going on when he aims. At one point, it looked like he went from almost looking at an enemy (which he appeared to be noticing at the start and kinda watching through a solid fence) and then he did some kind of weird spin and brief aim lock at the enemy. He's level 500. Reminds me of Battlefield lol. Hackers @ max level because the devs suck and swallow.
Upper Eschelon did an interesting video showing how gamers are better at spotting and policing cheats than the global scientific community, especially when it comes to scientific papers and the peer review process. It's actually scary.
Cheat Engine, despite its rather damning name, is actually a very normal program to have on your computer. All it does is lets you scan the process memory and modify/freeze some of the values in it. Basically that's the tool to get 99 lives or infinite money in singleplayer games. With some luck you might even make a rapid-fire RPG by freezing its loaded ammo counter as 1, for instance. So it's just a tool to goof around in singleplayer games (or just apps in general) for any reason. I had fun breaking a few old games with it so I still have the desktop shortcut of it too, it's not indicative of cheating in online multiplayer at all. Cheat Engine alone in no shape or form can provide aimbot, wallhacks, prevent cheat detection etc.

Yep, maybe if the anti cheat is bad enough you can mess with it, but hacking?
Good effing luck
@@Hisui1859 Any anti cheat worth a damn will have ways to deal with cheat engine, since cheat engine makes no effort at hiding what it does

Exactly, in fact, most anticheat software are usually ok with you having cheat engine installed as long as you're not running it on secured games (obviously)...
if you wanted to actually use it on an anticheat-protected game, you would need to get a non-detected version which is usually easier said than done and when you start messing with the game's memory, well, the anticheat does it's thing, lol

It can't. I actively use it to test new values in Terraria when scripting my mod, and I don't see a "Script Aimbot" function on it.
That was my interpretation of the cheat engine explanation lol

That being said, it doesn't seem logical because it isn't. Humans, by their very nature, are not logical. Shouldnt be ironic in any way, consumer expecting some sort of standard from the creator, I truly believe that just as a commentator I can spout any bs, but the uploader shouldnt.
And tbh, my sources are over 4000 hours of Rust gameplay, but I still wanted to note that i can simply be wrong(and probably am cause Camodo and CNDBloods content show that) and whatever I say should be taken with a grain of salt.

No kidding. Speedrunners know the game almost better than the developers. Trying to sneak something past them is genuinely like trying to sneak drugs past a police dog.
I shudder in fear and awe of the Mario speedrunning community! They have caught so many content creators faking their runs.
Yeah, eyes of an eagle and nose of a bloodhound yet still constantly give each other a free pass for every single time they deliberately exploit a game's glitches to get their faster times over everyone else who don't cheat in this way. Safety in numbers, I guess.
When a person is dumb enough to want to cheat their way to a speedrunning record, then they're not going to be intelligent enough to figure out that they're 99% likely to be caught. Stupid is as stupid does.
@@echelon2k8 speedrunners know exactly where the rules end, and they're pretty well spelled out in the category rules. As a shooter veteran I know snapping onto targets doesn't necessarily mean aimbot. What makes Natarsha's clip so suspicious is that she doesn't stop firing during the transition. Spray transfer is a thing, but I get what you are saying. Does seem unnatural

@@motiroy982 In charity game??
Cheating in chess is sadly very common, because the only way to detect it is when moves are too good, too often, and played at unnatural pace. Chess engines can just tell you the best moves, so no cheat has to interact with the game directly. The only thing that really gives players a sense of integrity about the game to this day is in person tournaments with no electronics allowed
They had a card up their sleeve so I pulled out the uno reverse with cheat engine. (Best example)
I love this series! Make a Part 4!
I love watching admins messing with cheaters, it's hilarious! And yes Camomo is a legend!
Yep. I did mention Schmooey in the comments of Episode 1 so I'm glad they talked about him.
Schmooey still played extremely well in Person as well, and he returned all prize money he earned. So he actually did the right thing even after cheating and still get's along with professional players like CarnyJared. So he deserves major respect unlike most other cheaters!

What you described is not "aim assist", it's "aim bot".
Aim assist doesn't work that way, and it would harm more then help on keyboard and mouse.

But I also can't tell for certain if the PUBG replays look a bit "off" and maybe that's all it was. But there's definitely ridiculous snapping going on when he aims. At one point, it looked like he went from almost looking at an enemy (which he appeared to be noticing at the start and kinda watching through a solid fence) and then he did some kind of weird spin and brief aim lock at the enemy.
