Have you tried the icarsoft MB 1.0 or 2.0? That's what I use as it has a good 38pin adaptor to do the modules on the older cars that don't have OBDII.
@MBDieselFreak I installed a Kenwood 10.1 head unit in my 2009 Mercedes Benz harmon kardon ntg 2.5 and was wondering if I can use the scanner for the command and change it to not present to see audio Nav on the instrumental cluster display? or do I need to go to dealer to use star? or can I use a fiber most loop to fix the ring or a canbus decoder? the in advance
Hey man, first thing first - absolutely love your channel man. Some stuff you explain is priceless.
On another hand, I was thinking to buy this scanner and then i saw all negative reviews on Amazon. People use it, there is an update, people do update it and then "repurchasing" option pups up and manufacturer is ignoring customers. So my isssue is that it will work for unknown period of time and then it becomes paper weight.
Can you recommend any other brand please?
I hadn't heard of that issue. Odd since software updates are done automatically by the scanner and the updates are vehicle specific.
The other scanner I showed in the video is great also, the Launch X431. I've also heard good things about Autel, but not sure which model is mercedes specific.
Can you change height on air suspension with this scanner ?
Do you know if the NT530 will measure or display fuel pressure? I’m having long starts on my OM642.

I dont think so but does that code things out, on a 2004 clk500 i would like to code out the Tele Aid . i feel its only the star system that can do that
These newer scanners can code in options that the cars never had before. Shouldn't have any issue doing teleaid

@@MBDieselFreak GREAT!!! I have 2 E320 cdis and a ML250,,,,,,,Love the 2 om648's,,,,,,the OM651 has 180k on it,,,,,,,hope it will last,,,,,little worried about the timing chain/and guides,,,,,,,,On the ML,,,,got some drive train vibration in Drive but not Park,,,,,maybe motor mount?
Can you force DPF regeneration with this tester?
It has the option but I've never done it personally

Meh, I am not sure if "need" is the correct term for needing to add a injector code haha. likely something more like "would be preferred" to add injector codes.....

Love your channel. It’s cool u are getting sponsorships now. I discussed some cool cheap scanners on my channel which I have yet to see anyone use. Program injectors with 50 dollar tool.
@sprinterfix there's TONS of software out there avaliable for pretty much any car, but the vast majority of them are laptop based. I prefer something I can keep in the car and fire up quickly.
For diesels it's pretty much mandatory. Or am I totally wrong? Afaik most diesels throw all the codes if the injectors aren't coded.
@@JayMaverick I know from expirence the om648 doesn't throw codes if the injectors aren't coded.

Have you ever heard of two front tires being programmed into the ecu as different sizes then the rear two? Is that something one of the more exotic programs in the mercedes software suite can fix?
@@sprinterfix I said that I have it, didn't say that I'm trained. Some things I can change like SAI, oxygen sensors... Somewhere in settings this thing should be... I don't know where. I have as e320 cdi, but also staggered Sl55, e55 should have same wheels, but sl has different front and rear, so it settings should be somewhere there...
@@sprinterfix newer vehicles use xentry , vediamo, Monaco. I'm pretty sure that vediamo, Monaco will be those that you want to look up first. Start in the dev options will have everything in German, and it will be very hard to translate... There's a lot of tutorials that I saw couple years ago on forums, they had very primitive (simple) step by step guide, but I lost those bookmarks... My buddy's friend was doing all of the modes (not tuning) with vediamo, he was surprised that I was able to disable some of options (sai, secondary oxygen) with star...
